  1. Omg shut up you no talent hacks. Mages do not need to be nerfed any more. Why don't we just remove their ability to cast too.

     

    well ive played bot a vit mage and a plate mage, never a dex mage.

     

    i always got pwnd on the plate mage, but have never died on the vit mage.

    pa33 targe and mshield = 11 dmg. from wars.

     

    but shielding wars vs. war makes me sad.

    Sorry I get a little pissy when people talk about making mage's lives more difficult but come on. Mages were made to be powerful because they are muc more difficult to train not our fault you people want to play on a high exp server =P

     

    The problem here is not shield% it's mages using shield 1v1 and if you are really talking about a mage evading 5+ warrs wearing tower good for him cause if you are a mage and your getting smacked by 4+ BBH DK dont mean shyt anyways. Annndddd if a mage does decide to get the dex instead of extra vit thats what like 80+ hp they are missing plus crappier regens.


  2. I am lvl 173 Warior, My Str=200,Dxt=200,Int=59 and rest is Vit,something like 106.

    I am new and when i asked everybody said "make str and dex 200" and i did, but now when i ask people their str and dex is much more low then 200. Is 200 too unnessecary, did i wasted my points, or is it good?

     

    Depends on what you have in mind as far as game play. I'm assuming the stats you mentioned also will include 25 mag which is a minimum if you have zerk. Player vs Player These stats arent great you will need a good bit more vit if you plan to fight mages and you wont need the 200 dex. Once you get some nice items then worry about fighting warrs. The 200str for BBH or atleast 182 for BH, a nice BH would be recommended if you plan on having 182 str which you can lower later if you find one because Mage DK set is tough.

     

    If you are planning on playing Player vs Monster lower str 130 is all you need once you upgrade the DK sword to +10 or so. Then you can get zerk 25-50 Mag and a ton of vit and you can train all day long without having to repot pretty much. But even with DK+15 you will have a hard time killing mages unless you have some pretty good items.

     

    I am experimenting with this myself right now. I have dropped my Warriors Dex to 182 with 200 str with 59 int and 25 mag leaves me with like 130+ for vit. Which I have noticed a huge difference compared to the 113 or whatever I use to have in training I dont really need HP pots but do run out of mana pretty quick. But I am preparing this char to be a pvp player once I get my mage Full Hero 73 to go!!!


  3. I like the idea implement this and no recall for 10 seconds and I be happy camper. This is a pvp game lets bring it back to pvp. On the other hand though if the person you are chasing can avoid taking damage for 10 secs or more, chances are he will get to a safe zone before you kill him anyway but i think we should have to make them work for it.

     

    this suggestion has no need to be honest.

     

    logging out atleast takes 10 seconds to complete.

    if you're good enough, you'll crit him in the back or hit him by some magic to prevent/cancel his logout.

     

    logging out is completly legal and I see no reason to make change to the logout precedure.

    Umm more like lets make it easier to avoid dieing. White to me this comment makes no sense. Their is not one person in this game that can keep me from logging out if I want to 1v1 I dont care how good they are.

    Secondly there have been plenty of actions that were once legal that are now considered to be illegal or frowned upon.

    The only people I can see agreeing with this are those who enjoy logging out of fights.


  4. I think it is a good idea. It would be very convenient when trying to find someone to trade with or pvp. There is always the option for those who don't like it to talk in blue all the time then. Not to mention I would love to see the Church actually having a purpose other than mass food games. As fas as the blue chat thing mentioned goes I also agree with this because I think it will help encourage more pvp and teamwork like for those in the smaller guilds gettting raped while trying to raid can invite more people. I would seriously like to hear why this is a bad idea. I think it is much more lazy to refuse to use the ~ than to log another character.

    I personally like having zerk and high vit, because I like to be able to PvM easily, and not die. 130 Str, 200 Dex, 59 Int, 30 Mag, and rest into vit make a good war build for me.

     

    I don't PVP with my war much at all, but my high vit also helps me survive being chased by mages and wars alike.

     

    Yes but are those stats good for killing aresdens?


  6. Was just curious since I have never really had a main warrior char when I make mine whats best stats for a pvp'er assuming that starting off items will be pretty basic.

