  1. the point here is that having 800% skill would benefit every player for better game play. since this server had added axe to strip shields and tame monsters, those 2 skills are major skills. adding 2 new skills should allow 1 100% upgrade as well. for a warrior he must have 100% LS,hammer(if he has 159+ str) axe,shield,magic resistance, magic,arrow. and thats not including PR without PR a warrior is so easy 1 mass posion takes 200+ hp easy on top of no regen

     

    I find it pefect that if you want to use axe or whatever other skill, you have to give up another one. In my case, I dont have arrow skill and I dont feel like im running in disadvantage or whatever...

    well im not saying just arrow im talking about "what if" because i've always disagreed with hb limiting players skill percentages.


  2. in original hb the axe didnt have any "function" was because the str needed to carry baxe was low and baxe had nice basic base hit prob. the drop rate was higher alot players had crazy anc high hp baxes. if they added any "function" to axes then the axe would be even more over powered. at the same time im not saying adding shield strip wasnt a good idea because its great i like it alot. but why make a player CHOOSE a weapon type? do you ask a mage to CHOOSE magic type? i dont see any spells being restricted. a warrior should be allowed to use every weapon in my opinion but that would need at least 800% skill

  4. white my question was does the RANK guildmaster need to have 20 charisma. 1 character was the oriuginal guildmaster who made the guild with 20 char, but now at level 5 he keeps 20 charisma and assigns some1 else to be the new guildmaster. theres my question so does the NEW guildmaster need to have 20 charisma as well or no?


  5. As I was saying to someone in the game the other day:

     

    Why do new players leave Aresden constantly? It's not just because of the large amount of Elvines raiding. It's because "Aresdens are jerks", "Aresdens never help anyone", "No one helped me in Aresden", etc. etc. etc.

     

    I've heard countless times that people in Aresden (and Elvine, too) aren't nice to new players, calling them "noob", yelling at them because they died to the enemy town, or just ignore them completely.

     

    Lesson here? Be nice, show them where Barracks is, maybe show them 1 pit to train in, and DON'T call them a "noob", DON'T yell at them for dying a lot, DON'T be an *censored*. Simple enough, right?

     

     

    that is the truth.....aint gonna lie after creating a guild and helping 20+ people and then die because i tried to save them got old really fast. i gave up :( and now i just focus on gearing my self up but seems like there are even less new players than a couple of weeks ago.

     

    good job to a few elv mages though, faught ares groups when they just turned 180 and then the other elvs with items joined in and turned it into a nice fight for awhile. honestly at this point if you have roms or ogre rings give them out or just trade it for a zem to new players. even hp,mp 7 or 14 armor you know its just collecting dust in ur wh. dont be a cheap bastard and if you've seen a new player pretty active and playing. give them some new items that you dont need


  6. 800% skill does not change the game play what so ever. after axe breaking shield update and taming it is only apporprite to have 800% skill limit.

     

    making the game more fun and a little easier = more players i'd agree to anything that involves a chance to get new players haha or maybe im just dreaming in never never land


  7. haha sad thing is i could of sworn i had a dagger rep2 ancient awhile ago.....i think scavenger hunts should be like this. make a list of items that no one has, hard to find and collect. but next time i think you should add a little more easy stuff to collect to make it fun like 1000 slime jelly or ant something like that. or 100 fish so players would fish, 50 saphires or something so people have to fight at mlm lol that would be funny.

     

    not saying this event isnt good or anything, i think its great once again. but im just tossing out ideas for next one

  9. 1. its already hard enough for new players to get gear. drop rate is super low, elvs dominate in population, more experienced players join elvine in almost any server.Because its easier to get EKs. New players tend to join Aresden and i have absolutely no idea why. I posted this topic in hope to get some solution to get more new players and keep them. then we get idiot flames like javi here talking shit for no reason and the admins does nothing.

     

    we stayed and played hb back in the day when we were completely noobs is because we had experienced players carry us. like hb legion new players are welcomed by higher level players in parties to get faster exp. as they level they learn how to play the damn game. here we have a bunch of ignorant people thinking they are the best just because they have been here longer and have items. if you are 16 its fine but if you have gone to college and have worked before and still have the mind set of a 15 years old kid...then u need to move out of your parents house and get a job and start supporting your self.

     

    2. unbalanced stable population of players, which we can only TRY to fix because it depends on the player if they want to stay or not. But we can HELP to convince them to stay here. if we had more consistent fights, group hunts, map clearing, who wouldnt want to stay here?

     

    maybe we should do something like wipe like hb int . each player could only keep 1 set of items. what they have eqiuped. but then again, here its free to create as many accs as u want and make as many characters as u wish. maybe each IP can only keep 1 acc with 2 chars 1 mage 1 war and or just 1 char depends on what the staff agree on.

    25 USD for 7% berk hose leather 5 USD extra for chain

     

    35 USD for 14% set 5 extra for chain

     

    50 USD for 21% set berk,hose leather no chain

     

    NO M/A sets

     

    MR 21 Set is ok with Leather,berk,hose, mr 56 shield 50 USD

     

    1 week time limit and certain endurance with no un-repairable.

     

    if you make it too expensive, you would lose repeat customers. Keep it reasonable and also enough so players cant exploit this
