On nemesis1 I remember an abaddonevent by farjat where both towns cooperated quite well and downed it easily and you don't even need that many ppl if it's blocked.. just mages who can keep a good rhytm with ES and it's a piece of cake. Only problem is that people just won't listen with the drops.. everyone just jumps on the corpse (maybe kick everyone who does so) oh and survivors got their XB from that event.

Name: Axe of Divine Retribution
Weapon Attributes: The weapon is an Axe class weapon, with a mere 80 endurance total. AoDR will drop from Ettins, Mountain-Giants, and Stalkers, as a rare second drop. On a 'small' monster, and in player vs. player, the weapon will do mere staff damage (1-10's). Against 'large' monsters, the weapon will have the best damage available in game. AoDR against large monsters will hit roughly between 100 - 120 berzerked normal swings, and will crit around 200 damage. AoDR will be a very costly weapon to repair (at 200,000 gold per full repair). The main use of AoDR is in Helclaw and Tigerworm hunts. When using a weapon, on a normal swing only 1 endurance is taken off. When using a CRITICAL, a weapons endurance is taken off by 2. Therefor, a full 18 crits will remove 36 endurance off AoDR. Being able to be used a mere ~2.5 times using full crits, the endurance helps make this a viable weapon without overpowering it completely.

I think ath DKsets pa and dr is somehow related to endurance. If I'm correct, therefore it's hard to balance endurance and other armor values.
Dksword damage is very nice with zerk swings and against mobs the hitting propablity is awsome. There is more than enough reason to train 128 majes. You can also use it with 200str combined with bbh. Having like 90 vit is also a disadvantage, you die more easily and if many ppl is tgting you, you will strip too.
IF every1 had 200vit dksword build with 30k endurance dkset it would be damn boring, wouldnt it? Now the problem is only bbh and if its correct that its hard to fix values of dksets, so why not just fix the stupid bbh it like I said earlier? And perhaps add the safe upgrading which I suggested.
PS. I suggest also raising the other spells but blizzard. Add more power to ews, ls, mete and mmm. Now those are just pure rubbish. Ews, needs perhaps slightly more stamina drain. LS is basically sucky damage, same as es but needs 38% more mana. Mete, 2 hitter does with 200 mag like MAX 70-80dmg, right (wtf?)? MMM is sick low dmg compared to mana usage, needs to be upgraded.
yeah i used to have dk15 on a 200 str war...i liked using it more then the bbh cuz the hitting probability kicked *censored* on enemies and the regular swing damage was better (crits were the only bad thing)...
everyone who wants dk sets at 30k endurance is just so used to playing on a high exp nem1 server that they have no perspective...
they just want an armor that will last them forever without having to worry about it breaking
someone said...DK set is supposed to be the BEST...yes it is but on a low exp server people have to WORK for it...here it is just a given
personally i got really annoyed in nem1 because a warrior with 30k endurance dk set could be hit by BBH wars for an hour and not strip...plus they can slap on a tower shield and an m shield
in my opinion lower endurance on DK means people have to play smarter...not just assume they have an invincible armor

High exp also benefits everyone getting eks, since everyone is 180 and they can easily kill lvl 120 players on a whimp, so...remove hero sets?
Oh killling hc with just a few warriors, isn't that possible because of high exp? Or making long hunts of wyvern with only a few mages, cause they got the ms28 and way more mana....? isn't that cause of the high exp?
Wait here's another...everyone getting mass rare armors....cause they can spend hours and hours on ogre, ig, ww pits...because they got dk armor and max lvl....
Oh and here is my favorite: making a bbh war in 2-7 days, also possible because of high exp. If we were still on low exp, most people would still be using flam...

