Magic Saph?

Umm i used these wares for a magic saph: 94 / 95% saph wares, 100% crys ware and Mstone.

 

My Magic saph only got 82%. Why is that? I read these exact words on the best HB knowlegde site i know:

 

Magic Gem % formula:

 

Average of the purities of the ingredients multiplied by 0.8 (80%).

 

For example, if you used a 100% crystalware, 89% diamondware, 67% diamondware, and a 100% Merien Stone (they are always 100%). Then your final completion would be 71% (71.2 rounded down)

 

or.... {(100 + 89 + 67 + 100 ) / 4 }* 0.8 = 71.2

 

Since this formula (taken from hbint's website) only allows for making items up to 80%, I believe that from 80% to 100% is done randomly.

 

Hint: Since Merien Stones are so expensive/rare and gems are free if you mine them, it is best to use only high % Gemwares when makeing Magic Gems and only 100% Crystalwares

 

 

I know that's not intirely true but isn't the HBnemesis formula for Magic gems:

 

(Gemware + Gemware + Crysware + Mstone ) / 4

 

Mstone allways as 100% ofc.

no, this formula IS 100% correct.

 

with all wares at 100%, you'll always have atleast a gem 80%

 

any % above 80 is randomly generated.

 

well, basicly it's like this:

 

(ware% + ware % + ware % + 100%) / 4 * 0.8 + random(0, 20) = gem %

i used low gems and i got 98% wierd huh?

what is better though magic saph 98% or lets say?

dex 3,4,4? angel

magin saphire gives pa%, while dex angel gives dr/hp, its like comparing ma with mr
