i dont think thats how dr works at all

 

every 2 dr % = 1 dex point

 

dr makes you harder to hit (like higher dex) but it doesnt absorb any damage so when youre hit you get hit for the same amount you would if hit with a bs plate

either way a 200%+ dr set kicks *censored* and make people miss alot.. you just run out of endurance fast

 

 

i remember Merline had like 300%+ dr set in nem1 and i missed like every 3 of 5 times i swung with a dk15 and full hero..

 

i had a 250%+ mr set (+100% mr skill) and we fought and no one could win after an hour cuz we kept missing damage attacks lol...

no its not better, it can be more usefull to escape from a hard situation, but if u pvp, it will brake eventually faster than mr/dr

no one died it was forced recall after an hour lol

 

mr/dr is way better than ma/pa if you ask me

 

i would rather have high mr and not be hit at all and not be frozen by blizz instead of still getting hit 4 or 5 times for 10-15 damage and being frozen

 

and if you used ma and someone wasnt direct blizzing you you would still be hit and frozen.. if someone hits you with blizz not direct and you have a high mr set then theres a high chance you wont be hit at all

I would say its just more of a just personal preference. DR/MR makes you miss but PA/MA reduces the damage when they do hit. So if youve got an awesome MR or DR set, when someone hits you its going to hurt, but they just miss a lot.

 

Personally I use MA, I just got MA gear before I found any decent MR stuff.

 

Anyway in answer to the threads question DK plate is better than DR 35 plate, DR 35 is not going to make a huge difference to your dex so youre going to get hit and its going to hurt because DK has more def and has PA.

the DK plate is better in endurance and will strip less.

 

DR plate is better in defence, but has less endurance and will strip quicker.

 

I'd say, use the DR plate if you got an entire DR set which over-rules DK ALOT. it still has less endruance, but the strip chance will be slim to none as you can dodge it often.

 

DR would be good PvM in this case I think... PvP i'd say DK is slightly better (less strip).
