i think pretend corpse is disabled in arenas and i dont think armors should be allowed in an all mage pvp, at least not ma/mr... what happens when it ends up with one town and you can't break those sets? yeah, someone will say para and crit them down, which is perfectly fine and viable, but you can't deny using MR/MA in a mage pvp is a big advantage

ahh i guess that's why i never saw anything but the FH >.< and its true, he rarely ever carried mshield/tower and maybe it was both.. i thought zal activated on abby XD

well he did have that cape... but yeah, he's one of the few that will fight wearing his FH only, and not run around wearing sets when more than 1 person showed up (did he even carry sets?). mad props for that

yeah that was probably me.. i died on my bmage while i was there, but it was incredibly weird, the only mages i could see were the ones shooting the dragon, there were no elvs on the screen and no one casting blizzard, yet i was taking damage and being frozen :s i ran out of the screen from the rest of the ares except for like 2 (kefka and morpheus), they followed me as i was still being hit by seemingly nothing

NOTE: This is for NVIDIA cards at the moment. I'm sure it works with ATI cards too, I'm not familiar with ATI Catalyst though, but that's what you should use to apply the settings. I'll update it when I can for ATI, if there's any major difference (which there shouldn't be) Steps: (with pictures, with some overlap, I apologize) 1. Make sure your video card is enabled, so that the NVIDIA Control Panel appears in the Control Panel. 2. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to 3D settings -> Adjust image settings with preview, and select "Use the advanced 3d settings" 3. Go to 3D settings -> Manage 3d settings, and first go to the global settings, and set the options as follows. (NOTE: you might not need to change these, it worked for me straight up, but I'm going to post it anyway) 4. In 3d settings -> Manage 3d settings, now go to program settings. HB will not be listed, so you will have to add it manually by clicking the Add tab and finding the Helgame.exe file. From there, set the options as follows. 5. I don't think these matter, but my PhysX is on, and my stereoscopic 3d is off. 6. ... 7. Profit! I don't know if this works for everyone, but I have tried this on computers with Vista and Win 7, and can confirm it works. On the PC with vista, I was able to get 500-600 FPS easy. On my own home PC with Win7, I can get 900-1000+ FPS (very high end pc). This is the best way to handle the fix, IMO. (EDIT: I say this because it's been said that leaving your card disabled will cause damage to it, and I have had to replace a fairly new (3-4 months owned tops) video card since it died. I don't know if disabling it was the ultimate cause, but it's a possibility.) As for people with ATI/Radeon cards, you have to use ATI Catalyst to change the settings. The layout might be different, but I think the settings should be fairly similar if not almost identical. I'll look into it though. Thanks to Seg for showing me this originally :D

you have to add it yourself, since HB doesn't require an installer in program settings (where you're supposed to modify the 3d settings)/, click the Add tab and just go to the HB folder and select Helgame.exe

windows 7 does have the same angel problem as vista but you can work around it

im pretty sure it was mentioned in another post but it looks like they're going to be used for events, which does make a lot of sense GMs wont have to handle whispers for TPs and run the risk of accidentally missing someone in the arena for example, and they can close them whenever they please

I am using win 7, and had the same problem. Turns out, they actually ARE being saved, just not in the HB folder. Try going here: C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\HB Nemesis That's where I found all of mine.

Maybe not the spot for bugs, but 3 things I wanted to point out anyway: 1) In sades, when guildless citizens and guildsmen open the crusade screen, the mana stone locations don't show up, or are in the wrong locations altogether. For whatever reason, I've seen it change in the middle of the crusade to the right locations. Any idea why? This doesn't happen with guildmasters, by the way. 2) I'm sure everyone has noticed at some point that they are unable to summon at all, and it does get a bit annoying trying to /tgt someone or whatever when you can't. I thought this was due to some friendly corpses not disappearing upon death, but I think there might be more. 3) This isn't really a big deal at all, but at some point everyone has been killing a monster, and suddenly when it's HP gets low, it starts running away and is invincible for a short period of time for whatever reason. Then you could hit -10 after spamming it with spells (as an example) and it would die. Maybe it was intended to be that way, but I'm going to point it out anyway.
