Rep Abuse?

heard people talking about rep abuse. whats the exact meaning for it?

 

since we'r unable to rep chara between multi client now.. what if i park a char on my laptop and crea8 diff char to rep the char. is that considered rep abuse?

 

or if i park one char on my laptop, and play another char on my desktop.. than i constantly trade rep between the 2.. isit rep abuse?

I think you cant rep some1 with the same IP address. So repping ur other char on desktop from laptop wont work, or they have to be on a different internet connection (neighbours or something)

No, they cant.. It sucks, but otherwise ppl may abuse of multiclient.

 

Many ppl here (Argentina) likes to play in coffee shops, therefore they rep each other.. now they cant and sometimes is hard to find someone to trade rep with..

We added a few protections for this on last update, White may clarify better:

 

cant rep same IP.

New chars need to wait *spam* time to make the first rep...

We make -500 rep if we still noticing abuse...

If you get a certain amount of -reps it gets reset to 0 right?

max rep is 9999. if u get a rep+ it goes to 0

what about negative rep then? if i get -9999 and i get one more negative rep i will be 0 ?

Some basics things to know about rep:

- it does NOT affect drop rate

- it affects kloness & righteous.

- New chars must wait *spam* Time before they can use rep for the first time

- Repping yourself using multi client on same IP is not allowed (this is also blocked by the server, so you just can't rep lol)

- Using another computer with a different IP to rep yourself is allowed, so you still have to wait the *spam* Time to rep again this is not really considered to be laming

- Rep above 9999 resets to 0

- Rep below -9999 resets to 0

- Using the old BI rep bug is no longer possible - this bug has been FIXED.
