    Auto Repair

You guys are blowing that out of proportions. You're not relying on the fact that people could forget to repair a piece of armor to get your EK's do you? I strongly believe that most, if not almost everyone, will repair their entire armor. I think that it's rare to forget a piece and that isn't so much of an issue. There are reasons not to repair, for example when you are short on cash or when lots of enemies camp the BS entrance. But having to do an annoying repair action on several items is not a reason not to repair. I doubt it will change the EK yield of the game. I find the benefit of making repairs easier and quicker outweighing the fact that your EK yielding abilities are diminished very very slightly. I'm still for adding this option to make repairing less annoying.

Yep, travellers don't get hungry and don't lose any endurance. After you join a town that's gone.

    Unsafe Maps Warning

For GM's it's even more annoying. When we goto a character, we constantly see it!

How Good Is The Anti-laming System?

The anti-laming system is semi-automatic and very good. It will make a map, if you will, of your EK's and we can easily identify certain patterns. We can also easily spot people that are trying to hide their EK's (for example, when they vernture deep into the dungeons just to have a safe place from the public to lame their EK's). Some people also try to hide their EK laming by faking PvP, but in reality they are just combatting their brothers or housemates numerous times. All the above won't go undetected. I must admit we do not scan in realtime. We map the EK history of a character on a per-character basis. In reality, it doesn't matter much since you will get caught eventually - even if your EK laming is from 2 years ago the ban will still be applied. It's a permanent ban anyway. It might be a good idea to scan the top 50 characters just in case. Good suggestion.

    Items Within Servers

I think we allow it, but it works the same as a trade with real money (items from another server is considered the same as real money = external trade good). We allow it, but we don't support it. Meaning that if you get scammed you're on your own. But, posting on the forum is not allowed if you mention links and/or names of the other server in the post.

    About Amp War By Mage.

If If If If !! What if you have 10 mages with Cancellation vs 1 AMP warr. Fair? No, lets forbid Cancellation? I was trying to say you need better arguments for your suggestion. Right now, it's just a situational personal preference, which we will not embrace!!

    About Amp War By Mage.

Some people have developed a specific playstyle in their minds. What you are trying to do right here, Ali, is forcing people to adjust to your specific playstyle. In Helbreath Nemesis, the official rules condone no specific playstyle. We will not restrict warriors from using AMP, for example, just because you find it lame.

    Party Health Bar

I would think: why? What is added benefit of having this information available? And what are the potential problems? The benefit as I see it would be minor. In PVP, partying with people is uncommon (or, at least the party is used just for preventing damage on eachother). It might be useful to see your mates health and mana to give support to them, but you can already clearly see which person is being attacked, those are the ones you need to heal anyway. In PVE, I don't see any benefit. In Helbreath, the monster can only attack 1 person and you can clearly see which one the monster is attacking. For example, a TW attacks someone, all the support mages would heal him already. A HP bar would add no extra information. The problems: - Alot of extra information (relatively) would be send across the network, increasing lag and bandwidth problems. - Because the max party is 8, there would be need for room for 8 of these HP/MP bars on your screen, in addition with the name of the party member to which the HP/MP bar set belongs to. Because HB runs on 640x480, there is no good amount of room without interfering in gameplay.

    Stated Boots Xd

This will most likely not be added to Helbreath Nemesis in the near future. The general opinion amongst staff members would be that additions like these will make our server too "fruity". If you want crazy stats, unbeatable characters, fruity colors and lots of lame drops, please visit one of our competitors in that regard.

    Cant Make A Ticket!

Would be helpful if you actually posted the names of the characters on your account (I prefer it if you do not enlist your account name on the forum). Your forum name is unrelated to any ingame information we have. In regards to security we've obviously disallowed the use of certain characters. I want to know which character (in your character name) is giving you the specific problem. Let's see what we can do.

    Item Value Compare Tool

Just released a new tool available on our website. http://www.helbreathnemesis.com/compare-value.php You can compare item value there. It's based on occurances (rarity) not the strength. You have to weigh in the strength of an item yourself. If there are any bugs, please let us know.

    Item Value Compare Tool

OK I have changed the page completely. I decided that comparing to Zemstone of Sacrifice is probably the most useful thing to do. So I made a complete realtime list instead of you having to select the item you want. The list reflects the amount of items ingame compared to the amount of Zemstone of Sacrifice ingame. This will give you a good indication towards it's rarity. The thing that struck me the most is that stuff like Stone of Merien is traded for Zem or 2x Zem ingame (I guess?) while they are 7x more Zems than Merien stones ingame. So this means that the official value of Merien stones will become 7x Zem I guess ^^

    Item Value Compare Tool

Of course that's true, the tool shows you the ratio of the value between the items compared. As I said before, there is no way you can derive the amount of items ingame from this tool. One of the two items compared obviously always have a "1". It means for every 1 item ingame there are X of the other item ingame. You can use this value to get a more accurate picture of the value of items. Especially comparing to zems should be handy I guess, especially when the item exchange on web becomes available. You're right. I think I'll rename it to "Compare Item Rarity". Also removing the farming stuff. And I'm making it more clear what the value means, and that it isn't the all-deciding-trade-factor. Item strength is not weighted in the calc!!

