well iv played hb for 8yrs and iv never found out EXACTLY wat the deal is wiv rep heres it to my knowlege as in drops.

 

the higher the rep the more chance of drops, but does ne1 know the %? and so on, coz iv played servers where gms say rep is nothing to do wiv drops its all pure chance..so id like to know to the best of ur knowlege the formula for the drop ratio as in reps concerned.

Rep doesn't influence drops.

That is what I have heard:

Reputation doesnt affect on the amount of drops you get, but once you get the drop the rep affects in the stats of the drop, Higher rep= higher quality drops. Players with low reputation drops better items when they die than players with high rep.

Reputation adds damage on righteous and kloness weapons.

if you have 1000 reputation more than your enemy you get 1 extra damage on righteous in nemesis (I think), about kloness Im not sure.

Well from information i got from Jaapy, i only think this:

 

Rep makes your mind believe it's effect the drop rate.. So your luckyness get your drop :b.

I don't believe in superstition it tends to cause bad luck ;-)

well i know for sure rep has effect on drop, maybe not here but on other server i played there was a guy with 300 rep who would get nothing and other with -1k+ who has lots good itens, then 1 day gm closed server a bit for tests and other things and realyzed that there was a wrong thing in codes witch made u get better drops from lower rep when it should be the inverse

however in PvP if you have low rep you will drop more items.

typcal players w/ decent to good rep drop 1 item lower rep but not bad you will

drop 2 items and if you have bad rep you will drop 3 items. (this is in the original code

and from what ive seen on nemesis has not been chaged)

This has nothing to do with rep. Your PK count determines the amount of items dropped.

i thinks there is a variable out there in the code that some1 can change, the % of influence in the drop, like

 

rep * 1,5 = quality of the item. or something like that

 

buttt... u still get shit items with full rep...

That's possible. Here is how it works:

 

0 PK count = if NPC, drop 1 item (if it picks bound-item like DK set, nothing is dropped)

0 PK count = if enemy player, drop 2 items

1-3 PK count = drop 3 items (if you lucky, it picks 3 DK set items and nothing is dropped)

4-11 PK count = drop 6 items

12 or higher PK count = drop 12 items

 

It has nothing to do with REP.

The items dropped are completely random as well.
