Account was sold today, I think someone from the korean guild owns the account now, although i am not sure. Guess thats it for me then, its official. To think all this came about because someone didn't like the way we did a food game. Pretty sad.

As usual, the morons come in numbers. Server is better without us noobs? Oh yes thats why I have pms and emails from players and a couple of GM's here asking me to come back because aresden is dying. Enjoy. Bye.

The reason I have left is because Eldon has left - Eldon and I spent a lot of time playing together and without a him playing in my time zone I didnt have fun. Eldon was banned because of the way we wanted to conduct the food game at abbadon 2 months ago. Luffy had a massive whinge to farjat while we were organising the food game and said he wanted it done there and then. We saw luffy having a cry about it in general chat, he wanted the food game NOW (which would have meant people who helped us down abbadon would miss out because they had to go), even though he was there for 15 minutes and he refused to come until abbadon spawned - like he deserved anything in the first place. So because luffy had a whinge, farjat kicked up a fuss about us using White's food game program. The problem farjat had was apparently we were using a GM tool. So... lets get the facts straight, he wanted us to *censored* over people who were at the hunt and had to go, to please luffy. You got rid of Eldon because he couldn't keep GM and Player duties separately, because farjat is a great example of fairness and keeping player matters seperate. You want someone to blame for aresden being so boring? Aresden having noone to lead fights? Blame Luffy and farjat. Of course this thread is going to be filled with abuse towards me but I doubt I will be around long to read it. Ive spoken the truth, Eldon had his posts regarding this deleted as well because farjat knows he *censored*ed up. The GM's know he *censored*ed up and its about time the players knew.

DK15 has good hit prob, it is not fantastic PVP because its crits are horrible. DK15 is good for normal swings, not crits - that is where Ancient GiS beats it. GiS has good hit prob with better crits than DK15. However as with most long swords, the damage is very fluctuant. What that means is it will hit high, but its not reliable. It will hit a lot of low numbers as well. As far as Hit Prob goes this is my order. DK15 > Ancient GiS > Hammers (not to sure on the hammers, what order they go in, but they would be very similar). Funnily enough the damage comparrison is the opposite :P Hammers > Ancient GiS > DK15. In addition to this post. Flameberges also have a PvP penalty in regards to hit prob, from memory it was -15% PVP hit prob. I dont think it applies to DK+15 because...its not actually a flame.

It was always a very ill thought out idea by the idiots who made this game. Ok so it has a +2 dmg benefit over GiS on players with a 26 stat cost. Thats a rough trade off. I know which one id prefer. Sure if you had an Ancient with HP, you could justify the stat trade off. But to use a Sharp or any other form of BSS, it just would not be worth it. Youre better off getting a Sharp BH - which are quite cheap and get some stripping.

BSS is the most useful weapon out there. If you see someone using it, its like seeing a robe mage, you chase that person till they die, then you /pf and /tgt . Its an easy way to establish how stupid someone is.

Spose this is my goodbye post. I know... I hate these threads as much as everyone else, but I just had a few words to say to everyone before I packed my little suitcases. Its been 11 years of Helbreath... Many servers, 4 Demon Slayers not to mention the numerous HBINT bannings and item removals. First and foremost, a thank you to the staff who have given me... 4 years of enjoyment, 4 years of a stable Helbreath server. A big thanks to Jing, probally one of my favourite GM's, was good to talk to in game, could always muck around with him, on his player or GM. Just a huge thanks to Survivors. When I first came to Nemesis 1 I enjoyed my time in their guild and continued to enjoy my stay in Nemesis 2, Ive made one or two friends from that guild who I still speak to on MSN etc. To MaynarD, despite our healthy rivalry, you're great to play against. PS. Thanks for the Demon Slayer. :wub: Most of you should have a good idea about why Im leaving, I wont get to much into it, but Ive made a couple of very close friends in this game. When one of those close friends, and one of the only guys who consistently plays in my time zone leaves, well... I just dont have fun anymore. Anyway yeah, going to miss this game, but Ive done everything Ive wanted to accomplish. To everyone Ive played with, raided with, hunted with and sworn at (quite a few of you :P) keep having fun. I will always stick around the forums, I enjoy giving tips and sharing my knowledge and as a veteran warrior I think I will always be able to give other players advice on builds etc. But I wont come back to the game unless Eldon does. He is the only person that I enjoyed playing with in my time zone, I had many people I enjoyed playing with, but they were from other time zones and I spent majority of my time with him, I just dont have as much fun.

It will probally be sold. Ive got a few people interested. No doubt the guild and Aresden has been dealt a big blow with some of the key players leaving, but thats the game. Some of the new guys will have to stand up and lead some fights. But im not going to go to much into that, id rather leave my goodbye nice and civil.

Wrong. Maximum damage will not be the same. You will notice the difference between Sharp+2 and Ancient. Otherwise people would buy Sharp Battle Hammer's for pretty much nothing and upgrade them instead of forking out for ABH.

yes server is booming right now. if you guys didn't switch i dunno how ares woulda recovered.. :sleep: I mean not only has ares recovered but the server is completely unbalanced once again lol great job :D Booming is an interesting assessment :P The Poop Team played Ares a while ago as well. When Ares could carry themselves again they changed back, dont get your panties in a twist. Simple fact is, Ares is/was doomed. Aresden should be thanking them for helping out and Elvine should be thankful they have someone to fight/lead fights.

There are some small bonus's. I know for every 10 strength theres a very small bonus, I think its like 2% more damage or something from memory (which is why if youre 156 you go 160, if your 169 you go 170).

I think it disrupts the economy. Ie MP W is more desireable than M.

The problem i see with it is, a DK15 wand hurts. Its almost as painful as a Zerk wand with MS28. If your selling majestics, your effectively selling DK15 wands to an already powerful mage class. Youre taking away the only disadvantage mages have and that's harder majestics.

Noone will buy these untill they are able to be used via the Insert/Delete key.

OK let its be +2, but formula for GIS is 2D12+3 (L), so ancient shuld be 2D12+3+2. eh? Adn im interesting on DK sword formula B). That formula is writted at BlackSmith, go and check it dude. And at the end, GIS+1 formula is 2D12+3+1. p.s. anyway wish to see answer from moderator that code in Nemesis. B) You are completely wrong. Ancient adds to the DICE DAMAGE. For example, normal GiS is 2d12+3, Sharp is 2D13+3, Ancient is 2D14+3. Upgrading via X stone adds to the damage after the Dice. So a +1 GiS would be 2d12+4, Sharp +1 would be 2d13+4.

Hell even when I had my NS Anc GiS i consistently hit higher Crits than a DK15. Normal hits the DK15 had a better average range whereas the gis was fluctuate a lot, from low hits to high hits - whereas the DK hits a nice medium. A Anc rep 7 would be close to out doing a DK15 gis, but you would have to get lucky and have a lot of hit prob.

Servers that use the Diablo models look so amateurish and crap.

Yeah dont expect Aresden to kill Abbadon in the foreseeable future, we dont have the guild structure or the leadership anymore. Now that the args are "back", Aresden is further up the shit creek.

Thats just...crap. Perhaps the church could be the staging ground for a new battle mode or something.
