    kind of silly to continue the event imo. Arg team has the best ping/best items, and they are allowed to cheat by staff. So whats the point of wasting time playing out the event?

     

    Rules as posted in the FIRST topic of the event were APPLIED during the event, and will CONTINUE to be applied... so stop whine, go cry me a river, otherwise make an abuse ticket against the highest staff member (Farjat[GM]) who has spoken on the matter himself.

    Lol just like the pvp event u kicked me out of for using multi client. (which was NOWHERE in the rules, much less the first post)

    it increases the min dmg, giving u 10~30 instead of 5~30. When the dice roll your min chance has been increased by 5 obviously raising the average the dice will roll.

     

    that bit is obvious, i'm asking how the sliding scale works from min to max dmg and at what incriments damage is added.

    Oh, cuz thats not what you asked before. Are you asking what dmg would be given from a bbh that was 160%? I'm not sure about what exactly the incriments are, but i would guess every 20% over 100% would equal +1 min dmg.

    No real effort was put into the char because we had zw/mag10 on the char. Never needed to upgrade anything, but we played it a lot. However the "real" owner hadn't logged the char in years. The fat bitch shared with cowbell but had no items at all and a dk2 wand. She obviously had no concern about the char at all for years and years. But all of a sudden she comes back after years and notices sleep. Right away she made a topic in the forums about selling the char, which she had nothing to do with for years, and was worth 10 cents without the sleep we put there. If you people are too *censored*ing stupid to realize that is a scam then i feel really sorry for you and your offspring.

    So now that you admit that Miml was scammed from us with your knowlege. Please explain to me how is it that when Kelly was scammed and his items were sold, Squall tracked down every single item and returned it to Kelly. I was one of the people who purchased some of the scammed items (without knowing they were scammed.) I was out $50 and no compensation was given to me except a sorry. This is no different from what happen to us. Only difference i see in this is that Kelly is spanish speaking, and cowbell and I are not. I'm not here crying about this or that, just replying to what you believe is the truth.

    Ya man, Cowbell wont play nemesis since GM staff allowed Shereth+Maynard to scam Miml.

     

    Miml wasn't scammed, the owner confirmed the mail change for Miml, which changes the owner of Miml.

    It's the 2nd user (Cowbell) that whines about it cuz he "lost" a nice char, yet playing 2 sleep mages at the same time is pointless and impossible.

     

     

    So there is no reason to stick around after so many cases of being profiled by GM staff for petty bullshit and Spanish players getting to do whatever the hell they want. Gets a little old u know....

     

    Spanish people don't do shit here, all nemesis rules are applied to them too, and I refuse to learn to speak spanish, I only speak english to the players (or dutch).

    That's pretty much the definition of a scam. Doing all the work and then some lazy *censored* coming in to swipe up your work. I own an account in which I don't "own" the e-mail in which the account is registered with, but the owner doesn't change it on me because he's an actual upstanding and respected person on the server. People like whoever took Miml are scum, plain and simple.

     

    There are people on the server who do get away with more things than others, but that's going to be the case no matter what due to human nature.

     

    By the way: The sleep manual would've NEVER been used on Miml if it hadn't been for GMs telling Cowbell that he had to use it RIGHT AWAY on an elvine character. We couldn't even make a new character for it.

    Edit: Also how many sleep chars 1 person has is completely irrelovant, just cuz we had 2 sleeps means we should let 1 get scammed?

    Anyway, my first post regarding the PVP event.

     

    Firstly, I wasn't there for this whole ordeal but I think that this wasn't badly communicated to both sides.

     

    Quite obviously, the Aresden knew the rules which White[GM] stated. They acted upon this and didn't share items. Simple.

     

    This was broadcasted in the GM Chat as well, so obviously was communicated to players who were online at the time.

     

    So my real question is, why did Aresden know about this rule, but Elvine didn't? Did they choose to ignore it because it wasn't in the main post? I'd argue yes, because they didn't seek clarity on this.

     

    Anyway, it's your server and you decide the rules.

    well said, except i believe they understood the rules and just didnt think it would matter. Now that they were caught they use the "I didnt know" excuse. Also the summon pots were excluded from the event, but not stated on the first page of the event thread,however if i used demon pot in the 5 vs 5 fight i bet white will disqualify us. And I bet the decision wouldnt be overturned if i simply said "I didnt know it was a rule."

     

    Another example is when White banned me (Dragonoid+Miml) from a LMS event before it even started because i was using a multi client (which is provided by the nemesis client.) There was nothing posted at all about multi clients being illegal nor was there talk about it in the months leading up. White's explanation to me was that it was a "common sense rule" and that it didnt need to be posted. But for Argenlandia+High HB it needs to be written in blood on the top of the main page.... cmon...

    this rule is good idea

     

    if each elv team was to come out with 5sb no one would stand chance.

     

    and then 2 elv teams come together and 1 team has the sb's and other does not.

     

    then you would see that team was only carried by its rares to late stages.

     

    looking back you would see that it was unfair for other teams to lose because of this.

     

    if players or staff cannot reach a solution then we will be left with all events being BS equipment only.

     

    please find fair comprimise.

    could have been added to first post. not many people read all the comments.

     

    will need to check all players (ares+elv) for borrowed items. clearly some not as obvious as sb, but will need checking also for their items, to be fair ruling.

     

    all who borrowed shared any items need to be disqualified.

    Its not that you cant borrow items from your guild to fight in guild vs guild event. Its the fact that 2 teams shared the same items in 2 different fights. If a guild is large and strong enough to have 2 teams then it should be equipped enough to not have to use the same items from another team.

    @MJ: as I said earlier, we'll see if such situation pops up. Also you must choose 1 char, you can use just 1 char in a single team. Using another char (alt char or something) for the same team is not allowed as it would give you multiple chances to win.

     

    @Juno: Most of your text is correct, except the part of the odd teams, when an odd amount of teams exists, i will make a triple fight. let's say there are 7 teams, A vs B, C vs D and got E, F & G left-overs... them 3 would fight a triplet battle, meaning that team E vs F, E vs G, if E wins twice they progress, if E only won once, F & G will fight against eachother, if F won the first time and wins again against G, they progress. If team G has won first time and wins against team F also, they progress. In any other case the tripple match is re-taken starting again with E vs F and E vs G... etc untill 1 team has 2 victories.

     

    @toneeh: won't happen, as many teams will be scheduled to fight at the same time, so item sharing is useless here. Along with the very strict and high validation of IP addresses, char names, character relations we'll also check on item passing in the log files.

    ahem...
