    Dk Set

We are already working on this as we post :-)

    Server Clock Fix

European people like to match their timezones against GMT. Therefore I will tell you all that Dallas is in UTC/GMT -5 hours. If you live in Central Europe you have CET currently which is GMT+1. This means the difference is 6 hours (server time is 6 hours earlier). Just wanted to add that.

    The Mystery's Of Rep

That's possible. Here is how it works: 0 PK count = if NPC, drop 1 item (if it picks bound-item like DK set, nothing is dropped) 0 PK count = if enemy player, drop 2 items 1-3 PK count = drop 3 items (if you lucky, it picks 3 DK set items and nothing is dropped) 4-11 PK count = drop 6 items 12 or higher PK count = drop 12 items It has nothing to do with REP. The items dropped are completely random as well.

Can you elaborate on what exactly you mean by 100% crystalwares are bugged, please?

    The Mystery's Of Rep

This has nothing to do with rep. Your PK count determines the amount of items dropped.

    Rightious Dont Work

And 1 more thing adjusts rep. I've now searched entire source for anything REP related because of this topic and another one. In addition to all of the above, if you PK someone you get -10 rep.

    The Mystery's Of Rep

None of the information above is true. Please check the other topic about righteous weapons for the correct information. Rep is only applied to righteous and kloness weapons. Nothing else. Drop is completely random.

    The Mystery's Of Rep

    Rep doesn't influence drops.

    Rightious Dont Work

If I'm not wrong, they don't give negative rep. Atleast as far as I remember. Should not be hard to test in here nowadays :) It's a rumour, some1 want's to prove it? :) You're right. Up until now I've always thought guard -5 and unicorn -10. I don't know why. I just checked it in Nemesis, only Unicorn gives -2 rep. Try it out if you want, it's true. The other stuff I checked before I posted it.
  11. The second suggestion is a bug. This happens only when Crusade has passed. It is a feature of the Crusade but it isn't disabled when the Crusade stops. I'll look into this bug. The other suggestion seems like a good idea as well.
  12. Jaapy

    Rightious Dont Work

Ah yes. I forgot about that. Guard gives -5 rep and Unicorn -10 rep. The rest of the creatures don't alter your rep.

    Poll- Penalty For Pulling Plug

I might :P I consult with farjat first though. Fixes for pulling are still being discussed in another topic. It's irrelevant for this discussion.

    Rightious Dont Work

Well to put a long story short... the websites contain rumours. Someone in the past said that this is how rep works and everyone copies it. All the official servers work as I described it. Everything based on HBx source is based on what you describe. Nemesis is not based on HBX, so just ignore these websites for what they state about rep.

    Tp Abuse During Crusade

Oh I thought you people already knew :-) This issue has been addressed already. In version 4.51, you cannot use the teleport if you were damaged during the last 10 seconds. This is the same restriction as a Recall scroll. v4.51 comes soon. I don't know exactly when, probably this week.

    Rightious Dont Work

I will explain it to everyone here how righteous, kloness and rep works: Mysteries about rep: 1) You can use /rep+ and /rep- every 20 minutes to change a player's reputation rating. 2) At any time, you cannot have more than 10000 rep. You also cannot have less than -10000 rep. 3) The rep get reset to 0 if you exceed 10000 rep, but you can never exceed it. So this only applies to GM characters or hackers. 4) Check your rep with "/rt" or "/rating " or "/Rating " (note the space) Mysteries about kloness items: 1) Kloness items give bonus damage of up to +5 to NPC, +10 to players. (PER KLONESS ITEM! SO MORE KLONESS = GOOD) 2) For NPC: kloness item give +X bonus damage (max 5), where X is your rating / 100. If your rating is <= 0, no bonus damage is applied. 3) For player: kloness item give +X bonus damage (max 10), where X is your enemies rating / 10 * -1. You receive no bonus damage when your enemies rating is positive (>= 0). (Example: your enemy has -22 rep, you get +2 bonus damage per kloness item). 4) There is one exception to (3): "Kloness Necklace" gives a different bonus value: enemy rating / 20 * -1. So if that same enemy has -22 rep, you get +1 bonus damage from Kloness Necklace. Mysteries about righteous weapons: 1) Righteous weapons give bonus damage of up to +10. 2) The bonus is only applied if your enemy has negative (< 0) rep. 3) To calculate bonus do: enemy rating / 10 * -1 (max 10). 4) Righteous weapons have nothing to do with your own rating... 5) Oh yea, righteous doesnt work against NPC. Conclusion: righteous sux and kloness rule :-) I hope that clarifies everything a bit.

    Paralyze

Changes to the Paralyze spell are not likely. The suggested changes are not really necessairy.

