Does Mag Boost The Chance To Paralyze?

I finally reached my lv 180, with 12 unused stats.

My current stat is 200 str, 200 dex, 59 int, 10 mag, 116 vit. I heard that an addtional 10 stats in mag will help me to para, is that true?

 

If not, I think I am gonna to put the 12 stats into vit.

its true... but atleast u would need 25 mag...get some majestico points and change stats...

The Magic stat does influence your Magic Resistance. The following calculation is used to increase your magic resistance (if the outcome is 0 or less, then no magic resistance is added, but also not substracted).

 

MagicResistanceBonus = MAG - 50

 

So you start to get 1 bonus resistance for having 51 MAG. 200 MAG will get you 150 bonus resistance.

but 25-50 (i have 50) mag is very useful... casting, regens

It helps you, but you will not land most of your Paralize.

 

20 Mag = 40% of HP on magics.

While a Mage with 200 Mag and 100%Mr skill = 250% to dodge

 

you will need a decent Wand with HP