    Item Value Compare Tool

Sure I'll remove the crap items (or unused items) to avoid scamming. Although the page clearly indicates that the strength of items are not included (nor is the demand of course I should add this). You have to weigh them in yourself. I will try to make this more clear. The factor showed (like 1:1) doesn't indicate the amount of items ingame. The minimum is always 1. You can't derive the amount of items from this page. There are no Medusa swords ingame for example, and if you compare it to another item that isn't ingame or only 1 exists then you get 1:1. (Equally rare). I'll remove Medusa however as you cant get it anyway. All data from GM chars are excluded! Bound items or not, doesnt matter. I also think the Zem comparison is most useful, might be in the end that it will become a compare to for just item X towards zem. Dont know yet. Thanks for feedback so far.

    Looking For Agahim

Yes, a character with the name "agahim" exists. His char was last used today so it's still active. So you should be able to reach him ingame. However, posts like this don't belong in the General section of our forums so I'm locking it. Good luck in contacting him.
  17. I'm very proud to announce the world's first online item exchange for Helbreath. No server has ever done this before! I'm working on finishing this up very soon. But, before I do I want to see if there are any cool ideas or suggestions I can include. I'm sure many of you at some point considered what it would be like when such a service was added to Helbreath (be it ingame or on website). Here is how it works in general: You login to your account on the website. Then you can pick "New Item Exchange". On that page you can see your account's online status and a list of all the items from all of your character's warehouses (combined list). You can also select between two types of trades: - Freeform item exchange: you select an item and is put online. People are then free to offer what they want for it. You can then personally select an item from the offers; - Auction: you set which item(s) you need for buyout. All other offers are considered "bids" and work the same way as freeform item exchange. If someone offers equal to or better then the buyout items they will immediately acquire the items discarding the bidding proces. Trades last for 7 days max. After the 7th day is over, the items are returned to their original owners. Of course you need to be offline to be able to put up an item exchange. Your item is removed from the warehouse as long as the trade is running. Once the item exchange is complete, your new items appear in your control panel where you can put them back on one of your characters (also need to be offline for this). As a buyer you can browse a list of available item exchanges others have put up (you can filter this list for specific items you want to search for). Once you found an item exchange you can bid or buyout. Bidding an item will cause it to be removed from your warehouse (only warehoused items are available for exchange). I will add some screenshots later.

    Suggestions For Online Item Exchange

For starters you can do this manually by first transferring items to your web WH. Then once there's room, you transfer from char to char and then you transfer more to web WH. Rinse and repeat :P In the end u have all items on 1 account I guess.

    Joint Warehouse Or Guild Warehouse

Preview of web WH. You can see the web warehouse in the menu on the left. All the transferrable items are listed. The color of the item is also shown (handy for capes). You can click the transfer button to transfer the item to the web warehouse (from then on you can choose to trade them or put them in shared guild WH). You can do the same to web warehouse items (transfer back to game warehouse). See the green circles. Transfer button transfers the ENTIRE item stack. If you need to split up the stack, u need to do this ingame. I cant do it on web without causing dupes. Web warehouse can store unlimited items. This is a way to go around the 150 item limit ingame without having to make alot of trade chars. The warehouse of all chars on the account combined are shown. I took Hunter as an example as he has a fat WH... lol

    Hb Int Old School

I agree with both. Gold is so useless because you don't need it. Well yes, only for repairs/pots and in the beginning the magic spells. But aside from that, Gold has no purpose and there is plenty available. To make the Gold more interesting, we need to add more ways to spend Gold. It's how basic economics work (demand/availability). Right now, availability of Gold is VERY high and demand is VERY low making it's value very low. So that's the part that agrees with the OP. I agree with Vampyr because I don't find it comfortable that rare items can be purchased with Gold. Of course this makes Gold more interesting to have, but it will devalue rare items as an opposite effect which we're not looking to do. So I guess the general idea is good, but we need to think of something else to spend Gold on :P

    Joint Warehouse Or Guild Warehouse

As part of the new item auction feature on the website, a "web"-warehouse will be available. It seems that it will be little effort to make a shared guildwarehouse in addition to this. With log and all. So not ingame but through website, does that solve everything? Anyone see a problem with this?
