Did something change with the new update? Because I swear it gave me an error and crashed it before today. I've been gone all weekend, but I just tested and it worked. The skins I tested it on prior to the weekend were Insomnia, Cool Blue, Apocalypse, and Fire.

To those of you who are able to record while playing HB, what software/settings do you use? I've only tried fraps and hypercam in the past, fraps gave me this ridiculous 5 second lag and I couldn't really get hypercam working at all.

Just tried a cracked version, works like a charm. No lag at all, sound and video are as good as they need to be. Thanks :)

What OS are you using? Like most things, you probably have to run it as an administrator.

I ... don't really think this is against the rules. Why would you have a problem with this anyway? People have done the same thing to advertise trades in the past. All it's doing is shortening the time it takes to type it out, saving what, 15 seconds to a minute or more depending on how much you're typing. The rule for macros is there to stop unassisted or AFK macros. The /pf function is only useful when a player is active, since you need to be there to see if a player is on the same server.

I know this is totally minor, but the details for pick axe in blacksmith are incorrect, they state the full swing for it is 104 strength, when in fact it's 130.

Okay, so switching to the default skin worked. I went back and tried a number of extra skins (apocalypse, insomnia, fire, one or two of the blue ones), and it didn't work for any of them. I guess we know what the issue is. Thanks for the suggestions though!

I think it might be a skin issue. I've tried with 3 chars, none of them can get it working. I'm using the insomnia skin by the way. Give me a sec and I'll test the normal one.

I've tried it in an open space, against a wall, you name it. I've tried it in Aresden town, shop, warehouse, the dungeons, even one of the apoc maps. Tried in both peace and attack mode. Tried with all armors, no armors. It literally doesn't do anything.

Yes, I know that, but like I said, I'm not even receiving so much as a message saying the skill failed. It just does nothing.

pa woods are the best... especially when wars dont switch weapons... when they finally switch it comes off and they don't notice.. so funny 100% agreed with you on the SB bit though. I thought there were 20, but yeah, most of them ARE active. I think part of the issue is due to the recent latency/coding fix though. It's a lot easier to be stunned by monsters, so it makes sense that it's easier to get stunned by players, but I find it's more apparent with monsters. If you try escaping from 2 or more beetles in a sade with a mage, good luck to you. The way I figure, as connections improve, a lot more glance hits connect, creating stun. With the range/number of SBs, it's difficult to use a mage in that kind of environment unless you keep them constantly frozen or throw out a MIM to keep them running around. If the stun could be lowered without reverting back to more clunky code, that'd be best, I guess. Mages could cast through anything in that old environment.

lol @ everyone hating on me (cow) even though i'm not playing i'm just going to reiterate what synz said about how it's a 1x1 spell, doesn't go through amp or pfm, and costs a shit ton of mp to use, so it's not like it's being spammed. and it's not even 30-45 seconds is it? i thought it was 15-20, very close to the length of a para. that said, i'm fine with reducing the time on it, and even allowing pots to be used, but making it like hold person is just making the spell useless in any form of group pvp, and that's a fact. for the mp cost and whatnot required to actually use it, it's fine, but i think it could use a slight downgrade, not a complete nerf.

Yeah, I had something like that happen as well. Basically, it lagged to shit since it was displaying every single animation and there was too much happening at once. Say if there was a summon event and there was a wyvern summoned, if you examined it frame by frame, you would have seen every single bit of damage above its head. Whatever the issue is, you can try disabling vsync through the integrated chipset and seeing what that does. For an integrated chipset, try this: Start ? Control Panel ? Personalization ? Display Settings ? Advanced Settings ? Intel? Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (or whatever chipset it is) tab ? Graphics Properties... ? 3D Settings. Then turn Asynchronous Flip to on, apply, and give it a try.

something similar happened to me in other games, vent wasn't working until i minimized the game, the solution (in my case) was to run vent in administrator mode, then it all worked perfect :)
