    Ok i have no problem with this (cof, cof, lier), i just wonna see how my damage will reduced if i go from 200 str to 160.

    But as you say i will go first and then i will know how my damage is reduced, and roll back if i dont like it :P

  2. the info i posted is not related to CAD as a weapon stat, it means different weapons (skill) have their own bonus when you hit consecutive attacks,

     

    example, you hit with a blacksmith Flameberg, Claymore, or event DK sword ( Long Sword Skill)>>> 1st consecutive hit adds +0 to casual damage (hit dice of the weapon itself), 2nd consecutive damage =+1, 3rd =+2, 4th start all over again the combo.

     

    lets put an example:

     

    Flameberg. (S-M mob) = 2d10+0

    first hit: Max dmg= 2d10+0=20

    (starts combo)

    second Hit: Max dmg =2d10+0=20

    3rd Hit: Max dmg= 2d10+1=21

    4th Hit: Max dmg= 2d102= 22.

     

    Esterk. (S-M mob) = 1d7+0

    first hit: Max dmg= 1d7+0=7

    (starts combo)

    second Hit: Max dmg =1d7+2=9

    3rd Hit: Max dmg= 1d7+4=11

    4th Hit: Max dmg= 1d7+6= 13.

     

     

    same goes for each skill with the info posted above.

    Ok if CAD dmg is before zerk its ok :) numbers go well now. But im not sure CAD goes before zerk :P

    So I do as hunter says before make a new topic, i look in helbreath portal (USA Server) and i have formula for normal dmg+str bonus as i say in firs thread. I ask to guildmates and no one be sure about formula (or dont care XD, but im a mathematic boy je)

    The zerk + bonus (like rep,Dk, rings, necklace) after zerk I take from CAD/REP topic that white explain it so well.

    But whith this formula i cant get my 98 dmg XD (98 with cad yes, but no my new 100 and 190 str), so i ask.

  4. The title says it all, i want to know how the damage formula works. Because I can not figure out how it is possible to get from 26 to 98 damage with zerk, dk15, 200str, dm+4 and ring of dragon (i make -100 with 190 str and same weapon, but i cant bealive my self)

    as i know the common formula with zerk is

    (WAPON DMG+WEAPON DMG*STR BONUS)*2 + DAMMAGE BONUS (DK+RING+NECKLACE)

    as i know str bonus is str/10*2%

    so its would be

    (26+26*40%)*2 + 15 + 4 + 4 as max damage in my case, and that is 36.4*2 + 23 = 95.8 not 98 or 100

    I dont know if CAD add some damage if weapon dont have rep.

    I would love to see the response of someone who knows about the topic in Nemesis (developer will be the best)

    What happen if the weapon doent have rep like dk15 you has any kind of bonus of consecutive hits?

    if not i dont understand how with 200 str (40% bonus) + zerk + rod + dm3 i can hit 98. correct me 26 (max dk)*1.4=36.4 * 2 = 72.8 + 15 (dk) + 4 (rod) + 3 (dm) = 94.8 ~ 95 max hit but not 98.

    maybe u did dash attack? dash has extra bonus too.

    Im not a noob it was not dash attack i just try to find the mathematic formula of damage and how can i go from 26 to 98 if formula its ok (i doubt that)

    ss from my hit and i invite all who want to see (it take me 5 min in ww to take this SS, imposible to be dash attack because i had one hand in mouse and another on Print screen button)

    and White im quite sure that is not how rep works, simple test on a dummy or a crop at farm, those have 0 def and I tested. I can do all consecutive hits (never fail) but my crit5 rep5 hammer never goes over 45...

    I think its: every time u hit consecutive it adds the rep+ to the hit, for example you hit 30 first time, no bonus, second hit didnt fail and hit 25+5, 3rd hit didnt fail and hit 31+5, etc, etc.

    I think its a like white says. But rep has a limit of 3 consecutive attacks (it was in inter sever if i dont has a bad memory) and its casual dammage + rep*consecutive hits (max 3 times) if not, as orlan says and make me laught to much, you could hit with a dagger rep 7 like -70 to a dummy.

    no, you're actually close to this.

     

    let me explain it exactly:

     

    you weapon damage dices do NOT change or increase or decrease at all.

