    on topic: i fight in sades because it is exciting to get the damage boost and see how many you can kill, how much base you can build, atc...

    its not about wining its about playing to me

    and hunting during sades is ok, i dont mind

    you can only kill so many tw's anyway, its not even worth it

    all the other stuff is just a bonus

    like gaucho and vampyr said, its ares vs elv, whoever wins is pr0zer


  2. He's saying that they only do damage if they manage to freeze you. Since they cannot freeze you, they cannot do damage to you.

     

    Oh man people are really dense.

    And HE'S saying that since they only damage you if they manage to freeze you, they are bugged and need fixing.

    Yeah - I'm dense alright.

     

    Even though that's how it's always been at nemesis, I don't know if it's a bug or not because I haven't played HBUSA/INT in so long.

     

    Not like that matters, we're not USA/INT. We do things different.


  3. Well, Ice Golems use a magic ice elemental based spin attack. AMP or a really high MR set will block their damage completely.

     

    We know that IE Necks absorb 50% of the damage from ice magic attacks and prevent freezing 100%.

    We know that Ice Protect necks absorb 25% of the damage from ice magic attacks and prevent freezing 50%.

     

    I believe the Ice Golem pit was intended for those with AMP, such as mages, amp warriors, or a mage/warrior party.

     

    I do not believe that those with IE necks should be able to train uninhibited by IGs since IE necks supposedly block 50% of ice based attacks, not 100%. Instead, those with IE necks should still be taking 50% damage.

     

    What does everyone think?

     

    I think you need to get yourself an IE necky :lol:

     

     

    u get dmg only when u freeze, since u won't freeze, no dmg will come

    WOW GUYS WELCOME TO HELBREATH! EVERYTHING ISNT FAIR!

    as far as ig pit goes, farjat, i would love it if you kept it. It has been a great source of exp to us all, not too mention a great place to ek.

    as for the second drop on an ig? mmm, i dont care, delete it or make it even harder to get...


  5. as afar as skills are copncerned, i think that the shield bash skill could be acquired into the game.

    Set it as a 50-50% chance of a hit.

    Maybe make the shield have certain other attributes like +5 to shield-bash as a max or something.

     

    Also, i second wuta's idea for different battle mage spells.

    It wouldnt be too hard to incorporate graphics and make the damage.

    Set it as a rare drop from a tigerworm or something.

     

    Also, different classes.

    Maybe make an archery class?

    I dont know how hard that would be, but your dex would be the main factor of hitting probability and dmg, like normal, however, put a handicap on things like hammer, sword, and axe, and isntead put dmg+ into the archery.

     

    I second the elemental skill resistance, like fire, ice, lightning, and earth (Esw and blizz can be nasty with no pfmor amp!)

     

    And Maybe have Mass amp as a possibility for a drop? hat would be great! And maybe a spell that is greater than Great Heal? Possibly like a mass heal?

     

    Tailoring, i second that, and taming, i second that as well, but limit the taming skill to a helclaw, because anything higher than that would be ridiculous.

     

    As for crafting, it should be a skill because at the end of the 100% if you get the right materials, you can make certain neclaces.

    i.e. DM+1,DF10,RM10, and maybe rings like ruby, and saphire ring.

    It would have to include certain mining materials like a dm+1 would need a diamond, and the DF10 and Saphire ring would need a saphire. And to make them you would need an m or an xstone depending.

    It wouldnt be cheap, but it would be worth it to have!

     

    To finish, i like the sleeping idea, and it would have to be a rare drop.

     

     

    All of these manuals can be rare drops. Hopefully we can get more ppl on, hunt more, and get some great stuff in the meantime!


  6. Well, what i have to say is this...

    I have been playing on nemesis2 since the x1 exp.

    And, since i have been playing for such a long time, you get to know ppl, get to know what they have, and if something new gets on server, you know right away.

    OK

    Since the x25 exp change, im not saying its bad, I love the exp now.

    It is excellent.

    But also, since the exp change, there has been a lot of corruption.

    I dont care about tyrones edits, he warrants them because sexy pays for the server and he dies easily enough anyway.

    But, now its gonna get controversial.

    Just because friends come back to the server, ask for items, ask for special favors, etc... Doesn't mean you should give them.

    Honesly.

    I also know how easy it is to change the droprate, and then change it again.

    I am not pointing fingers, i am not blaming anyone.

    I am remaining neutral, and even staying neutral, I can see that there is something going on.

    Between the Elvine beginner tp being closed, the drops, the edits, the hacks..

    I know that this is from me playing from the elvine side that makes me a little biased, regardless.

    I am sure that if elvine had HALF the items the ares does (legitimately) ares would not be playing.

    So, in reflection, I honestly am torn between what to say about it.

    I know that its the gm's decision ultimately, and if they take away the items people will probably quit.

    Here is what I propose:

    Take away the merien shield (that is a god weapon)

     

    Fix the hc drops

     

    and Open the elv teleport.

     

    It's looking a little onesided favoring the aresden side...

    But on the other hand, i could just be looking at this all wrong.

    Please give it some thought.

  7. omfg no, its not the vitality, its the regen. I tested the regen on it, not the vitality-.-

    and yes, i do know the difference.

    FACK MAN

    A critical from a blood weapon should lessen the regen by 20%...

    Ok, i tested the regen first by critting twice with a barb hammer,

    60 and 79

    ok

    tested the REGEN, which was a 110

    ok, i test the bloodaxe, two crit 60+

    again, the same REGEN!

    so, either they dont work, or my test was not extensive enough.

    I tested it at least 5 or 6 times.

    Same result each time with different damages


  8. Also, i tested a new weapon i got in a trade, the BloodAxe.

    Ok, BloodAxe is a special item because it gives 20% less regens, but when i went to test, i used a bbh first. I crit with bbh twice, and then get the regens(56)

    Then, i crit with the bloodaxe, i get the same result, its like the regen dmg does not even work.

    Did you crit someone with BBh and they regenned, then you crit that same person with blood axe and they regenned again? That would not be a bug since blood weapons give additional HitProb and have the detriment of capping the user's max hp to 80% of max hp as well as capping hp regens to 80% of vitality points. Blood weapons don't handicap the opponent's vitality =.=

     

    On the other hand, if you mean you regenned to full hp while using a blood axe then yes that is a bug.

    nono, im talking they regen to full hp after two crits 60+ . 110 vit, regen -20% does not make sense. it is bugged
