Bloodhound 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2011 (edited) Read a bit about it but not sure so thought I'd ask here. :/ Basically just wondering what affects your final gem %. From what I've read, for example, 90%+90%+90%+mstone = the same probabilty if you used wares 100%+100%+100%+ mstone? If not, then will using all 100% wares guarantee a certain final %? Hope this makes sense! :P Thanks. Edited February 16, 2011 by Bloodhound
breakM 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2011 (edited) AVG (Average) of ingredients purity multiplied by 0.8 (% + % + % + Mstone (always 100%) /4) * 0.8 = Gem % ((90% + 94% + 97% + 100%) / 4) * 0.8 = (381 / 4) * 0.8 = 95.25 * 0.8 = 76.2 (76%) Your gem will be 76%. Thats how it used to work by default. Using this formula, you can only make 80% gems, and from 80% to 100% is pure luck. Im not sure it works the same way here, i think it does. And it makes sense, otherwise doing 100% gems would be very easy. Edited February 16, 2011 by vazkitoo
