IRONCLAD 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2010 I reckon we can handle alot more monsters in some of our pits than there are at the moment, especially the ones that deal out low damage. It would surely make these pits more enjoyable to hunt in, as it reduces the wait time for monsters to repawn. Gamers would also benefit from higher levels of experience points, plus it's great for those of us who practise alchemy ^_^
Jos 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2010 I agree completely, it would be nice to have more mobs in pits (especially in the farm area where it doesn't have much effect on drops or exp), like ants, slimes, snakes, etc.
~Hunter[GM] 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2010 sorry guys but messing with the spawn rates, has far reaching consequences. These files are like spaghetti....and changing spawn rates in a pit, can mess up something we would never anticipate....such as the % effectiveness of hit prob on all weapons. Every Action = REaction and with these files it is just too dangerous for us to change things, haphazardly. Go to Silent Woods, Death Valley,. the garden....those pits are hopping.