The high exp benefits everything and everyone on the server.
In fact many of the things we do daily are because of high exp. So it applies to everything, not only dk armors.
Lets put it this way:
Getting a bbh warrior on low exp to max lvl: 6 months
Getting a bbh warrior on high exp to max lvl: 2-7 days
Getting a dk warrior on low exp to max lvl and dk15: 1 year
Getting a dk warrior on high exp to max lvl and dk15: 2-3 months
It still takes a lot more time to get the dk15, so why do players who choose that path get screwed? Because bbh warriors can't kill and need advantage?
Exp applies to everything, not just dk15. So leave pvp related stuff in default. Not just what benefits the bbh warriors.

Imo would be cool to have like 1 mass pvp event (LMS, team capes or w/e)/month and let the winner(s) pick an armordye colour of their choice. It doesn't give any advantage but it sure is a mark of ''honor'' and brings some nice colour and look to the game. ;)

Oh come on.. why do you have to be a smart *censored*? Well lagging can happen to anyone but pulling only happens intentionally. That is the difference and the reason why pulling is punished. Can't you just simply admit that pulling is WRONG and should be PUNISHED because it's wrong and stop looking for pig holes to look smart when we both know it's not leading anywhere.
PS. if TP abusing was designed to the game does it mean that the owners can't modify the server better for players and the game experience itself? Do you like when your EK slips right trough ur fingers?

I was talking about banning to bisle for 3hrs. There is major diffirence between that and banning accs. It's not that hard but its annoying and should not be part of the game. Yes there is lots of ppl doing that but why we would not atleast frown on it?
Atleast I'm already far from the point where I would try to hunt for eks and get mad if I wont get one. I like to own ppl, but it doesn't always mean that you have to be the one who gets the kill. It's far more honorable to help your buddies and earn your respect like that. Therefore I also respect for example Milkcow very much.
I was not angry at all, actually we could pretty much finnish the hunt with them freacking around. I was only laughting at this guy when he pulled and happened to have video on as I was recording the hunt.
I would be 100 times more angry if I had chased him intensively and fought with him 30mins and then if he would do that.

I know he is not getting his acc banned, I wrote that to answer ruutu about people doing that kind of stuff, they just don't "learn their lesson", as he said. Laming was an example, no matter how hard u punish it, they still do it.
And I'm not saying u were angry, or biased, but u probably met lots of pullers alrdy, yet this is the one that got reported, and actually punished for something we've all seen, and never got punished, nor no one ever actually complained to admins about it. So the situation is a bit weird.
If you dont want to punish a puller you want to let him pull, thats a fact.
When you catch 1 then another and another, if you punish them hard enough it will show the rest of ppl who pulls thats if they get caught it will be tough punishment they have to facem people wouldnt take the risk. Who cares if they get caught 1/10 pulls and get banned to bi for 2 hrs (No1 does) but if u get caught once and ur char gets banned for week, oh man that starts to hurt really have to think if its worth it.

No, I said a lot of people pull, not everyone. I'm not saying skyas is bias, just saying the whole point was because of anger on a failed hunt. If someone pulled on them, in a simple raid, there wouldn't be any discussion at all.
And I'm not backtracking anything, I'm saying the same thing I said in the first place, I don't like pullers, but I don't think its logical to ban them for that.
And yea, since at the time I was the only spanish talking GM, I was gona help spanish users first, english then. English talking users had hunter, frost, bier and a lot of GMs, while spanish talkers only had me and farjat (now elguason), so I don't really see anything wrong with that quote.

Pulling is a part of the game, where u like it or not, juts like getting lag is. When people lag, and get killed, does the person who killed him complain? no they are happy. Well, when someone pulls on u, u get angry.
It balances itself out. If people are gona get punished for pulling, then start punishing people that take advantage of someone lagging........but thats never gona happen right? cause as long everyone is getting eks, they are happy, and there is no reason to complain right?

Cakez has a good point there about atleast lowering the rates of pulling and making it punishable so maybe atleast not-so-retarded ppl won't pull because they realize it's not allowed. Making crimes is also a part of life and we don't have to deal with murders on the streets just because it's part of life, do we?

