  1. Taming takes a lot of work, hard to get % and to punish people now would suck a lot... DE is literally one of the last monsters you can tame before demons (highest monster), so high skill of course its powerful. Im sure takes very skilful tamer to do some HC hunt like this, and im sure its not very quick to kill either. Take time to set up pit, time to tame successfully, good luck in getting non-ap and non-zerk hc or whole hunt blown, and all the time you can be raided easily and die. What if suddenly spawn get you? what if your tames untame themselves before hc die (start killing each other + you), have to start again from scratch and as you tame 1 or 2 hc and de's attacking them straight away -.- 5 monster isn't enough to do more than hc solo, 5 demons who don't even regen hp or mp isn't killing TW or wyv or dragon or abb, only hc that creeps just about into range of tamer to solo.

     

    Where is the staff discussion on 50 alchemy skill (easy) for invis pots? less overpower than 1 easy ek in toh3? PFA hc and hunt over, he can't even carry pots he need so many tame whips.

     

    A few mages can easily and quite safely kill IW and get 6-7 drop squares each time, 2nd drop guaranteed, that's 1-2 drop square per person every couple minutes, with better chance of decent item drop than HC 1 square drop that might not even drop anything, and Wyverns takes no skills or training at all, just mag. A dedicated 200 chr tamer can't really ek either, he has to be good for something right? How overpowered is dark elfs? most warriors train there for exp and drops easily, but because one player was clever now we must try to change it, pretty much the same as saying "well you worked hard and had some great ideas, but that's unfair on lazy or stupid players so we need to stop it".

     

    Best way to resolve this problem is to remove HC from toh3 spawn point if its really so outrageous. Plenty HC in DC and a nice one in ML aswell.


  2. well since 1 person can't beat a uni without mass items, but a uni also can't really chase a person to be useful, it basically becomes like a protection tower.

     

    how about we make builder class: based on chr, you can build up to 3 towers (at 200 chr). 50 chr to train Construction skill to max. We make tree hittable square like mining rock, and it gives you wood (gp could also drop). Also need stone piece from mining cliffs or sg drop. Similar pieces like clay can also be mined from brown mining rocks in grassy maps near water (this is where clay usually came from in old times), also can drop from cg. Could also have nails (black hellhound teeth), hinges(black ant legs), springs (black shop necklace), washers (black shop rings), box of gears (beef rib box), and bag of ball bearings (money bag) from manufacture. Use builders anvil to form construction kit, and skill % determines what kit you can make. All sade constructions can be built at 100% construction. Mana collector replenish small mp 5x5 box (great for hunt). Shield generator acts like increased MA/PA for 3x3 (effect does not stack with more tower). Also will be Health collector to heal small hp 5x5 box. Detect and arrow/cannon towers act as normal. Towers last 120 secs up to 50 chr, and increasing to 440 at 200 chr, and will also be less hp than normal tower. Builds like normal tower, but faster with higher %. If at tower limit for your chr, placing a new construction set doesn't kill last tower, but building completion will critically explode oldest tower if still alive. Can only place 5 construction set at any time and they self destruct if not built within 60 seconds. Skill is increased by successfully hitting when building towers AND making construction sets with builders anvil. Towers also restricted as normal to how close they can be placed together (1 space for mana collector, DT, or shield generator. 2 space for arrow/cannon)

  3. TBH axe stripping is very good, all decent wars used it at neme 2, right now noone has schooled the new warriors on how it is done.

     

    Please keep in mind a war with items its pretty much unkillable where a mage is always weak =(

     

    Btw jun on your last statement. 90% of the times elv actually fights I get atleast my chain stripped =(

    war in mass mr is still going to get hit some of the time against good hp wand, and in MR gear he is weak to the clicking!

     

    remember davinci had dr set all 70+ and was untouchable to all but my fistings =P

     

    anyway, 200/200 intmag should be kinda fragile right? 200/200 strdex is hard to complain because you know you are glass hammer.


  4. Im glad everyone is debating and not just insulting, so i'd like to keep that feeling going!

     

    Tower shield endurance is massive, 40 str can use, and takes a long time for 1 person to break through, please test this with any bs axe and see how this is (I can only test with warx because low str).

     

    Are some mages really complaining that bbh is over power or stripping their dk fast? i'm not hammer user but I have yet to see a single dk piece strip in a battle, even long ones.

     

    I am enjoying the game, even if im always on here with new comments, complaints, or suggestions. I don't want easy-mode, but I would like to para a warrior and not just slap air for 15 seconds when a mage can ek in 2 blizz during sade.


  5. I'll agree zem, x, and m, drop way too often from slimes, skells, etc.

     

    having safe +3 counter acts this somewhat since everyone can +3 everything (and fail a lot too) so x stones are burned through pretty fast keeping x-stone value good.

     

    I'm supporting Ray-Ban in this thread, but its annoying to read when anyone puts "this is my idea, as you can see server is losing players, so must be because of this, do my idea". Everyone should make suggestions because they would either enjoy the game more (not made easier) if suggestion was acted, or it would help something where its unfair for someone/unbalance, like a bug almost.

     

    I'm playing mage at the moment, nearly max lvl. IF I can get 50 ek and no death with BS item I will screenshot the char, bag, and ek list, and offer this as evidence to re-think balance.


  6. pretty much sums up what a lot of different people have been saying, but all together doesn't seem like a bad package since no one feature is an extreme change.

     

    how often do people log on, do 1 d3-d4 quest, get bored and log off? unlock them just reduce exp by 10-20% is great idea!


  7. did anyone even read my post till the end? I said these aren't even game breaking problems so why waste your time trying to disprove them?

     

    regardless, here's how the rest of the argument is going to go:

     

    "Both strip equally fast if all hits hit. Armour break hits all armours, hammer armour strip only hits 1 at a time, and not all warriors have hammers, but all mages have armour break"

     

    "why would a mage want to strip dk anyway it has no effect on magic?"

     

    "Very few weapons provide constant hit without missing a reasonable amount of the time, especially when hitting the face, and mages have invis pots/pretend corpse for this anyway"

     

    "the vast majority of mages do have the small amount of dex and str to get good dk armor and dodge & shield skill"

     

    "warriors can have 100%mr, but so can mages, comparing apples to apples isn't ideal when the classes require different things"

     

    "a mage has range, and so does a warrior - bow: a weapon with low damage to begin with, and entirely defeated by a circle 3 spell"

     

    Believe it or not I actually enjoy this conversation as there are always new things to contribute to it, and from time to time I see a decent rebuttal as well.
