We all know that we need more players. HB Nem is professionally run, totally free, knocks spots off later games and is easy to play. So why haven't we got hundreds playing? Part of the answer is publicity. If people don't know the game exists then they aren't going to come and take a look. God helps those who help themselves. So let us help ourselves to attract new players. I suggest we all do an Email to everyone in our address book inviting them to come and play. You don't have to write a long letter. Just say something like:- Come an join me playing Helbreath Nemesis free download and free to play ( http://www.helbreathnemesis.com/ ) If you like Runescape you will love Helbreath. If everyone sent an email inviting others it stands to reason some will come look and try. Out of those some will stay... after all you did ;)

Guilty as charged. I don't play enough but I never do during the summer months and although winter is now almost upon us I have been caught up with other matters in my life. I try to make Crusades if I can. What we need is new players, old players will drift back, I still say if everyone sent an invite by email to the people in their address book it would bring in new blood. I did this today and already received one acknowledgement telling me they will take a look.

Why not pick up a free email address from mail.com and have the email sent there. They only remove spams aftertheir own team have declared an address as spam.

Taking a break

I am not playing HB much this days. This is because I was getting a little bored coupled to the start of the Summer which brings so many other activities into my life. I do try to make the Saturday Crusade though and am annoyed with myself for missing yesterday's Sade. My wife had a posh garden party here and I couldn't even break away for an hour.

The idea has merit

I am not familiar with Vista I insisted my new PC was loaded with XP. They wanted my order so they supplied it with XP installed. I have a question. When W98 came out it had an option to run in W95 mode. When XP came out it had an option to run in W95 or W98 mode. from what I am reading am I right in thinking that Vista is not able to run in any other mode ?

I see Windows 7 will have an XP Emulation mode. Does this mean we will be able to run HB on Windows 7 without the problems associated with Windows Vista? Can any of you Gurus out there explain this to me in no nonsense non geek language.

OK first unzip the Helgame file. Having done that find your Helbreath folder which will contain a file also called helgame. Delete that, place your newly unzipped helgame file into the helbreath folder. Then run as normal. Everything should be OK.

I am always surprised when someone cuts their strings to HB., gives away their stuff and leaves. If you are playing too much then ration yourself. If you are all HB'd out then take a break. For the moment I am HB'd out and hardly been in the game for the past two weeks or so. I intend to do such Sades as I can make but thats it. In short I am taking a break. At some stage I will start playing again .... whenever

It would raise money but it would also mean that rich players would have all the rare spells the poor players and those still at school would have to suffer. I am strictly against management making and selling any items. If players get a good drop then good luck to them if the wish to sell them but that is as far as I would wish to see it go.

Imperative you insist on Windows XP. Do not take NO for an answer if they want your order they will get XP for it. Vista is just a rolling problem, not just for HB for many other programs too.

I suspect that when you made the account you gave it a different name. For arguments sake say you originally gave the name "Bahah1234" and you are now putting "bahlah1234" then it would give the response "non existing account" . All account names are case sensitive. At the risk of being rude the mistake will be somewhere at your end.

Please take note .... the above is a VERY sensible observation.

I did that once, put an item into the Blacksmith's for repair and pressed to sell instead. I cried for days and days.

There's your problem then. Your PC isn't totally clean and/or the virus has removed certain files. Your best bet would be to wipe the hard drive and re-install Windows and then re-install everything else. Long winded I know but in the long run maybe the quickest because you really don't know what dirty little Trojans are still there. Then install a really good free virus checker like AVIRA and a proper spyware program like Superantispyware.

Try running a different virus checker like Avira. Also get a copy of superantispyware also free. You are running the latest version of HB. namely 4.66
