    There is a tangible link to luck, This I will not be shareing those who know it use it I can hint at it for you. What is the biggest diffrence between higher level and a newbie other then level... think of the % of diffrence and you will have part of the formula.

    g. Equilibrium The Grand Master awoke to find the balance was swinging erratically and the world was in disarray. Marshaling all his power and ability the Grand Master pulled the gods and the humans all to the center city Equilibrium. Not realizing the Grand Master had it hand in the withdraw the nemesis marshaled all its forces the demons, the lost races, the monsters descended from the magic of the Shae, and the fallen bodies reanimated against the center city. The Grand Master had laid a trap sending all the humans to the future to be born again in safety while the gods were to lure the nemesis into the center of the city. The plan worked the nemesis and his four elemental fiends had entered into the center and the trap was sprung sealing the nemesis deep under the city with his fiends. This caused the city to become an unlivable place for humans so the Grand Master in its wisdom had sealed Equilibrium completely from mortals. The Grand Master then finding the eight gods were stuck in mortal form scattered them to their towns their followers were from. Thus creating four unique zones with two gods a piece. The Grand Master thinking this was for the best set wards up so none of the four sections could come back together until each pair of gods had found a way to destroy their shade, A shade is the elemental fiend the part of the fiend that was created in the location where it was bound to the world, that still inhabited their section of the world. To aid and guide the humans into being able to do that the Grand Master divided its power among some of the mortals thus giving them the most basic abilities of the grand master itself. To this day humans can see these blessed few who have the title [GM] appended to their name. h. The Darkness arrives The Nemesis was not idle during this time for it created a way for it to escape, it had the full power of the four fiends and while trapped it knew of the shades of the elements and though them was able to start a plan to escape. i. The East towns The Towns on the east side of the equilibrium were Elvine and Aseden, The twin gods Eldinel and arisen were their gods. For some time there was peace between these two towns. The gods in that peace time set about trying to locate and destroy the fiend in their area. But with the absence of their gods that peace was shattered when the followers of Eldinel turned on the followers of Ariesn.

    B. Birth of the Races When the [GM] Created the races there was four templates he had, balanced, agile, strong, and magical. Stating with the basics the [GM] made the first race with no strength or weakness and it was good, he made them both male and female giving advantage to neither and it was good. The first race was given the shortest life span an a high reproductive ability the main reason for this was the [GM] wanted to see if the newly formed world could sustain the life form that was made Thus Humans were made. Out of the First race the other three races were drawn the next race to be drawn out was the stout Dwarves, built to be rock solid this race could stand the harsher lands where the humans could barely go. The next Race was the Elven folk, thin and light the Elves were the swiftest of the races meant to travel the roads with messages and agile enough to avoid danger. The final race drawn out of the humans was the Shae, the Shae were the masters of magic having a more direct link to the elements then humans they became the keepers of knowledge and collectors of mysterious power. The three later races were granted longer life spans in exchange for a lower reproductive rate, this was to ensure that the balance had been kept to where the most neutral and influence of the races the humans retained main control of keeping the balance in motion. After the fourth race was made the [GM] saw it and it was good. C. First paradise The Four Races of men were placed on the world and were told to be fruitful and find their place. The races made thirteen great cities across the world these cities were their homes and communication and trade flourished. There were no monsters so to say just a wild animal or two. The center city of the world was a place where everything was held in balance and all eight gods were worshiped with out hesitation. The eight surrounding cities were each dedicated to a single god this was to be how the gods held and built their influence after all the god who had the bigger influence was the one to tip the balance in his or her favor. The Final four cities were the furthest from the center each held power over an element and its citizens would master that element in all its forms. And life was good. D. The race wars As with any society there comes a time when the needs of the majority outweigh the needs of the few, yet those few find themselves being out cast due to those needs, this is what had happened to the dwarves, elves and Shae. The secondary races were starting to be discriminated against by the humans and the ugly specters of racism, bigotry, and hatred had started planting their seeds in the hearts of all men. As the dissention grew the other races realized although individually each race was lesser in number to the humans together they stood about even in numbers. The races left the Center city for the four outskirt cities and drove those humans living on the outskirts in toward the center. Thus the first race wars began. The Shae with their mystical powers altered some of the dwarves and elves into monstrous versions of their races thus creating the orcs and the trolls, the orcs and trolls had massively shortened life spans due to the magic involved in the first generation of them thus by the rules of the [GM] those beings with shorter life spans will always reproduce faster then those with longer. It was not long before the humans were driven out of their eight cities. This led the humans to making weapons to fight the orcs and the trolls the descendants of their one time brother races. The Shae not to be thwarted so easily had again twisted their spells bringing the very ground to life creating golems out of the dirt and the rocks. Humans in response developed armor to protect their people from being crushed by the monsters of the Shae. Finding them selves thwarted again the Shae captured some humans and twisted them into giant mockeries of what they use to be, thus the giants the ogres and the ettins were born. The humans fought back and with the backing of their gods powers were able to hold the monsters at bay. So the Shae again with their magic brought the very plants the humans used for food alive thus causing the creation of the giant plants and the carnivorous plants. Humans adapted to this new threat easily, so the Shae continued their onslaught and started twisting their own race creating a strong race with command of magic thus the Cyclops was born, also the Shae twisted the most loyal of animals the wolves into mockeries of the humans as an other attempt to control the humans. Humans still were able to with hold from the attack of the twisted races. E. The Prime Event The Shae infuriated in all their efforts to stop human aggression and wanting to see the humans pay for their crimes decided to do the ultimate thing, since the humans power came straight from the gods and not the elements the Shae worked out a spell of such a dreadful nature, until this spell was cast the gods themselves did not have physical forms and were not subject to human feelings. The Shae created a spell to bind all eight gods in human form so they could be destroyed. The spell had an effect the Shae had not anticipated for it opened a rift that allowed the balance to sing over its own focal point, when the balance swung that way it slammed into the sleeping Grand Master, splintering off a fraction of the Grand Master?s power, this power gained its own mind and became the Nemesis. The nemesis brought with it demons and other monsters of all types some so alien that few would recognize them and others so deadly that the Shae were not able to stand up to the might of the monsters, the races that had waged war on the humans had found themselves besieged by this alien army. The dwarves and elves along with the Shae fell not to human hands but to those of the nemesis which was now freed upon the world. F. The war of the Gods. The gods finding themselves trapped in mortal bodies rallied the humans into action against the new onslaught that the humans faced. But the nemesis who had conquered the Shae twisting them into the liche and the frosts had also found a way to bind and twist the four elemental fiends to its bidding. This war raged for near a thousand years.