    Itenz From A Banned Char

Hi raMz I can arrange for these items to be delivered back to you and Wonsz. Just be patient, I'll try to give them back as soon as possible.

    A /tooff Change

Yes there is no limit. All these people are saved to tooff.lst file. You can view this outside Helbreath and manage it too. When you open Helbreath, this list is loaded. All chat from these people are blocked.
  20. Jaapy

    A /tooff Change

Ok. Here is what happened: 1) I've made this suggestion into the Helbreath client. You can now /tooff multiple people and this is saved to CONTENTS\tooff.lst. 2) farjat responded to this functionality with "great!" 3) farjat and I tested it (hehe he spammed me :D) 4) The test was succesful. 5) New command: /cleartooff (to delete entire tooff list) So the conclusion: it is likely that this feature is available in v4.51.
  21. Jaapy

    A /tooff Change

You guys mean that /tooff is not saved when you logoff? It's probably easy to make it so that a list is saved in a file on your Helbreath folder with the names you /tooff'd. This would be character independent, but you will see the messages on other computers (computer dependent). It's harder (but doable) to make it save in server. I can imagine that Nemesis would not want this addition.

    Complete Droplist

I'm not a staff member at this point. Just to be clear. The droplist won't come back in the form I've published it. Whenever the new website is released, it will contain a droplist in another form (without specific 1 on X rates). It's alot of work to keep these rates up-to-date. For now, you'll have to wait. I'm happy to tell you what the creatures drop in the meanwhile, that should be no problem. Just ask. Rates are not published anymore. And ramz: your question should probably go in it's own topic. I can tell you that these guys do not play Helbreath anymore. I think they're not banned anymore, but I doubt they will ever log back in and give the stuff back - that's what I think.

    Some Wonderings.

You're right. The suggested limits might be too strict. Maybe the right question is what exactly is EK laming? When do you qualify as an EK lamer and is there a way to detect this automatically (not by hand, but effortless).
  24. Jaapy

    Some Wonderings.

Nah I wouldn't worry about that. These timers only occupy minor memory on the server. I think lorraine's server is quite powerful so it's fine. There is no need for extra information being sent to client so it won't increase network lag (except maybe a message indicating that no EK is gained, but I think it's not necessairy).
  25. Jaapy

    Some Wonderings.

It's very easy to introduce another type of chat with a different color (purple-ish?). For example the ampersand (&) is unused, or the percentage (%) character. If you use this chat, only people from your level category will see the message (just like EK categories), for example: Level 1 - 30 Level 31 - 80 Level 81 - 140 (PL raider chat, also handy because people in ML won't see this!) Level 141+ A GM would be able to see any level message and everyone can see the GM messages. Just want to add the following: this is not a global restriction. You can kill ONE SINGLE CHARACTER once every two hours. A different character can also be killed once every two hours, etc. For example, I would be able to kill "farjat" once, then the timer starts for his character. When I kill "farjat" again within 2 hours I receive no EK point. When I kill "Skyas" within the same period, I get an EK and a seperate timer starts running for that character... In addition to the 1 kill per 2 hour limit, also a 5 kill per day limit is introduced in the same way. You can kill "farjat" only 5 times a day for EK. If you kill him a sixth time you get none. The restrictions apply during crusade as well. Laming EK's would become a tedious task this way. Big advantage is that GM's won't have to search actively for EK lamers which frees them for other tasks. For normal PVP characters, this won't make too much difference. Especially during crusade, where you kill lots of different people. Also... the suggested limit is also just a guess - it needs some time to experience what it's like. If it's too restrictive, it's always possible to loosen it up a little. Here are some variants to consider: *1* Once pulled, you stay ingame for X seconds. Everything can hit you. You won't be able to pull anymore since this will mean death for sure. But, disadvantage is that people that really D/C legally are in big trouble as well. Especially during training/hunts/PVE - where D/Cs happen legally very often. *2* Once pulled, you stay ingame for X seconds. Only players can still hit you, not monsters. Well you fix the problem with the common D/C during PVE issue. But when you PVP and you get a legal D/C this will certainly still mean that you die. It depends on how often this occurs naturally for this to be a real problem. *3 (farjat suggestion)* Once pulled, you stay ingame for X seconds. Only players can still hit you, not monsters. You D/C immediately if you haven't received any damage during the last Y seconds (30+?). I don't think this makes a big difference, because you will D/C immediately mostly from idle situations only. All other situations will be the same as *2*. *4* Once pulled you stay ingame for X seconds. Only players can still hit you, not monsters. If you die, you don't drop items but you only give an EK point. This is a compromise mainly. The chasers still get their precious EK, but the puller can still pull to save his item which probably won't reduce pulling at all - it will just make pulling less annoying.
