    Some Info On Little Updates During Weekend

    People abused the negative gold bug to make a ton of gold to purchase a ton of tickets which at one point granted some players illigaly obtained items suck as a MFS manual and a Sword of Medusa aswell as some other items. All those illigaly obtained items were removed ATONCE when discovered, all the abusers were banned for abusing the negative gold bug to obtain infinite gold to purchase infinite tickets and possibly get good items. Even more, after tickets were disabled due to the negative gold bug, people kept abusing it to obtain gold and trade with other players for zems and stones. Therefore we combined the gold stacks as calu mentioned aswell as lowered the gold drop rate to give more value to gold.

    are u sure ?? stronger ?? make pvp vs some abh or gbh ... mage strip like a hell .. War with GBH... give the mage a rare spell then... ESW... HELL FIRE... fight again, ESW > GBH ofc GBH > mage without rares, you make it unbalanced from the start already, obviously the lesser geared will lose. On-topic again: We never considered adding them to the drop list, if i'm correct they don't drop in the original HB either.

    Protection From Magic

    no, it doesn't depend on your mag. Some spells that can't hit trough PFM are just coded that way, which means that PFM works like an absolute protection, it is impossible to hit trough PFM with that spell. Other spells, mainly damage spells, that hit trough PFM will have their damage cut by 50%, this is a 50% pure absorption of magic damage, the element of the spell doesn't matter, it's always 50% reduction. Any spell, or part of the AoE damage of a spell is attempted to be resisted, when the hit ratio of such a single spell-effect (where e.g. blizzard has many, one for each spot it hits in its linear line + additional ones as expanding AoE effect) below 1000 will never hit trough PFM. That's why for example a magic missile will most likely never hit your target trough PFM, even fireball tends to miss sometimes, eventhough it is AoE damage. In the Abaddon map PFM cuts damage by 50%. In the Dragonia map, PFM cuts hitting probability of the zone-effects by 50%, where AMP cuts them by 75%.

    i remembered something like "bonus every every 2 str"... anyway I checked sources and can confirm this: 1 str = +0,002% bonus damage. -> 200 str = 0,4% -> 190 str = 0,38% bonus. it's bonus directly applied after your damage dice was rolled.

    You get +1 damage every 2 strength if I remember correctly (unconfirmed as I don't have src available here to verify). so having 190 or 192 does make a difference. even having 191 makes a difference as only the finale calculation is rounded to a proper damage number, so a 0,5 damage can be added and used during calculations.

    PFM adds a specific amount of magic resistance, that's why some spells hit less frequent against PFM'ed players. Same way GDS & DS add DR for the player.

    Switching 2 guilds would be a better idea. Move FOR EXAMPLE hwarang guild to aresden so when they're on, there's also elvines on to fight against and visa versa. But at the same time, when currently (without any moving) the majority of ares is on, there's no elvs to be found (cuz they sleep/afk), so moving one active aresden guild to elvine, will make it so there is an active elvine guild while aresden is awake. This "switching" would basically mix up the town timezones again resulting in a constant fight as both towns got people online to fight at any time they'd play.

    I'd like to see the Elvine side too. For EF i got next suggestion/comment: - Change top 4 pits as next: (left to right) scorpion, zombie, skeleton and center-right rudolphs. It orders them more properly by difficulty/annoyance to kill. For SW i got next suggestion/comment: - Unicorn, mt-giant & ettin pit won't happen -> the only way they'll be in a "pit" is when the pit covers the ENTIRE map, meaning they'll ROAM the map instead of being packed in a pit. (Same as with ML, there's a pit of 3 ettins in ML which covers the ENTIRE ml map, so the 3 ettins roam ML basically, but makes it so there is ALWAYS 3 ettins in ML to be found, no matter what.

    For making items (= NO materials) the completion % is determined by the completion % of all the materials used. For making materials, next formula is applied to determine the completion %: Completion % = (Player Skill Level / 2) + (Random Value Between 0 and (Player Skill Level / 2)) -> 100% manufacturing: 100 / 2 + Rand(0, (100 / 2)) = 50 + Rand(0, 50) -> 50~100% completion -> 80% manufacturing: 80 / 2 + Rand(0, (80 / 2)) = 40 + Rand(0, 40) -> 40~80% completion

    well, to make the server better imo, would b like 5 years ago, exp 1, hard drop as fack! not easy modes like we got today ... like crops to get skills, when i played, i had to PK my self to get staff attack 100% in afk mode. i mean, i had to turnon 2 computers, log my mage in one, my warrior in other and hit him till he dies, to get that facking staff 100% now, u guys got the crops ... this server is getting fruit ... :/ too easy ... I know what you mean, I play HB since Int Open Beta, but the conditions are different now, for example, it's easier to get a SB drop than making a manu 100%, blizzard overpowered cause there are hardly any ip or ie necks old players with MA sets go great, but it's hard for new users without items, while in HB USA, IE swords used to be dropped 1 in 10 maybe 15 tws, while here there are less IE swords than SBs :S IE sword vs SB rate would be as you say if people would actually take the effort to hunt TW's... but they don't... they decide to solo hunt frosts 24/7 which brings them SB eventually... due to that behavior, frosts have been killed in a ratio so high compared to TWs that ofc there are more SB than IE swords... such things occur when people have a lack of effort to do something. Same thing comparing manu'ing to obtaining a SB... the lack of effort.

