The common build for mages are:
STR:40 DEX:50 INT:195/200 MAG:200 rest VIT - dex mage
STR:30 DEX:10 INT:195/200 MAG:200 rest VIT - vit mage
At the moment go for energy strike spell and put mag to 200 and lvl at barracks after u get 200 mag advance in other stats that should help for now.
