NOT skill U need a good computer Thats why while running in the past two servers I played, I was slower than most of the people (something with the client they used totally fubar'd my fps) I still got away most of the time. I never outran people straight out, though I finally can here.

Yeah, the last two servers I played had this, and it worked very well, though I've seen it suggested here and shot down. All it means is that you need to have some skill to be able to get away, at least be able to avoid them for a while, though, once I get to a decent level, I hate recalling anyways. Chases across ML ftw.

Yeah, thats why its usually better to make small changes, cosntantly testing them, not do a huge change that could cause a total inbalance.

Thats all I can ask. I know that damages like this can be hard to get right.

People cant, beacuse its human nature to try win, with any advantage they can get. Its basicly the same as sterioids in all the professional sports circles. And one small question on edited "paks"... is the removal of the cencor allowed by the server? I got rid of it pretty quickly, because I wanted to ask Sexy[GM] a question ingame, and with the cencor it dosnt allow you to whisper that name.

Ping isnt all that has to do with running fast, the bigger factor is your computer. Damn, I wish Celestial's forums were still up, I'd copy a topic over here that explained everything about "How your computer effects playing Helbreath"

gah, thats too bad, its always fun to blow some extra money for a chance at a decent item. On another server my guild had a char we all powerleveled to 200 chr to buy tickets on, the best we ever got was a flam+2 if I remember correctly.

Glad you posted that, clears up the questions about the difference in HP here as compared to all the calculators, and its just as I said it was. knowing math ftw.

Even with low damage here, I'm sure a decent mage who knows how to time well could take 500 hp down quite easly. The regens will be low, so it wont take too long until the warr is hitting the pots, and really, wont last too long. I'd give at max 3 pfa (with a decent mage... and I'm not talking about anyone with blizz).

The fact with IGs not hitting through amp, thats how it is supposed to be, that was the original "plan" for ice golems, for mages to be able to train, or for warriors to be able to train partied with mages. I agree with the original 5 points in here though.

easy way, press f12 and put it in the corner. Blocks a small amount of the screen, but you can see the time. All you really need to see is the seconds

Or they send letters to their Member of Parliment (or whatever the hell they have in other places) belive it or not, that does more than the demonstrations.

Every time I come to these forums, theres someone bitching//whining about something. Yes plenty of things need to be fixed but please, relax. Its probably quicker to send an admin a PM with the problem, then to post everything on the forum, especially if its something that you know for sure will need to be fixed, and not something that you think would make the server better. And on that note I'd also like to thank Sexy and Farjat for the work they've put into this server so far, and hope that they keep it up, along with thank Hunter for all the work I've noticed him doing. Its good to finally be in a server with good active GMs running good events. Keep up the good work.

I played for a while during nem1, and I know this is what servers are like, compared to the last server, this isn't even that bad. But frankly, I dont see why people have to complain so much on the public forums, theres more of a chance to get things fixed properly by just sending a PM

Thats not even the point I was making. I'm sure they read them, and it prevents all the whining on the forums.

This version is nothing like 200 str, 200 int and you're done. Once I'm lvl 120, I doubt most 200 int mages, or 200 str warriors will be able to take my mage down, A well built char with different stats will by far be greater than a generic character with str or int maxed. and as for oldschool, keep hero sets, thats one of the few reasons that keeps me here, theres actually something to strive for .

Meh, if the 1 has a really well built char + leet items, and the rest are shitty chars with carppy items, it could happen. Items > Skill > level (to an extent)

You playing here Instinct? and yeah, I came from the same server, and I found it alot better, but I also think that something has to be done to prevent abuse. Even with a 10 second timer on it (like the last server) its more then easy enough to get away (even with a slow computer). I did it plenty of times.

The server I played with the most diverse builds was HbArchaic, with 150 max, 250 stat max. That server had so many screwed up builds that did quite well, though there were few balance issues with the priest class//golden axes. I quite like the fact that there is 140 max here, much more diversity, many more builds, and you actually have to plan out how you'll level your character with the low exp.

The people that cried about it, cried not because they didnt WANT to go there, but because there were elvs abusing Santa Suit in there. Really, I think that with a lvl 140 max server, there shouldnt be an IG pit, for the fact that there will probably be a fair amount of people with lower strength at max, and with an influx of war axes (if they drop them here, they did the last few servers I played) some kinds of chars will become much overpowered because of the weapons. Not to mention an influx of special Ms10s. I've seen one person selling two hp70+ ms10s already. though I doubt there will be that many more in the next while.

I would kill you too. I've gotten to lvl 82 so far, and frankly, I dont feel like seeing that time wasted, as the time I do have to play is very little right now.
