It might deserve a little buff. But I don't have much knowledge on the issue so won't continue to elaborate on it :D BUT I think giving /rep+ has got out of hand. There're armies of AFK'ers always online who are just bots to rep someone. Server might say there're 180 people online, when in fact, it's only 100~ individuals or less actually playing. Multi client makes giving tons of +rep so easy that rep serves no purpose on Nemesis in my opinion. What does the Nemesis staff think about this rep+ nonsense that's been going on lately?

I already have this topic in "elvine" forum but I think no one checks that forum so remaking it here. Is flam warrior any good in pvp? And I mean Anc hp70+ flam :) Not bs flam ofc hehe. Flam default hp versus players sucks and dmg is not too great I know I know... Or would dk+8 already be better for pvp than ANY flam out there? DK sword is awesome pvm ofc but too too great for pvp. Just wondering if someone has tried pvp with good flam! B)

Just not sure how I can live with low mag :) Since I love discussing builds heres another question: Has anyone ever been able to get pfm/para warrior really work? What are your experiences with warriors without zerk? I have another warrior with str200 dex200 vit151 int36 mag10. It's nice and simple to play but the only downside is super slow leveling and poor soloing capabilities. It's very strong in group PvP though and not too bad 1v1. I've had an awesome 38int / 50mag build, but that build kind of requires you to have some1 else to play with (38int for summons). 38 int built is nice if you have FH, since you won't miss any hits, and the high damage crits put up for the lack of zerk.. also its really nice in big fights... but its horrible to train/pvp i think. Yeah I've been thinking about 36/38 int build but lack of zerk is just painful, especially when trying to kill pa monsters :) Oh, and no chance in hell I'm gonna get angel+10 or dk15 with no zerk :)

This. Also, if you can find a decent Hammer (156 Str), that will really help with mages that like to use mp/hp sets. If you can get a decent gis and half-decent hammer, I'd say it's worth it as I have both, and enjoy it very much. Yeah I'd still have 132 vit which I consider high. Mass vit (158) characters just make you feel so comfy hehe! And about hammers yes, I hate it that mages can keep on going pretty much forever. Flam war can still kill mages though but needs quite a few succesful paras. Oh, and I think warrior vs warrior pvp is pretty much all about items. Mage vs War skill can outweight gear easily but war vs war not so much.

Thanks for reply. But is it worth losing 26 vit? And anc flam with high HP beats the GiS for overall pvp I think. But first I need that said flam hehe...

Bump for old topic. I now have dk6 with str130 dex200 vit158 int59 mag50 build. I love the build but dk6 sucks for PvP SO MUCH. The crits are laughable. How much better, if at all, is dk8 templar? Also, how good gis do I need to make it worth it to up str to 156? I have crit5 hp21 GiS.

Warrior event was great, thanks a lot Hunter! Though I got para'd right at the start + had num lock on so no pots -_-

While dummies certainly were fun, it was a bit over the top at times. I leveled my bmage from 168 to 179 in like 15-20 minutes when I last participated in such event. Ofc I'm happy with the levels I got though! :) It's great that you're trying to find ways to help those stuck in the 140-180 region. There must be other ways! :)

M.Shield wand is just stupid and even HB USA has removed it. I still believe that if we had lvl140 cap we would not have these kind of problems.

That's the problem. :/ And we all know the cure but don't want to say it. It's a 4 letter word that starts with W and ends in E.

That'd be awesome :) Maybe in Nemesis 3? :) Also god-sets suck major *censored*. People need to die more often and faster. I think lvl120 or max lvl140 cap would be the best solution. With low lvl cap you could even have BBH/DK/Blizz since taking BBH/Blizz would require sacrificing a lot of other stats.

This is a really weird problem. If I start my pc and then launch HB before anything else, the game works fine and I have 300+ fps even with some action going on, and even more with angels on screen. However, if I decide to for example start Firefox and Winamp and Messenger or whatever program BEFORE HB, and then launch HB when other stuff is running the game is incredibly choppy. My FPS then starts to jump up and down from 500+ to almost 0 totally randomly. Now, even if I close all background processes/programs and only have HB running it doesn't help at all. I have to reboot PC and then launch HB before anything else and then it works with no problems. I can use many programs at the same time and it doesn't affect HB at all IF I HAVE LAUNCHED HB FIRST. So, what the heck is this?? I have never experienced anything like this and would like some help! Also recently I'm getting DC alot. Is it just me or is the server having some problems?

