If we mapped demon kills what do you think we'd see? 0 mages. The thing people don't get about HB is that both classes don't have to be exactly even in everything.

I really like the idea of an automated renting for contri. I'd like if we had a small announcement when a team won too (maybe only for official games in which case a GM could just do it).

It'll be removed when we decide to remove it (which is likely when the other maps are ready to facilitate leveling for new players). This developments in progress right now, there's some fun stuff coming up. Be patient.

I'd personally put it down to player skill. 90% of warriors I see don't even para these days. At least argenlandia knew how to time and para, I was actually afraid of some of their warriors back in the day. No longer.

Barracks 180 won't be there forever, staff is aware of this. Developments of other maps are also taking place so there will be many attractive places to level (and pvp ;)). That's all I'm saying really for now :) It's long-term solution focused.

Yeah to be fair I still see a tonne of goldies on. Old full heroes are still able to get on the ek charts if they wish <.<

I saw the ticket but didn't answer this one as it's related to Marcloc and I've done enough cleaning up for Marc and Marcs mates. I'll take a closer look later.

The last guy to get cancel got it on a level 80ish warrior in tower of hell 1 and he'd just started. So it's possible. Just take your time, hunt with friends, eventually you may or may not get something.

Lol Krede, Not too long ago we did the same thing to them :P If you want a proper "1v1" organise it as a "1v1" and do it in D2 or BI (neither get randomly found/asked for). Although I agree its annoying because sometimes you really want an ek - such is life :) Rant understood though, we've all had these moments.

I personally don't like that, but I did manage to make one xmas event (in IB with many prizes!) :) Farjats doing the big one.

Yeah I agree, when you're with a group you don't know, pays to go with the rules, even if it's just trash drops.

White is quite right that he can't force the player to return the zem. From the hunt leader perspective, sometimes it's really hard to concentrate on a million things at once. It's hard to tell if a player steals, and checking the logs takes valuable time that could be used hunting. White may not have seen the person take the mstone - you have to give your hunt leader the benefit of the doubt, even if they are a GM. A GM doesn't need to organise a hunt to benefit their guild, because abaddon is easy. So although it sucks that your thieving townmate didn't return your zem (that is wrong imo) - it's not all on White, it's just luck of the draw. Cheers, Eldon/Isitoq[GM]

Personally I'd like it if we could delete characters at players request (only after an email from the account owner though), but I can see a lot of problems (from our end) of having such a system. It's a free server, just make a second account (Does suck about the name loss though - but ultimately its to stop sharers deleting peoples chars!)

Ultimately, (and this is just my opinion) I'd like to see a long-term solution for these maps. Making ML more attractive to level in is one (and there's some cool developments our gifted staff are working on in the making for this ;) ). Ganking in itself isn't an issue (and pvp in these maps should be expected). It's just that maps should have enough pits that a newb (or 180 for that matter) can get a good degree of leveling in before they get found and attacked or driven out a pit. I personally don't feel PL 180 would be a good idea. I think that while a lower than 180 limit can increase activity (it's a change from general 180 pvp/maps), having 180s in PL as well as ML/IB etc would split the playerbase as is commonly feared. I think we can instead tie in PL with ND, and make it attractive for levelers and work on EF/RH as well. Long story short, all of these matters are currently being discussed by staff, so we appreciate the input - it's all taken on board, even if we don't directly agree with the suggestion coming up.
