Can You Fight Etts Without Dex?!

Was playing around with the Character Simulator on the Helbreath Portal website. Basically, I set the dex on my proposed character at 50, just to see wat kind of monsters it could square up to successfully without getting smacked around to frequently. The puzzling thing is, against an Ettin, my character seemed to have a 90% Physical Hit and Physical Dodge Ratio!

 

I tried lowering and increasing the dex, same result!! The simulator also seems to suggest a low dex character would fare well against Mountain Giants and Cannibal plants. Is this for real, or just some kinda glitch in the simulator program?!

Actualy yes you can fight big mobs with 50 dex and a decent str just like you can take them on using an outstanding dex and a low str.

 

the thing is the lower your dex the easier it is for those same monsters to fly you with every hit, your str dont matter on that and at a low dex your a ping pong if caught between to ettins.

What khelben said is correct, try fighting ettins with 50 dex and you're a ping pong ball. :lol:
