Svafnir 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2009 MA absorbs magical damage. You still get hit the same amount of times as if dk on, but the damage reduces. MR makes magic attacks to miss. The damage isn't reduced but u get less amount of hits. IMO, high MR > high MA. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Vampyr 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2009 Yeah MA absorbs the damage into the armor, with each attack the endurance on the armor gets reduced. You get hit everytime, but it will be less damage. MR avoids the attack all together, but if you do get hit it will hurt. MA is easier to make a good set and isnt as expensive, however breaks easier. MR is much more expensive for a decent set (and you really need around 250% total for it to be successful) however doesnt break as easy which means it lasts a long time. I personally use MA because its easier to find and is much easier to make a good set however a GOOD MR set is superior. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
