~Jaapy 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2009 Wow Jeff you are so wrong about a few of those I think!!! If someone can, correct me if I'm wrong!! But: ' date='Jan 12 2009, 09:25 PM' post='248433'] jajajaja= noob way of laughing This is insulting, hehe. In Spanish you pronounce this as "gagagaga" so this is Spanish laughing. You now officially declared all Spanish people noob :( ' date='Jan 12 2009, 09:25 PM' post='248433'] pt= slang-curse, unkind way of insulting someone Uh no. pt is short for puto/puta. So yes it's insulting, but not slang. ' date='Jan 12 2009, 09:25 PM' post='248433'] 19= agree with No it isn't. This is a remnant from USA/INT where some group of people starting using it. It's a reference to Age of Empires. In Age of Empires you can chat in multiplayer games and 19 will make the sound "hahahahahha" play. So it's the same as LOL. This is also the same about 2/13. I don't know if you know, but 2 plays the sound "no" in Age of Empires. And 13 plays "I dont think so". So 2/13 means "No, I dont think so" for short... ~elguason 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2009 You proununce "jajaja" in spanish in the same way than you do with "hahaha" in english. We use (in spanish) the "J" and it sounds in the same way than "H" (in english) in some words like "Heroe", "Hi", "Hunter", etc Since we use (in Spanish) the "H" in the same way that in english it sounds in words like "Honest", "Honour", "Hour", "Heir". That is why we dont write "hahaha", or it would sound: "a a a" pt = noob (at Argentina) pt= exp party (at Japan)
Monkey 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2009 ' date='Jan 12 2009, 09:25 PM' post='248433'] DD= Demons. How can the shortname of Demons be DD? There only exists 1 "D" in the word Demon. Always wondered why most players use the DD shortcut, Dem seems to make way more sense to me. Or is this the result of a bunch on ignorant people?