I made an interesting find. Last night I was wondering why the heck is my Firefox so damn slow. Well, I checked it's memory usage and it was using a whopping 700MB of ram with only 3-4 tabs open!! I tried updating all my addons and plug-ins but nothing worked, it remained a huge memory hog. Anyways, I have now moved to back to google Chrome and to my surprise my problem with Helbreath choppyness is gone! Or at least I haven't experienced it again after switching to chrome. It might or might not have anything to do with chrome/firefox but looking good so far :)

I have disabled vertical sync and set card to high performance. Also the compability mode is recommended by many. When I have angel on screen I get a huge fps boost for some reason, it goes from 300+ to 500+ and when idle I can hit 800fps :o I'm very confident I don't have any viruses. And I think my explanation of the problem shows that it's not about a virus. When I start PC and start HB FIRST and then other stuff, all works fine When I start PC and OTHER STUFF first and then HB, HB gets choppy. I have also ran all possible virus/malware tests and keep my pc clean and up to date. I'm sure it's some background process that belongs to some legit program I have.

Is that good or bad? :D

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit I have HB set to run in compability mode for win98/me and have disable graphics accelerators. Also running HB as system admin.

Can't be lack of memory with Nvidia GeforeGT240M 1GB + 4GB system ram with 64bit OS :( Also this laptop is only 8 months old so I don't believe it has anything with my memory being broken yet. Also this problem is ONLY WITH HB and under the circumstances I explained. I think it has nothing to do with memory but some background process instead. I wish I knew what that process is...

That's exactly what I meant to say :) Events are great I agree, keep doing them! Also PL needs to come back. 140lvl barracks and 140lvl pl limit wtf? :) Another thing is, there are not too many people playing that are completely new to the game. This kind of players are very rare imo. Big emphasis should be put on getting those veterans back who have moved to other servers and games. HB top50 is great like Hunter said, and Nemesis has the 1st spot and let's keep it that way. I really don't know how to get those veterans back since I think Nemesis is doing everything the right way, old school HB with fast exp. I'm not a big fan of things like Hellfire or other custom stuff since, well, it's not oldschool HB anymore. Ideas on getting old players back? Oh, and Hunter said in game that he is ok with real money replacing in-game currency atm when trading the best items. Other GMs/staff feel this way aswell?

Another very important thing is guilds!! We all know this game sucks hardcore if you just play alone all day long. Being in a guild is just great, it makes the game and server feel alive, you get more teamplay, hunts, raids, learn from older players and have their support as a guildie etc etc. So, guilds please don't just laugh in the face of the clueless goldie with poor english asking for guild. I think elitist "pro" guilds cannot exist with these amounts of players HB has nowadays. Another problem is the gear gap between a fresh 180lvl character and old character. I know a lot of long time HB players who won't play nemesis due to it being so hard to get gear in order to be competitive in pvp. This is a tricky situation since low drop rates are a good thing absolutely and those older characters kinda deserve the edge they have over new players. I think the best cure for this aswell is joining an active guild :) And last thing. I think the trading of characters and items for real money has gotten out of hand. It seems that every above average item is being traded with USD only. Now how does this make things equal? Economical wealth of the player playing a character shouldn't affect how good the character is! It's ridiculous that you can buy all the best rares for one character and then be immortal. If you had to get rares by trading and using in game economy it'd a completely different ball game. I understand the donations system since it's there to keep this server up & running and only provides some "nice to have" stuff that doesn't affect gameplay that much. /rant over :D

But how does it compare to DK+8/DK+15? After using a 50 mag 59 int DK15 Warrior for a while, I think that the damage is too low for 1v1 in PVP. In a large group, it's not bad. Swings are good, but crits suck. As far as PVM, it's GREAT. Aren't DK15 crits equally bad? :P (PvP) Or did you mean str130 warrior in general? Du^^, do you actually have anc hp91 flam? :S

What annoys me the most is the dragging and dropping of materials into the manu thingy. Maybe make it so that once you select lets say "super coal" from the list the game automatically checks your bag for materials and then attempts to create the item if all the criteria are met. Or maybe make it so that you just have to click the materials and they'll go in place for you to manufacture. Much like equipping armor works. Anyway, dragging and dropping makes me nuts! :D PS: Is the auto attack for neutral targets working here? I couldn't get it work :( It'd help a lot with mining since you wouldn't need to hold down control, just right click.

My ideas: PETS/Companions These could be rewards from quests for example. Let's say the quest requires you to slay 2000 ogres or something crazy. After completing the quest you'd get a mini/baby ogre that follows you around! :) The actual pet would be an item that'd fit the diamond/angel slot or ring slot and then display the pet next to you. Much like angels are working. It'd give no "real" benefits but just a nice small show off accessory :) Would be cool to have a mini abaddon following you and it'd tell everyone that you have slayed abaddon! I think you get the idea :) Titles/Achievements Much like my first suggestion, but instead of the pet you'd get some title added to your name after completing some impressive feat. Let's take the ogre example again: You kill 2000 ogres and now you're called Rabbi the ogre slayer! This could be implemented like pets/angels I think. I leave the technical stuff to developers :D My 2 cents :)