I will not talk about phoenix, i will in general:
Recall, Log out, Pretende Corpse+ Alt+F4, Go to the safe, force a recall at enemy city, cancell an exchange, call for back up in a pvp, etc are part of HB, Pulling it is not.
Pullers shouldnt be banned, just a coupple of hours at BI as much.
Not SS or anything should be taken as proove to punish anyone... Pullers should be caught only by GMs (in their GMs or standar character) because there are a lot of things to *spam*yze in live to know when is a pulling and not a mass lag + Conection Lost.
Its still an unfair excuse for sending someone to bi....everyone in hb pulls and it has never been penalized for that. I don't say its a part of the game, its just something that can happen intentionally or not. Now everyone that d/c during the middle of a fight and caught in video (either if he normallyl logged out, got lagged or pulled) is gona get the chance of spending a vacation in bi.
If it wasn't SkyGM posting the video, this conversation wouldn't probably exist. And the fact that being caught by a GM being the only reason for sending someone to bi, wouldn't be fair to everyone: a side from frost GM, most GM's are aresden, that means the only players getting caught would be elvs, not aresden. ( I agree with xexy, if players are to be penalized, player submitted videos should be allowed, not only gm ones).
I just believe everyone cries when they don't like something, when they didn't like dmg, they asked for a change, when they didn't like drops, they ask for a drop change, now they don't like to loose an ek, they ask for that ek to be sent to bi...plz just play....
In my eyes the point of this new rule is to humiliate and punish the pullers and make it STOP and make the game more fair. I kinda doubt that many players even have fraps ready and remember to roll it when there's a situation going on but if someone catches some good footage of a clear pull they should have the right to post it and get *spam*yzed. This is a good way to ''scare'' the pullers and show them it's not ok in a language that EVERYONE understand.And if they still continue it maybe take some more serious actions ( like tagging ''PULLER'' with red text under the players name?) :D

Loosing your connection is, or when ur isp fails to provide u with internet, u get banned for that too? It sucks when people pull, but it is a part of the game wether u like it or not, since is a part of ur pc. If he would rather screw up his own pc in order not to die for a stupid game, its his loss...and sending people to bi would be a good punishment, but wouldn't be fair nor justified.
you're clearly going off subject now. he clearly pulled. explain to me how it's fair for somebody to easily pull their internet cable to live, but there shouldn't be a punishment.
and NO pulling/losing connection is not part of any game. show me where it says on an offical game website you should pull before dieing. please do, afterall... it is part of the game. what's the point of the ek system if pulling your connection before death was part of it? what's the point of the zem?

Its not fair, it just happens. It can happen to someone that truly looses his connection because his isp fails. So are u going to ban or punish the person that also "dc in the middle of a fight" cause his internet company sucks? I know he did it intentionally, but for that matter, lets also bisle anyone who suffers from lag.
I'm not saying pulling isn't stupid, but sending someone to bi for it is just ridiculous. U can never truly now whats going on with his pc. Shit happens, deal with it. If he pulls, wait for him and kill him. He did something stupid, but not something illegal, he lost his connection, though intentionally, you can never know that.
Oh come on.. doesn't it surprise you that everytime they get in a situation like that (boxed, parad and ppl hitting = no escape) they lose their connection? It's ok if you dc / get bump dc during a chase where you can still easily escape with other ways (no reason to pull) but when you get caught like that and ''lose'' your connection you should get punished. The number of innocent victims getting dc in a box would be quite small and if you get a bump dc you can still take a ss to prove that you are getting dc because you can see that your char might be on the other side of the screen.
It's just stupid that you chase a guy who ruins your TW hunt and finally catch him and he disconnects (with a pulling delay) when he gets boxed and it's all on RECORDING... it's OBVIOUS that he pulled and nothing gets done?

Just like u guys don't know how to speak spanish, many people don't know how to speak english, so demanding for them to translate when they don't know the language is not only annoyiong but really stupid. If u guys want to know so bad what he said, then use a translator. He has the right to use any language he wants.

