    No, he wasnt...

     

    oh that's a relief!! I am a 51 year old grandmother and not as quick or bright as these younger people. I am not good at PVP but I enjoyed the skill building parts of the game...from his post I understood I was banned...good to konw I was wrong.

    OK first it cannot be English only and Spanish only topics...you guy think this is a democracy. We give Farjat suggestions and he decides what he will...do you really think he will decide to take Spanish out of topics of interest? No? me neither. I'd like to point out that the Spanish folks explained the AFK shield training issue to Farjat well enough to get it changed ON AN ENGLISH thread...I soooo want those folks posting my stuff...

     

    NOW what this thread was about is the few folks who go to rude protesting a Spanish post like this:

    I am really embarassed that a few vocal English speaking people can hijack this forum and push towards hate. We worked too hard in the sixties and seventies for tolerance to see this happening now. I really feel like if anything can tear Nemesis apart it is the jerks posting that Spanish speaking people have to post in English. This is not an English forum. This is not a Spanish forum...it is bilingual...like we are. A specific example is Funny Girl who is the target of intolence more than any other player. He CANNOT compose in English and it is cruel to serve derision to him for that. So little puppies learn the world is big and varied or DON'T POST AT ALL!!!

    well...no...not everyone knew it...several GMs thought it was funnier than (use ur imagination) to watch the video. IF you knew it, you did not share the knowledge...leaving your friends wondering what else you haven't shared.

     

    Anyway back on topic...defense

     

    Can't recall in opponent's town

    Can't wait for auto recall (one hour on weekends...you won't last)

    Can' wait for seeds to disappear...I think I read five minutes...way too long unless you are a tank with a bag of super-reds an no one dropping blizzes...

    Can't pull...or you will be labeled as a scum-sucking bottom feeder who can't play the game with honor...probably in the forum...maybe with screenshots

     

    The only viable defense I have heard is 100% farming and a hoe in your bag. Pick one plant where noone is standing and power-grow it...run away fast...and leave them the watermelon...

    Should I stay or should I go now?

    I have Finally got my fill of the worlds of Helbreath.

     

    To me I feel there is no More secrets to be seen no more truths to uncover No more riddles to find.

     

    A while back Ago I listed the personality types that play games

     

    Socialite - One who comes just because they feel comfortable around those who they play with and use the game more as a way to comunicate...

     

    I never was one of those types...

     

    Killer - One who comes to raise hell for others. Usualy by living for the PK or EK of it.

     

    Again Nothing for me here (this task would be way too easy to try it)

     

    Adventurer - One who is goal driven to hit end game

     

    That paticular thrill in Helbreath for me ended long ago... Infact I went so far as to push for the opisiate end of that and see how much I could do at the lower levels and stay lower level doing it.

     

    and Finaly Explorer.

     

    One who digs for secrets and trys to find out everything they can...

     

    Helbreath no longer has any secrets for me...

     

    I perso*spam*y do not forsee anything truely New Here or on any helbreath server be it pay to play or free to play.

     

    Inovation and creation are flavor but this games goose is cooked and it is dry and bland (the whole title not just nemesis) Sad thing is the game died long before the valaint efforts of Good people like Farjat or Sexybitch made any attempt at keeping it alive.

     

    I have decided to move on finaly....

     

    If anyone happends to see any of my more common names in other games ask if it is me who knows might just be.

    i'm a dialup user, u would have to do a more careful search because i dont have a static ip.

     

    the character was Power1. and yes i did finally get it to join aresden because i ran through the portal after the reboot as u had mentioned. if u desire check the logs, im not a dishonest person.

     

     

     

    the questions that i asked originally are still unanswered ....and are not related to the beginner zone blocked, but the other matters.

     

    i will ask again so there isnt further confusion.

    what is being done about this [bug abuse] and [EK laming]?

    i still feel the extended ban was unwarrented but thats ur decision i suppose i'l have to live with it, but understand i am not pleased with having my time wasted, any more than u are with having yours wasted. 1 week got ur point across.

    i do not want to waste your time, i hope u will reconsider the ban. i am not sure how i can ask more clearly to avoid misunderstanding. i understand u want your server to be without cheats and exploits, thus why i reported this in the first place. all i wanted to know is: what is being done about this problems with bug and ek laming?

     

    i can offer some constructive fixes for advice.

    maybe u should make it so that only lvl 180 are EK to stop laming.

    as far as the experience exploit make the xp equal for all.

     

    i hope all of this can be resolved in peaceful manner, i'm not trying to cause problem but to resolve one.

     

    I think I am going to argue that there is not an experience exploit. I believe the increased experience on partying was written intentionally to encourage people to party. I know that I would be less than thrilled to party up with someone and "power level" them when the "power" came directly out of my next majestic. I also believe the higher level people should be getting the bigger cut...in most cases we are doing the work to earn that experience. So I really believe this "bug" is original programming and should be left alone. Thank you for considering this.

    ok Farjat...I believe in you. If you think you can manage the situation then you have my unconditional support. I do think this guy will need reward along the way to make it all work but recognition in the forum will probably go a long way towards giving him what he needs for his brilliance.

    I do not disagree with either policy...BUT...closing them all at the same time seems tyrannical AND closing both of the mass topics about the server being down leaves none for people to interact with and seems very arbitrary. I know you and I know you are neither tyrannical or arbitrary but I really felt one thread should have been left open...

     

    Whats so hard to understand about that?

    It is simply not right for the people to be closed out of these topics. We are all concerned about the server being down and what that might mean...but...hey...go ahead and put a muzzle on us.

     

    About a Medusa, one did drop about a month ago to a noob on the farm (Elvine). I don't remember who she was but Khelben talked to her about posting a SS and putting it in her warehouse.

     

    I don't guess it matters if anyone responds...I expect the thread will be closed.

    Synz, what I wanted to say that Nemesis has been wiped for quite a few times. That already counts as not lasting... if you know what I mean.

     

    Kunglao, I only know of ONE wipe...perhaps we should ask Khelben or King...but anyway paranoia sets in...who are you and why are you tinkering with the forum?

     

    Farjat, I really admire that you are working on the game with this kind of interest and dedication...maybe consider 8900 for droprate so some improvement is seen without flooding the market?

    One thing that does create lag is the discarded items laying around the map. The server has to track each item individually and they can really add up. Something as simple as ONE drop pile in each WH and shop would help because items drop off the inventory in a stack of 12...something to think about...

    It took me a minute to decide what I wanted to say so I apologize for beating a dead horse...

     

    I am still seeing grousing in the global chat ingame so...quitcherbitchin'

     

    1. My kids did not get anything near as cool as this.

     

    2. Sexy pays what must be an ungodly amount for the server so we can play for free.

     

    3. Worried about edits??? Really??? The prizes for the contests are maybe edits. The level 180, 5X experience is definitely an edit. Even the dk sets that most of you clamored for are edits.

     

    4. She put the items IN PLAY....do not think for a moment that she could not have bound them to his account.

     

    NOW, if you really have a problem with it, hunt him down, make him drop and bury the stuff. That will never happen. If you got either itme in your bag, you would be scrambling for the words that would justify you keeping it. Khelben is the only one I know who would bury them...very publicly...just to jack with folks...because that is what he does best (and enjoys most).

     

    I think you should form hunting parties and go exclusively for him...that is within the game...Khel has some wicked ideas for increasing the drops (within the structure of the game) so you should get with him and find out what the plan is.

     

    Happy Hunting or not....just quit crying like a little boy with a booboo...