    I am honestly kinda likeing the low xp the thing that I forsee hurting things is the level 140 cap which really cuts out most of the higher end of the game. aka angels, quests for dk armor, and the challenge of trying to conqure the appoc maps. The lower xp gives more time to ek at the good levels better run on the quests... and of course makes the game feel like it can last longer, though the grind is something that grates some players. that can be fixed by the admins by adding more quests, higher xp maps and such. Over all now is a great time to get in on the server it can only get better from here.

    Enjoy the 1 contrib spy quest while ye can, they are always a perfect excuse to go eking. go do your quest then go try to ek. look at it as a 2 for 1 deal.

    scan is a spell in other rpgs, dont know any hb servers with it but it sounds like a good idea for a low level spell when you think about it... may hap help fill the almost empty circle I . I defently will think about adding it to my wish list.

    Hmm makes me wonder if the guys stats and damages are normal do certian monsters have for lack of a better phrase alregies to certian weapons... a lesser weapon then the flam causes a killing blow to certian monsters... had an idea like that once where a monster would take damage and soak it like a fiend with the big weapons and fold when hit with a dagger, or would soak blizzards like no tommarow and crumple with a magic missile. But I dont think that weak strike monsters are programed here yet. Think it is time to test a falchon/flamurge combo.

    Yes And No I personaly belive the xp would be fine at x1 with a progressive map multiplyer and here is how this would work. begginer zone x1 elvine/ares farm x2 elvine/ares city/promise land/ noob dungeon/ bx x3 ares D1/elvien d1/ midlands/death valley/ eter*spam* field x4 both gardens/ death valley/ silent woods/ toh1/ icebound/ d2 x5 d3/toh2/duricain city x6 d4/toh3/infernia x7 maze x8 procellia x9 abbadon x10 if the maps the further removed from the cities had the higher xp this would encourage people to get out alot more often. thus great battles would be more prone to happen away from the cities, giving the newbies who come in a small mesure of peace that was missing in nem 1. then also revamp the quest system so if you do the quests it is higher experiance for the quest monsters while on the quest aka trolls in garden, trolls would be worth x5 off quest but on quest they would be worth x10 this would cover the whole mess with high verses low experiance and would encourage exploreing the unused maps more often. just my 2 cents take it or leave it.

  17. Beginner zone. Quests given in this map by the The old man Npc Put near the start of the Game. Random Quest from the 5. listed. 1. Kill 10 slime (1) contrib 2. Go to location 1 (1) contrib 3. Talk to the gaurds. (1) contrib 4. Bring 10 slime jellies to old man. (1) contrib 5. Go to location 2 (1) contrib. Max Contrib for map 5. Lv Restrictions for Map 1 though 19. Notes. These 5 Contrib would be the easiest to over look but Would get players use to talking to the NPC's for quests Newbies would do best to learn they can talk to NPCs before hitting a town... After the 5 Contrib are gathered the text for the old man and the gaurds change. (what they say can be used to move the Nemesis code plot line)(like one gaurd can talk about the forums, the other can slip you a password for the first of the intros to the nemesis code, and the old man himself can hint that there is more beyond just what the players see in the game. This Brings them to the forums.) I will post the farms tommarrow. Khelben

    I personaly liked it when we had three choices of skins for the forum. as for the gold thing, I think it was a matter of way too many were complaining about it becuase other drops were effected severly while that was happening, that I belive is still being worked on.

    the ruby effects damage. that is why I picked that the whole idea is as much damage as you can shove down as quick as possible. The DK set will cover for approx 15 hits and if you add super pots you can heal out those 15 with one or two chuggs with out chugging a whole bag at once

    well you gave the clues on how to do the damage with the what was it +3 manu bbh you had that day. if the perfect bbh was made the +10 200% completion bbh was made mixed with a 100% magic Ruby, abbadon neck, and abbadon ring/demon ring/ogre ring. Suplement the regular red pots with Super Red pots. Armor being the current DK set. ANd tears able to zerk again. I may just pull it off.