     

    What happens is, if you hit me the first time, you'll hit your casual damage.

    If you hit me again, and succeed, you'll hit me for your casual damage + your rep damage (-> rep 7 adds 7 damage)

    If you hit me once again, and succeed, you'll hit me for your casual damage + your rep damage * 2 ! (-> rep 7 adds 14 damage !)

    If you hit me then again, and succeed, you'll hit me for your casual damage + your rep damage * 3 ! (-> rep 7 adds 21 damage)

    If you hit me then again, and succeed, you'll hit me for your casual damage + your rep damage * 4 ! (-> rep 7 adds 28 damage)

     

    If you fail to hit me, the chain is broken and you'll start again at 1 times your rep damage.

     

    Hitting a chain of 4 v players is EXTREEMLY hard to succeed at, v mobs it's little more easy to do, but still hard on high lvl mobs.

     

    the additional damage you gain from your hitting chain is NOT doubled when being zerked a.k.a. it's added after the zerk-calculations.

     

     

    I hope this clearify's the REP damage of weapons.

     

    P.S., timma, you were close, what you mention is basicly right in the view of damage addition, but you actually gotta write it as 2D12+0+7

     

    the 2D12+0 is used as basic values for the calculations, on these values the str bonus, HP bonus, crit bonus, zerk bonus etc is calculated, and rep damage is not affected by any of these, it's just the rep damage, nothing less, nothing more.

  7. Si hay algo que hizo que el Nemesis sobreviviera tanto tiempo es la seriedad con la que se han tomado las cosas siempre los gms. Y si justamente yo volvi a jugar al HB despues de 6 a?os y vine a este server es porque era el ?nico que me inspiraba confianza de que se iba a mantener igual en el tiempo. Aca en la argentina despues del p2p surgieron miles de servers con mucha exp/ muchos drops/muchos gms dando items, etc etc etc. Por lo tanto resetear seria algo que realmente no seria serio....

    Como dijo dario yo dejaria de jugar instanteamente porque no tengo todo el tiempo del mundo para jugar, y si lo hago es porque me encanta y resigno mucho para hacerlo. Y coincido con nury que la peor parte del internacional fue cuando abrieron el arg (y seguimos en el int porque era serio a pesar del raid y lo del barrack, son males menores al momento de levantar un server) en ese momento habia 30 on...de los cuales 7 eramos nosotros y el resto afq en wh.

    Ahora en ingles..

  8. One of my birthday came all the old characters helbreaths (corv4x and others) and when finished beer or cigarettes, one said I would love to teleport to the drugstore. Finally when we went to the drugstore and find two or three closed, some said damn teleport never lets me where I want to ...When come back to the party no one understand why we still laughting..


  9. Im Old School. Played Int before the p2p when te GiS, Abbadon, Toh, IC, wings, horns, hats, caps, etc,etc didn't existed. And when Criticals weapons were called Deadly, and when the Baxe had importance LOL

    i'm playing since those days too, though i dont remember how i was called back then.

    i played hbint before and after the p2p, after that i played hbusa, then switched to WoW and now i'm back here.

    hbint before the p2p was the best time i had on hb, where constantly there were like 2000+ people on at any given time, noob dungeon was like a crusade fight at any given time, ice strike was as effective as blizzard back then, i also remember the barrack raiding and the first toh hunts. the good old days ;).

    how a korean ares mage called TheBoy terrorised the entire server with his energy strike hehe, and wu-long, and all those other great old players.

     

    I remember this old days..i started to play whith my friend Poxipol, in this times going throw internal field was like go into battle field without inv. The Golem were inmortals!! Al the ppl talking in corean..And with 0 lag. My first skill was long bow 100% lol, my char was an ares war 105 lvl (like year to go this lvl) Serenisima and was a Great Sword player with a loooot of vit..i was inmortal lol...I remember a few characters...Wu-long was one, venom another, corv4x, and kenpito sounds me too..I left HB when p2p, and come back to play since 20 days in this server..(a lot of changes since internatinal, so you may say im noob, because i always ask about every change i dont know lol)

    Well it was interesting reading about the feelings i had this times (like Demons was Goodlike jajaja) Cyaz