    All fighting related skills would be increased in training speed. Skills NOT to be increase in training speed: - Fishing - Alchemy - Manufacturing - Mining - Farming - Taming - Pretend Corpse The increase that is planned is the change in formula, where currently the formula changes (to make it harder) after 50% of the skill is trained. For the skills not mentioned in the above list, the formula from 50%- would be extended to 50%+ resulting in a much faster skill training then ever before.

    Not a bad idea, I would add weapons to it :P btw, I still think that it's crazy hard, again as I said on the first post, I know that the idea of manufacturing IS to be a hard getting skill, but should be achievable, the way it is now I think it's impossible unless you don't work and have the time to play at least 8 hours a day, ull get it in something like... A YEAR. It's because there is no market for it right now. There is no market to purchase ores to continue manu'ing 24/7. If there would be an ore market (which will come with manu'able DK sets), manu'ers would waste less or even no time mining ores. Besides that, there would also be a manufacturing market, where high manu'ers would purchase low manu'ed ores from other manu'ers, wasting less time to first make coal to super coal to then process it to ultra coal etc etc... manu'ers would directly buy the exact ingredients they need from others. I think both markets would result in a significant reduced amount of time for manu'ing.

    Here's another idea of myself: Instead of making it easier, giving more successrate, less processing time, more chance for 100% bars etc etc... I would rather make it WORTH more becomming 100% manufacturing, so the effort equals the reward. Right now the reward is 200% BBH's and 200% Knight Sets... Increasing the reward will make it worth all the effort, my idea is to make DK Sets manufactureable, which would result in stronger DK sets with more endurance and more defense. The casual DK set would still be available at 180 for contri, but manufacturing your own set would be much better as it is alot stronger than the casual dk set. Along with the idea of manu'able DK sets, I would add 1 new ore to be mined and 1 new bar to be manu'ed... the Dark Ore and Dark Ingot would make their way into helbreath, an ancient ore found deep inside the Middleland Mines Level 2, where Crayfish roam below the Ice Bound, where Turtles protect the Ancient Rocks and where Elite Stone and Clay Golems are lurking around the corner to slay any Humans who attempt to mine their ores.

    Hawarang & Arg schedule don't match even close to eachother. Hawarang ends at 12 AM, yours starts at 3 PM... it is impossible to match that together in an appopriate match. I can understand that 6 AM schedule is bad for you, as it is WAY early then your mentioned online time. For hawarang, 6 AM is only 1h earlier then their mentioned time. I'll try to take times better in account for the re-schedule, but then we'll see a single team fight 2 or 3 matches in a row instead of having a break inbetween matches.

    In the schedule of round 2, each team fights each other team once. It gives the teams the opportunity to score "points", each victory is worth one point. As each team fights each other team, up to 3 points can be won as a maximum. The team with the least points becomes 4th place in the event. The other 3 remaining teams progress to the next round, regardless of their score. They faught to stay in the tournament and did well. The next round the 3 remaining teams fight eachother once again, each team can win up to 2 points (= 2 victories). Once again, the team with the least points will become 3rd in the event and win the price for 3rd place. The remaining 2 teams progress to the next round, ragardless of their score. they faught to stay in the tournament and did well. The last round the 2 remaining teams battle eachother in multiple fights untill either teams scores 2 points (= victories) more then the other team. Winning TWICE is required to win the entire event ! Atleast 2 fights will take place (repairing inbetween allowed ofc !). If in any of the fist 2 explained rounds occur an equal amount of points, those teams who have scored equally will fight eachother again untill 1 point difference is made and one team scores "last" place of that round. If in the last round the teams score equally (1 point each) after 2 matches, more matches will be faught untill either team scored 2 points more then the other team.

    Huh? Where did you get that number? paypal charges a shitload for everything, every transaction, setup costs for business account, monthly recurring fees/payments that must be made to use their services... it would for sure end up 2000$ a year... starting-up a paypal business initially costs you 150~300$ if i'm correct, so it isn't a decision you make just now, there must be a plan to recover costs obviously, a business plan.

    Nemesis is doing very good if you compare it to other servers... Some servers changed owner 3 times already, resetted 2 times or got flooded by massive items sold for too cheap prices (= prices equal or below cash market place) by the owners. Towns tend to complain by unbalance, but there is no unbalance, it's a time zone difference. When aresden sleeps, elvine is online... and visa versa... This was sort of compensated not long ago by moving some elvines to aresden, so aresden would get more active, geared players in their town when elvine is online.

    We will not bring back angels fps "boost". You see it as a boost, code-wise is was coded as a BUG, it's just a "positive" bug for some people, but code-wise this was a terrible bug that came from poor coding and the lack of understanding the code of helbreath. The classic towns... I don't know, it's possible to return just by disabling a single line of code, yet I don't have trouble (besides orientation) of playing in these maps, which are also originally korean... About the money, we will not disclose how much we've earned, but we can say we've spent the money earned on server protection, the initial cost of upgrading from 100 mbps to 1 gps and recently to 2 gbps aswell as back-up plans, new hardware and other required protection such as cisco guard etc to protect against attackers. EDIT: HB doesn't run on macbooks... it's WINDOWS ONLY... you can still run a virtualbox with windows in there to play.
