I am looking for 4-5 screen shots of a group hunting hellclaw using the

 

" X formation " hunting style

 

tanker...4 warriors on each corner and a couple mages...GHing and zerking

 

If anyone has some, or can make some...let me know.

 

I want to make a guide and need some ss's. Thanks

Your X- formation doesnt sound too bad Torana, but I prefer using tank in front of the HC and warriors hitting from the corners, because that makes mages work easier and takes less people to hunt.

Also you can work the HC's back side by critting it from 1 block away, so it wont turn against you, and will keep on hitting the tank.

Oh and I prefer bows in a noob hunt, so tank + couple of mages and the rest bows from behind, but if you have good dmg warriors, preferably with full heros for more hitting propability, X formation works better.

i think u mean Oni , ruutu,i use the method in vamps ss ,or ,yeah bows,,

 

3 bbh ,1mage (2 if u wanna do all zerk n runners z) and whoever else on bows is the fastest ive found.

 

its the same method we use for TW also.

Yeah I think i remember that SS cause i told him to get on the other side. The SS i posted looks like it was taken about 10 minutes later :P

Usually when im tanking I prefer to have 2 on X and the rest bow so you get both stun and the hard damage.

With HC it really doesnt matter because they are pretty easily to take down and tanking isnt that hard with 1 mage. Ruutu youre also right, when your hunting with noobs i also prefer them bowing, there is less chance they get on the wrong sqaure and make the HC turn. Theres also less chance for deaths, if a newer player gets hit hes more than likely going to run instead of towering up ruining the whole set up.

If you want it cut so just the TW hunt parts there (shows a warrior on the corner moving out to zerk himself and going back in - as they should!), I can do that for you :)
