ChaosAura 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 Well, first of all, I havn't actually seen this myself, but someone in my guild tested this for myself. From what he is saying the damage of the spells between 67 int and 133 (possible higher) currently have almost no difference in the average damage. Somehow this dosn't seem right, and also limits the builds that people will do, making less variety in the builds that people make.
Doom 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 this is pretty true..my es ews and ls have the same damage lol
~Hunter[GM] 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 Zoro mentioned this also... needs to be tested, definitely
ChaosAura 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 Thats all I can ask. I know that damages like this can be hard to get right.
Speedealer 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 obviously dmg spells with a effect eg freeze shouldnt have higher dmg than a alternative spell with no effect, but when it comes to building a char people are going to be very reluctant to vary there builds if there is little or no diff in dmg for all the stats you pump into int. mass ice strike/es/ls/ews all very similar dmg for very big difference in int requirement =/
~Hunter[GM] 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 We just want to be very careful and not do this haphazardly
ChaosAura 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 Yeah, thats why its usually better to make small changes, cosntantly testing them, not do a huge change that could cause a total inbalance.
