Actualy yes you can fight big mobs with 50 dex and a decent str just like you can take them on using an outstanding dex and a low str.
the thing is the lower your dex the easier it is for those same monsters to fly you with every hit, your str dont matter on that and at a low dex your a ping pong if caught between to ettins.

Here is what I Know
1. Server is professionly hosted Lorraine Pays for the server and if she had stopped paying the server would have gone done ergo since server is still running and we still have forums then she is still paying! Ergo if she is still paying she is still interested in this community.
2. Lorraine has alot on her plate and is in a place where she can not be online alot if any, (I have her on my msn and she aint logged in for the last 3 weeks last time I talked to her she mentioned a move so I am assuming that is what is going on with her)
3. Scat, Lorraine, and farjat are the ones with admin access thus the only three who can do anything about an update, Scat who knows what is going on with him, Lorraine is in a move but still paying for the server, and Farjat has his own pet project and has forsaken us from all appearances, As far as I understand if there was an update it was suppose to be applied by Farjat given to him by lorraine, when lorraine finishes moving and comes back active we may see a major shake up in the whole ball of wax.
Keep the faith the server is still being payed for and is still here

Hmm though that covered only the damage aspect of those spells not the secondary effect.

twist the scroll dont work when your in enemy town,
all you have to do is para and not waste time pfa. remember pfm dont protect all of blizzard and dont stop metior or earthworm stamina drain nor does it protect against armor break.

History: The Human slave population of Druncnian city for the longest time belived that the Shae who ruled the town to be Gods, When the Dark god Abbadon Dropped the Glaicer ontop of the extinct volcano that Druncnian City was built in the Shae sought to escape by cracking the crust of the crater, This did not work well for those who lived their lives in the city, for the glacier that was acting as a cap over the town melted flooding the town and killed all those who did not make it into the volcano or to the snow encusted paths down the mountain. Escaping the town with the Man she called Uncle Vlad though he bore no relation he himself being half Shae she was able to make it to the icebound lands furhter down the mountian, It was there in the blizzard that she lost track of her uncle the only gaurdian she had growing up, and her mentor in combat skills.
Bloodtears found her way to Aresden where she moved in but in all honestly was not welcomed. This enraged her young sensibilites mixed with the freedom she suddenly found no longer being a slave to the Shae. The combat skills her uncle had taught her Blossomed in a shower of blood from any who stood in her way, Aresden or Elvine Alike. After some time Bloodtears turned her attention to the More difficult monsters in the game and she started hunting demons for the fun of it.
As she progressed she started attacking bigger and bigger monsters. That is when she Ran into those who were damned. Instead of attacking her they helped her slay monsters, not since she had lost her uncle in the blizzard did Bloodtears feel accepted, At the time of the casting of the Twisted Time spell that killed everyone and returned them to as they were children Bloodtears found the decendants of the Damned and Joined with them in elvine... But the draw of hunting monsters still draws her and she can be found in areas where players rarely go.

It has been said he took his name from that of a plane hopping mage, others state he was the plain hopping mage that made others famous.
What is known is if you need help and ask Khelben is not shy about helping by teaching you how to do something.

Ok folks the characters here are more then just a collection of stats they have personality.
even those that are played by the same person the diffrent faces have diffrent motives and hopes.
Expose as much or as little about your characters as you want, if you got art for them post it.

While A much needed reboot would help alot there is a small quick fix for this.
Long ago I learn the easiest way to lag a map was go over the max items value for the map, now that max items setting is gotten by the design of the map vs the monsters on the map vs the items the map has to track plus any maps that are shared on that port/server/box.
(like elvine and all the shops and the d1 and farm is all one connection and so forth)
Clean up the map and get the monster count below the limit the map speeds up
that means pick up the litter and food it or sell it.
go kill mass monsters.
those things will help reduce lag.

it hit me when I had the vanishing seed bag that bumped me, why not use it becuase you can target seed bags you dont have to get with in crit range to drop them. and why oh why was farming given to mages if not to make a para 1000% times stronger after all it takes alot to weed one of those seeds out.

you cant walk though a seed and they take alot of a bit to kill
why hasnt anyone tried this tactic yet
1) see big bad enemy in town
2) lure enemy to land you can farm on
3) para him
4) surround him with seeds which would box the guy in.
5)pfa or let his pfm run out
6) unleash magical heck on him...

They have alot of things to try and configure,
First off is the lv limit that is in the main source of the world server, which means they will have to take the gate and world server down at the same time to get that alteration in.
Next the xp in most free servers is based on the npc table as a multiplier this multiplier is server wide thus compounds issues with trying to guide players into diffrent areas a unilateral raise of xp would not service the game since then the individual xp of the monsters in the tables would have to be adusted for the change of the over all multiplier (5 levels off a single slime is insane) I am wagering Lorraine is looking into how to move the xp to a per map mulitiplier which would have to be tested on her home server and the other admins home admins first. (assuming farjat and sexy ment that the home test servers got installed this week we can honestly expect to see the change in approx a month on the pub server)
There are other things in the works like how to implent majestics correctly at the 180, and how and if dk armor will resurface I dont think it will be the way it was in neme 1, and of course the readdition of angels, which makes sence for them to be actively testing these items on their own systems first.
That would make the most sence on how to protect an investment they are making in paying for a server.
I also forsee the admins thinking of some worth while things coming.
Trust in the admins they are working on things...

Interesting,
Of course everytime an updater comes out I delete my map, contents, sound, font, and pixle files just to see what the updater does.
noticeable changes since I did it.
the Warehouse no longer is stoned, the nemesis is not sprayed on the walls.
The monument to long dead heroes is removed from the shop.
(still got to check the bleeding ilse for what I think is happening there)
(also got to reread the contents files and compair to see what was added or taken out.)