  7. Same old thing has been around forever the only times drops arent jumped is when only your guild is around and sometimes still not even safe. During the warrior summon event I was knocked off two seperate drops. In my opinion if a GM is nice enough to offer to take drops you should be very happy for his help. Understand that if there is anything on the ground it is fair game. You may abide by good manners and high morale but that doesnt mean everyone else does too. Unfortunately Oldies did nothing wrong (in the eyes of admins) complete and total jerks but you only have yourself to blame for not letting Hunter help.


  8. The PA armors are removed from stacking up.

     

    it's like this:

     

    you have a certain % of chance 1 of these 4 pieces are counted to absorb damage:

    X% for Plate

    X% for Legs + Pants

    X% for Berk

    X% for Helm

     

    each of these 4 have an indevidual rate to be picked, the exact rates are NOT to be given out, nor are the exact percentages to be given out UNLESS and admin allows me to reveal this. (or does it himself.)

     

    So as I explained, 1 fo the 4 WILL be picked, and then the PA of your shield and magin sapphire will be added.

     

    your PA of your shield will ONLY be added if you SUCCEED defending yourself from the attack (your shield % determines this, at 100% you never fail the ability of PA being added !).

     

    your PA saph is ALWAYS applied.

     

     

     

    An actual example:

     

    I have these items:

    PA 100% sapphire

    PA 21% shield (100% shield attack)

    PA 9% plate

    PA 9% hoses

     

    I have aprox X% chance that EITHER my plate OR hoses will be applied, and have X% chance that my helm OR berk would be applied (which would be 0% PA !)

     

    So this means I have ALWAYS ATLEAST 21 + 100 / 10 % PA, makes 31% PA will ALWAYS happen (due to the 100% shield !)

     

    Ifyou have 50% shield, you have 50% chance you'd have the 21% PA taken in account for the discount.

     

    The sapphire will ALWAYS be applied, making you have 10% PA at ALL times.

     

     

     

    another example:

    100% PA saph

    9% PA shield (100% shield attack)

    9% PA hoses

    9% PA plate

    9% PA legs

    9% PA berk

     

    I will have 100% sure 9% PA from my armor (cuz I have all pieces the same % !) + an additional 9% from my shield (due to the 100% shield) + 10% from my saph

     

    that makes 10 + 9 + 9 = 28% PA i'd have.

     

    i really dont like either stacking,

    a war with a ma set is near impossible to kill on a mage

    while if you allow pa to stack it makes it impossible for a war to kill that char (this with a noob set)

     

    but i would like to know why the pa shields got nuked so hard.

    where did u learn to play a mage to say something like that?

    and pa isnt supposed to stack and if u really wanted it to stack

    u should ask them to make it stack then take saph rings and mshield out considering that would be like 50 to 60 pa right there with those 2 items

     

     

    saph and plat rings don't have PA

     

    an M.Shield has NO PA at all, it rather has VERY HIGH DR.

     

    and DR and PA are something DIFFERENT and it a totally DIFFERENT story.

     

    shortly explained:

     

    DR is the CHANCE to defend yan attack, and PA is the ABSORBTION applied when you FAILED to defend.

     

    If you have ALOT DR the chance to be hit is SMALL, but IF you get hit, the damage will be HIGH (cuz ya got no PA)

     

    IF you have ALOT PA the chance to be hit is LARGE, but IF you get this, the damage will be LOW (cuz ya got alot PA)

     

    Maybe I am dumb, but does this explain why my PA shield is junk now?

    When you are like... 4 or 5 mags, and want to hunt calmly, bf is a great place for wyv hunting.

     

    If you take out wyvs, then you wont find a place to hunt calmly

    lol...

  10. I understand that PA has been reset so that it doesn't stack. Soooo does that mean a PA shield no longer stacks on top of the PA of DK armor? I am confused why a shield that was pretty rare is now total crap. I can understand it being adjusted a little because a light tower seems much more rare but you dont have the added attributes so a real statted tower should be a hell of a lot more rare.

     

    While I am thinking about it why is it fair for MA to stack and not PA??
