Well, as it is now you get nothing. Each battle is diff and if a war hits 100 and a mage hits 6 with wand they shouldnt get equal points. But with this topic i just wanted to give an idea. The balancing has to be discussed. Maybe give all the last X amount of records 1 point. Doesnt matter what type it is. I know that it isnt all fair. But its the same as now that a mage gets last hit with wand that did 6 dmg on player, while other wars did 100 and other mage used cancelation/para. That 1 point doesnt have a meaning now, because there is no reward stated. 1 point can be like nothing compared to an EK, but it is something, and it means you helped. To make it more complex you can make each type a different value in points. But i think that if you can create this, people will agree on getting 1 point. This can always be more balanced and expanded in the future. I made this suggestion so battle would be a bit more rewarded. Another idea: Only make para/inhib/cancel/etc as rewarding type. And no dmg dealt. if an inhib mage is in the battle. He does his best to inhib the enemy. He has less time and chance to kill an enemy in battle with more players. This way he is able to get some reward for his inhib, instead of just blizzing and hoping to get the EK Edit: White, I know cancelation is not needed when a warr does the last hit. But if the enemy person was about to regen some health, the situation totally changes. The enemy without PFM/AMP can be paralyzed, frozen, or any other magic dmg. Casting cancelation on some1 with AMP or PFM is always good in battle, if the person dies 1 second later, it was useless yes. But still the person with cancelation was helping, incase the enemy had HP pots / recovery. Inhib: same case, as you said Inhib disables spell casting, invis, great-heal, pfm/amp, recall, etc. Sleep: same as paralyze, if an enemy is paralyzed its always a pro. PFA/Def shield: Has to be discussed The idea behind this suggestion is to lower the EK HUNGRY people, and give support and teamwork a boost. If I am unclear, please say so. I typed this fast because I didnt had much time.

Yea I was there and it only dropped stones/gold/anc piece I agree that there should be a rare drop every week. But it's a lot of work getting abby (a lot of hours people spend on it + ancient tablet used etc). I just came up with this idea and Im not sure if I support it yet but I want to know what people think about it: #1: Since abby is only killable once a week, make it less difficult and time consumeble to get to it. It will still be killed once a week, but with less time put into it #2: After abby is killed, respawn all (or some) mobs. So there can still be hunted for the rest of the week. As I said before, I'm not sure if I support my own idea, so dont criticize me for this idea. This idea just came up to me when reading this topic.

I think its your normal dmg (with mag bonus) X 30% and after that, extra dmg bonus like Wand/Ring gets added

AND RELOG HELGAME.EXE THE SCREEN RESOLUTION STILL CAN CHANGE AFTER YOU DISABLE DISPLAY ADAPTOR GOOD LUCK Yea, and my laptop almost melts when I play like that, even with 2 PC cooling fans underneath it. So that isnt a good solution unless you want to burn down your graphic card, and if unlucky, your entire system ;) @Farjat Ah so you figured it out without editting DXDIAG? When I talk with you on MSN I will test if you still need. when you disable your display adaptor, u will only run CPU graphic ... how u burn your GPU ?!?! u can show me a? Maybe im wrong, but my latop gets way to hot I cant touch it without burning my hand. but its a laptop so I dont think that will happen to a normal desktop

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait a second... by editing the angel pak and replacing it by something else you don't get this problem fixed? no he means that if there is nobody around that wears an Angel he gets 300+ fps on win7 with ati. and sprites cannot be editted

hi silvergold what is that ?? just a spam post or ? :) It's actually a 'server' that reduce your lag. hm about the www.laglessproxy.com on the website its says what games its support and helbreath is not 1 of them so i dont think it will work or ?? :unsure: I saw, when I looked on the website a while ago, there was "Helbreath USA" and "Helbreath Nemesis" in the supported game list..

Yep, I noticed that as Held winner, and a party of 2 people in ML, I got drops more often.

Also 60fps is what HB should be like If you look at the teleport sprites in shop, they move normal with 60fps ;) with more fps, they are turning round like crazy.

I want to suggest to let new people know what our settings are on the server. The thing I'm aiming at most is the fast lvling in barracks. I've seen some new players exp somewhere else at low lvl and I attend them to go to the barracks. Also, on the mainpage of HBnemesis website it still shows Fast lvl 180 news topic, and nowhere that it has been changed to fast 140. If this is already the case, that my apologize for not seeing it.

I play HB on my laptop with ATI radeon graphic card Windows 7 I disable graphic card, reboot laptop, and I have higher FPS. But my laptop get overheated after a while, even with an cooling plate underneath it. So now I use a computer with windows XP with Hardware acceleration disabled I will try the Ati Tray Tools on my laptop, hopefully it works. Maybe something usefull for windows 7 users with Ati: I used to dual boot my laptop with Windows XP, only to use it for HB, with hardware acceleration disabled.

The only problem is when you higher the value of zems, people run/recall/logout faster from battle.... And that is something you dont want!

1) True, still, new people will have even more harder times getting gold 2)Not sure what I think of that 3)Like #1, its hard for new players to get zems. When gold is more needed, players will trade items that are in WH and not used (like low mp armor/other things) will be sold for gold. To get to that point, we need something in shop/bs that is used alot, for gold. (Xstone/Mstone or Zem for 1 mill, for example) EDIT: Ah, and to add another good point: If zems are all 1/3 (and cant be 2/3 of 3/3), people with mass item that get lots of EK's ALSO need to go hunt for their zems if they dont get them anymore by killing enemy. This means MORE hunting wyvs/drags, and more chance for new people to join them on a hunt! And theeeeeeeeeen, new people get more chance to get zems aswell! and then they can ALSO buy some low armors with it!

The problem is that there isnt a main way to pay ingame (like gold). Since gold isnt worth a thing, it now is zems/mstone/xstone. Probably with an amount of those, you can buy it (if the player is interested in upgrading/or trading the stones/zems for something else). Its just that people always want something they can use, and not just another item sitting in WH. I know it sucks, but not much to do about it ..

Im from the Netherlands and my ping is around 180, like RUTH has. I also bump alot, and sometimes a short lag spike, but not often.

I think dk15 crits should be increased a bit I don't pretend to get 120 dmg per hit. Then a helm needs 52 str to be equipped and mages normally use 40 str. Let me tell you, for my taste helm is very bad looking ;) "Normally" yes, but it's called different builds, has both pro's and con's.

With high FPS I think you cast faster then having low fps (60 with angel bug) ? Maybe that is what people mean.
