New Spell Suggestions

Hello!

 

Here are som new spell ideas.

 

Halos

Halos can be seen by everyone (just like angels).

A player can't have both protective spells and halos at the same time.

The halo appears over the head of the player targeted by the halo.

 

Minor Halos (obtained at mage tower)

 

Minor HP Halo (red)

+10% Max Hp

Lasts for 1 min

 

Minor MP Halo (blue)

+10% Max Mana

Lasts for 1 min

 

Minor SP Halo (green)

+10% Max Stamina

Lasts for 1 min

 

Minor Hit Halo (purple)

+20 hitrating

Lasts for 40 sek

 

Minor Brutal Halo (orange)

+3 physical and magical dmg.

Lasts for 40 sek

 

Major Halos (obtained from manuals)

 

Major HP Halo (glowing red)

+20% Max Hp +10% hp regen

Lasts for 1 min

 

Major MP Halo (glowing blue)

+20% Max Mana + 10% mp regen

Lasts for 1 min

 

Major SP Halo (glowing green)

+20% Max Stamina +10% sp regen

Lasts for 1 min

 

Major Hit Halo (glowing purple)

+40 hitrating

Lasts for 40 sek

 

Major Brutal Halo (glowing orange)

+6 physical and magical dmg.

Lasts for 40 sek

 

True Sight Halo (glowing white)

Player is able to se oposing factions protective spells.

Lasts for 1 min

 

Other spells

 

Deadly Poison

When deadly poison is cast on a player, that player needs to be cured within 1 min.

If the player fail to cast cure or eat a green pot then health will be reduced down to 1 when 1 min is up.

When the spell is trigered, all players one tile around the infected player will be

poisoned and will need to be cured aswell (chain reaction).

 

Charm Monster

A charmed monster will be in your control for 1 min (just like a summon).

If the monsters health drops below 50% then control is lost.

A monster with health below 50% can't be charmed.

 

The suggestions are just for fun.

POLYMORPH

 

A rare manual that when learned it will grant you the possibility to polymorph into a wide variety of monsters.

By polymorphing into certain mob you get its features.

 

For example if u polymorph into a WereWolf ur dice dmg its now 8-64 and his DR, MR,Ma etc..

 

Once you polymorph u cant change between armours.

 

Gargyole can be the max mob you can turn into.

The range would go between slime and gargyole.

 

Strongest monsters (defined by the ones which cant be paralyzed) has some disadvantages:

 

U get their max hp, but u cant chug or recover hp until your HP is half the HP you normaly have.

Cant recover mana until polymorph is out.

You also dont get the spells those monsters have, nor the meele range attack. This last one is defined by the weapon u carry at the moment you get poly.

 

Lets say u have 800 hp and polymorph into a Demon, then u get around 2k HP, but u cant recover HP until u have 400, or Poly is out.

 

 

If u polymorph into an Ant lets say to hide from enemy for example, ur life will be reduced by half.

 

Polymorph can be canceled.

Each mob has different mana values, for example:

 

Slimes having the minimum mana for the spell, lets say.. 220 without any MS?

Biggest monsters (demons, gargyole, lizards) drains all your mana with a penalty myabe of not recovering for X seconds? To avoid mass polymorph :P

 

 

I cant think of all details now :P but this is like a base of the idea.

i doubt Polymorph isnt possible cuz if u compare chars to monsters.... you would be changing shape and out of all the servers i tried that cant be done

second of all if u polymorph and if u r gonna chase after some1 u can only walk ( for a monster walking thats like 2x as slow as a players walking)

If u turn into slime and some1 hits u (as u said u get granted wif their hp) and a slime has what 30 max hp? one slice ur dead.....

Lastly how will u attack ppl wif their mana or hits? ( what if u run out of mana, just like a magic orc only has limited amount) you would be toast! say goodbye to ur zem xD

i dont think hb can support most of these ideas

face it

hb is an old game, to bring spells from exxample, WoW (polimorph)

is practically impossible, or a lot of work

hb is a 20th century game

WoW is a 21st century game

 

 

its like comparing a nintendo64 game to a ps3 game

Polymorph can be done, the GM's can do it.

 

There was also a cool spell on another server I played a while ago which had a different kind of poly morph spell. It changed your sex for 30 seconds. Now for those slow people out there that doesnt know what they does, it strips all your armor and means you cant wear it untill you change back :P

I do like the idea of the halos, altough I think the only useful would be the hitting prob and damage halo. Most likely used during 1 v 1 fights

 

I dont like the poison and charm monster idea.

 

Then i?d probably be very important to determine how much int is required for each spell, meaning... will a zerk war be able to cast this spells with the regular 59 int? or will he need 65 points or something like that

Stick to the original weapons. These spells seem like something hb banana would have. If something should be added, it's the spells original servs have and we dont (wrath of thor etc).