Imo it would be fair if you post spanish in a topic started in english YOU go use the translator instead of us who are trying to read and make something out of it instead spamming and leading the topic to a fight. I think that 10 second recall thing is good. But removing safes areas wouldnt do any good imo. Coz it isnt nice to enter in some maps and get killed, like IB or ML.
Yea well you can also code it so you won't take dmg for 5 secs when entering a new map like in celestial.

The event seemed to get one heck of a big group of players ingame.
There was one AWESOME Heldenian I must say. Aresden defended like 45 minutes against Elvines attacks. Next time you elvines won't be so lucky! Anyways it's nice to see so many new players starting and old ones coming back! Long live Nemesis!

You said you had DK+ 15 sword and DK+8 wand even if you had more int than str you would only get one i remember they asked if you wanted sword or wand and people made a choice then i remember someone telling that 1 gm was giving out the part you were missing if you told him you got bugged and didnt get e.g. wand.
I also played at that time so no point trying to convince me of something because at that time there wasnt a /dkset command it was GM who gave DK set + Killing a TW for you.
So if you had DKWand and DKSword doesnt mean you hacked you just tricked at that time a stupid GM i cant remember name of who got cheated by many players.
Anyways this is getting 2 offtopic for me.. There will always be some who want the IG pit and some who doesnt it just happens that i am one that dont.
Therefor i made this post and i think that GM and players have seen what they need so i dont know if you want 2 respond Xexy but i dont see the meaning of getting this post going anymore.
Ok ok I got the point but I really want to answer because I don't know what the heck you are talking about?! When I played HBNemesis1 there was /dkset command as far as I have played and don't tell me anything else.. -.- First I leveled myself to max lvl with amp (112int and 130str) then I took a few majestics and raised my int to 131 or something and got the wand and then lowered it back to 112. After that I lvled dk+15 sword and +8 wand and the stat change to 59int.

I understand him too and nobody's changing the server to a fruit 300/500 with 2352835x exp and 100% rares all over. The fact is a small thing like IG pit is a good thing which creates some action and makes leveling up abit easier. I agree on disabling/lowering the 2nd drops on IGs too. I don't understand why did Ettin pit get removed..... it has been there for as long as I remember and with these low drop rates nobody isn't going to get any rares / good drops from there anyways and the exp is bad. So why to remove the only source for a statted weapon that does any good? Please don't try to feed me any shit about SW or ML random spawns because if anyone didn't get any rares / good BHs/hammers from the pit yet how could anyone get those from random spawns?

I added the IG pits just because there was most of the players asking for it. And i was like ok lets give the new players something that makes them stay. More ppl = more fun at the end.
Account registration still getting new players but i guess in like a week we can take that pit out and game over.
no, you cannot do this.. u have to give a notice at least 1 month before you take it away.. cos some ppl have gone 200 str 59int to 130 str 112 int because of this pit. u cant just take it away like that.
just say - IG PIT WILL BE THERE TILL 01.03.2008.
then that may teach people not to go for the weird stat setup: in reality, a build like that shouldn't even get past lvl 50....
King!! first of all I respect you but please stop acting like a priest saying that homosexuality is wrong.. it's ok that you want to keep the server original and have people lvling up at the slime pit for years. It's a fact that hb is dying and this game isn't about grinding anymore, it's about FUN. I made my warrior in nemesis1 with like str130 dex191 int112 mag 50 and rest vit and got my dk+15 sword, dk+8 wand and the majestics needed for the stat change to get off the amp in just like a couple of weeks. IG pit is also a battlezone which is a base for most big fights because players are fighting over for the leadership of the pit and that makes the game fun. Can anyone of you remember those 15v15 fights in IB started from 2 players fighting over IG pit?

No. Abit of offtopic, but mages are already quite overpowered compared to wars, so ''giving'' wars abit more dmg isn't bad imo.
