hello,

 

i have a wish - can You make please reward, 10s to recall spell, same like on scrools (invis, detect, recall, etc.) please ? :)

In case - most enemys recalling on first hit... :(. It was wery nice to do barrack till 180lvl, but more newbes is recalling now, nad much harder to get full hero set now...

This has been discussed before, and in the past, wasn't received well.

 

Some of the con's of this kind of system is if designed wrong, it just means a player can never escape, and maybe is frustrated as they cast a spell which then fails and they die because of it.

 

A workable solution that I'd support is the following:

A 3 second damage timer on the CAST but not on the APPLICATION of the spell on the player.

 

So for example, A player who has been damaged in the last 3 seconds who clicks on recall in spellbook.

Spellbook will still close as it normally does on the click.

Player will keep moving and not stop.

Player will get message "You cannot recall as you have taken damage in the last 3 seconds".

 

However, if a player for example, casts recall, then takes damage after they have already clicked on themselves, the recall will still take effect (as it currently does, you occasionally see a person take a -5 then still get the recall off).

 

So it's a cast stopper for people in boxes/running etc, but doesn't penalise for a failed recall cast.

Mabe, if its too hard for do reward on recall by time, mabe it is possibile to delete recall spell at fight zones same like at enemy town, except recall scroll? :ph34r:

How about a 2-3 second hit buffer ALLOWING you to cast recall. and then just as important, a 2 second pending AFTER you've casted, before it takes effect (if hit during these 2 seconds, recall will of course be interrupted.

 

Maybe this way you could use the coding for scroll interruption as opposed to casting interruption. casting interruption is just too absent for the spell Recall.

 

Current set up makes for some seriously boring fights.

Suggestion:

Delete recall spell.

Only use recall scroll, disable scroll from being vanished/disappeared when used in town.
