    Am i the only one who cannot download the new client patch or full client?

     

    Tried on 2 different systems to no avail!

     

    Could have something to do with the lack of people on?

    An new people cannot inform you as they have to create an account on the forum just to tell you...?

    About that White, I have a doubt. I original sent a pm to Jing, when he first asked to, telling about our choice. Now, what happens its that after this time, my needs/wants changed, and I would like to change my original choice (of course, sticking to the options given). Is this possible?

    Sorry for the lack of details, guys, but Farjat hasn't been feeling good lately and White[GM] has been studying for and taking his final exams. They'll be sure to let you know when they have more time to work on the update.

    **Barraks Raid and special portal (inside barrak) to arrive fast to the other barraks town (inside also).

    **PL lvl max 100

    **Farm creatures should give high exp (max lvl 180) for players who only want get mas lvl fast.

    **Tradeable Majestic Points and EK

     

     

    So sorry HB Nemesis Staff but we have to do something fast or in few months we will have about 15% less players, is so sad see in forums how old good players sell items or accounts for USD...

     

    Im sure 99% of my post will be ignored, but think about the server, is live or dead, i want play this server for more years.. not for only few months...

    sorry, i just dont agree in those.. that will bring lots of players for 1 or 2 months.. then, the server will die..

     

     

    actually some of what you said is already being done...

    you might not see the time we spend with new players, teaching them the game, but it is significant.

    Yesterday alone, I spent over 2 hours with 3 new players, helping them out and I know the other GMs do the same when they can.

     

    In a few months we will have +15% or more coming to the server.

     

    The issue is getting to those now 18-25 yr olds who played HB as a kid....letting them know there is still a server around, and a good one at that, to return to and try.

     

    Forget the 4 letter word beg with W and ending with E...that would be final death of Nemesis.

    We just had a wipe recently...not entertaining thoughts of another one.

     

    ARG server is not being closed. Period....the donations they get support the bills they generate and farjat is in it for the long haul with ARG server.

     

     

    Ettin pit...no

     

    Raising drop levels...no

     

    Gold wont have an impact...its too late for that i think. Zems are still being sold for gold, so thats good!

     

    How do we reach 20+ year olds, who used to play, and now play high-power graphic, games on XBOX live, etc? Can we reach them? i dont know....

     

    How do we get new 13-18 year olds who were not around in the days of USA and INT and Nemesis early years?

    Where do we go to reach them?

     

    Because I am convinced when we implement a few ideas we have ready to launch, people will come back to check us out, and stay to play.

    and the PVP in HB can go toe to toe with other much more sophisticated games and come out even. The PVP designers of HB were brilliant. I am still amazed they put together such an awesome game so early on.

    Maybe HB was before its time in some respects.

     

    Anyway...Im all ears for ways to reach the masses.

     

    I have to say in my oppinion HB was most definately before it's time in every respect. Epecially when it's main contender was probably Runescape (an we all know how much that sucks) yet still has millions of players purely becaue it's browser based and requires NO download. Of course making this browser based isn't an option but getting to the point, i think everyone always underestimates the power of Word of Mouth Advertising.

    If i think back, How did my freinds find Runescape before they started playing...? I told them about it.

    How did i find Helbreath? A freind of mine told me! I then (Many years later) found Nemesis!

    So my advice: Tell all your mate about Nemesis, Badger them constantly to at least TRY the game... I gaurentee any games player that loves going toe to toe with another player to see who come out on top will stay and play! Also anyone who loves Gambling will also love HB's drop system since it's based on Slot machine payouts. ^-^

     

    Morale of the story? Tell your mates, Tell your family and definately tell your enemies! Then....... kill them in PvP :D

    Just found this post, but i adopted a newbie a few months back. He now has sone O.K. items that i have managed to get him including a DM+3 for example. I answered any questions he had and helped as much as possible. He is now an active member of the guild and already has no less than 2 Max level charachters.

    I think it would be wise to say that helping others will only come back to help you.

    That "Noobie" has more than returned the help i have given them with him just passing me stones for example which benefit us both.

    Do good things and good things will happen to you! ^-^

    First, i disagree with the Chain Hose been [H], should be [C]. But ok, let it pass.

    Next problem. He put Sex Change Potion as . Ok, no problem on it. But then, he also included Ogre Potion [P] and Demon Potion [P]. That's is incorrect! If Sex Change potion is , the others are [O] and [D]. Else, all 3 potions included in the list are [P]. This means that, by any chance of understand the rules, he commited mistakes. By the way, at 01:13 pm (maybe secs ago?) AmonAmrth (Svafnir) edited his posted list, with all itens correct by the understand of the laws in this event.

     

    So... abstract: Outlaw have an INCORRECT list of itens, he dont deserve the 3th place. Amon have it correct. He should get the 3th place.

    Checked item logs and times, and it's actually a tie for 3rd place with Amon and TheOutlaw.

     

     

    For the potions, like I said, I'm not being VERY VERY VERY strict on item names counting for certain letters, because I didn't specify in the 1st post. TheOutlaw used his HP21 Chain Hose for H, and yes, I counted it because I counted someone else using a Manu Chain Hose for H as well.

     

    As for the potions, again, I counted those for P for someone else, too. Why? Because there's no "D" or "O" in "Merry Christmas Happy New Year". However, I counted S for Sex change pot and I for Invis pot too.

     

    Like I said, next time I'll make sure it's more specific, or be sure to say that it's NOT specific.

    I think this Event rule is not very clearly, and ppl keeps changing / editing their items,

    the one who got the 1st post just need to change/edit his items list and sure win 1st prize,

    how about thoes ppl who got right items but post late? they will be no chance to win the prize!

     

    I think the rule should be "everyone just can post once, and cannot edit in forum, if u wrong ,

    then sry u lose ur chance, because you hadn't to count ur items carefully b4 you posted"

     

    otherwrise, it just is a unfair event. :wacko:

     

    If necessary, I will check the item logs to make sure, but so far I haven't needed to.

     

    With Nury, for example, she had the right items already, but she posted it a little later. She was still the first person to gather all the items, and the first person to post a complete list. No problem there.

     

    For Mariano78, you can see yourself he didn't edit his post, and he had all the necessary items. No problem there, either.

     

     

    There's 1st and 2nd place right there.

     

     

    For the rest, I'll check item logs/post EDIT times (because you can see when they edited their post), and award prizes from there.

     

    I'm doing the best I can, but I'm only human.

     

     

     

    For what items actually count for letters, yes, I'm not being AS strict on that as I could, because I didn't put that in the first post. I only got White's message this morning that he couldn't run the event, so I took what he had already posted and tried to edit it the best I could. I obviously forgot one or two things, yes, but I'm trying to work with what I've already posted.
