It does yes, but what I'm trying to say is that giving mages hero chain may mean more mages actually go for and wear hero, which means on the whole they will be using an armour set with LESS DEFENCE. Right now I don't even bother to go for hero on any of my mages, because it's just not worth it (unless I want to use it ONLY when I para someone). People are like "OMG mages have enough defence" - and this is true, when they are wearing DK. This isn't about nerfing DK or making mages stronger, it's about making mage hero usable.
