    Today an emergency update was made due to the occurrence of bugged gold. Along with this bug being fixed, we also made changes as following: Canged: Revisited damage display during paralyze: weapon stun ratios are now taken into account. Changed: MP and SP are now fully restored when restarting/reviving upon death. Fixed: Display bug in the time left for buffs lasting over 32767 (short.max) seconds. Fixed: Stackable items given to NPCs didn't transfer correctly (and caused split-stacks when withdrawing from WH). - If you still have a split stack, drop it on the floor and pick up again to fix it. Fixed: If someone logs out near you, you could not walk onto that spot.

    Today we're taking a big step forward in the development of a better, faster and smoother Nemesis! With the new networking code deployment of today we want to give everyone the opportunity to experience the improvements firsthand. We have promised a PvP Event, and we will hold this event in the near future! - We want to give the new update some time to recover population before we dive into a PvP Event :) We've also added in some other convenience stuff and bug fixed in this patch. Patch Notes: * Added: Network improvements (using UDP through instead of TCP for playing) -> For those who use a proxy server to play, also proxy UDP ports! * Added: /traderep+ and /traderep- command to safely trade rep with other players without a risk of being scammed. (trade must occur within 60 seconds) * Added: Aplocalypse Boss monster (aka Abaddon) has gained immunity to Protection spells. * Added: Damage AddUp - damage dealt within 300ms of eachother is added up (this'll show total dmg of multi-hit spells like Blizzard, ESW, MMM, etc...) * Added: Damage AddUp displays in Orange to distinguish it from normal damage. * Added: Damage AddUp "Critical!" displays when total damage is over 250 (single damage critical still has threshold of 128). * Fixed: Protection spells couldn't be casted on friendly players when PvP is disabled. * Fixed: Drop modifier of summon owner didn't get applied for Crusade Summons. * Fixed: Crusade Summons didn't properly listen to player commands (/tgt, /hold, etc...) * Fixed: Damage above 40 (Damage-Move aka "Fly damage") didn't show up when paralyzed.

    Yes, because it was a bug which didn't display damage... But we (a couple of player testers and me) have been conducting tests in the test server regarding paralyze and there will be a change in this at the next update. In the next update the weapon stun rates will be taken into account, meaning that during paralyze certain weapons have less chance to stun so mages should be able to finish their casts occasionally (depending on how hard they're being stunned).

    Same here, I look forward making them :) The last 2 (salvaging & enchanting) bring a whole new aspect to obtaining high statted armors making the low statted ones valueable (for either training purposes or to gather a lot of low statted to upgrade higher) Currently the design documents on these 2 skills are fairly well shaped, the basic upgrading and success rate charts are made, so it basically comes down to interfacing (which I do on the spot during development rather than beforehand) and the actual coding to make it happen :D But first we plan to finish PvP Tournaments, at the time of writing they're close to leaving test phase and go live.

    Annoying Thing

    Once you launch the auto updater and click start game the auto updater will validate your game files (and update if needed). When the validation is success, the auto updater shakes hands with the server (it tells server "this client is OK to play" aka not cheating, and has latest files). The moment it shakes hands, the updater will launch the client for you. From that moment you have 5 minutes to login. If you don't login within 5 minutes you will get the invalid handshake message. This 5 minutes is a security measure to ensure you're not altering the game files and to ensure that when you do decide to login, that you still have the latest files loaded. P.S. A similar mechanic is applied when switching characters, as the client has already fully loaded the game data, the time to login again is reduced to 3 minutes.

    +40 hits break cast on para? Can White comment is this on purpose or an accidental "feature"? To be honest this was always a bug, programmers never fix it,any hit on para should break cast. In this update we fixed the fact that damage over 40 dmg was not shown when someone was paralyzed (or hold-object'ed or slept). This creates the side effect cancelling your cast because when you receive damage, you're being "stunned" and casting is cancelled. The effect of damage cancelling cast has always been present, it just becomes more apparent (annoying?) when being paralyzed.

    reputation is mainly useful for righteous and kloness items, or protecting from them. I believe a rep scroll drop doesn't really fit the storyline. I feel like Rep rewards could rather come from unique npcs who request aid in their own story/mission and reward you with Rep. A new equipment slot sounds interesting, but our graphical expansion capabilities are very limited as we don't have an artist to create new ones for us. Extending taming time and success rate items will new added in the future. Whips with higher success rate, items which extend your influence on the mobs, etc... New skills will be added and old skills will be expanded. Manufacturing will have dk items added along with a new ore, ingot and a new map to obtain them. Skinning will also be added to the game along with support items for this skill. The skill will allow you to skin a monster of its body parts. Salvaging is another skill that'll come soon, it is used to salvage items and have a chance to recover materials and stat gems from the items. Enchanting is another skill to be added, it goes hand in hand with salvaging as you recover stat gems from salvaging, you use these gems with enchanting to upgrade them to a higher stat and eventually add them again in your own items to use them.

    I don't understand thisone? when you eat guild contri scroll you reconnect??? basicly he means he need to recconect to see real actual contri. Visual update bug./ If you have CTRL+G open, it won't update. Just close dialog and re-open it... (I tested this, and contri got updated for me)

    Can you explain the bugs in detail please? What does wrong in the WH? what you mean by "disapear" ? And what's the issue with run on what? a hex? on logout? please explain, i'm confused...

    I'll need to see what I can do for thatone as the feature to enforce Bs/dk items isn't fully ready and tested yet and enforcing it by hand I won't do that as policy always cheat anyway.

    The first test results of the new Network feature is a great success! Some of the testers have posted a couple SS of their decreased ping on facebook. The feature is scheduled to go LIVE around May 24th 2014 and a BIG *censored* pvp event will be taking place ON LAUNCH DAY! More details on release date coming soon :)

    Hey folks! Recently it was brought to our attention that there is a bug in the quest rewarding system, namely with gold. After investigating the bug there was indeed a bug found which also affects any other type of "normal" item to be received from quests. We've decided to immediately patch this bug to ensure you can enjoy the game and finally get gold again from quests! Patch Notes: - Fix: Normal Items didn't get rewarded from quests (missing item type)

    I've investigated the quest, nothing wrong on config. Checked the code and there appears to be a bug in quest rewarding. This bug has been resolved in the patch of today (27-04-2014)

    Before completing one, can you try to drop your current gold pile, then complete it (so you get a FRESH gold pile from the quest) and then pickup your old gold pile from the floor? (And report back with what you found)

    ok yes, i understand exp works and gold doesn't. Fundementally those 2 (gold & items vs exp) are different in the code base. Possibly the quest gives out bugged gold due to configuration error. So to determine if that's actually the issue, I need the name of the quest that's giving you bugged gold (or no gold at all?)
