That's how BBH works. After you get the armor to 2/3's of its full endurance, it starts to strip. So at 10,000 endurance, it'll start to strip at 6,667.

It's impossible to hit 80+ using a normal hit on anything with ANY weapon/ring/neck. I've seen 60+ on Nem1, but no higher than that.
