    DestructionOfMagicProtection: Monsters that can shoot magic (skeleton being exeption) can be DOMP

     

    AP: Monsters that dont use magic cant be AP (skele being exeption?)

     

    AM: Pretty much everything can be AM?

  2. I replied only to Forsaken, why do you put your noses where you don have to? Vampyr your the last person i could recognize as a good player. Just with your 18 crits and run+ recall philosophy makes me sick, pls dont comment when its not with you keep yourself out of things you cant handle ( never learned) pls ty bye.

    It was good fight from what Ive heard and what Ive seen, if and I mean IF the rules were not changed I believe we'd have another k-blade in Survivors right now, but the rules were changed... end of the story.

     

    Also the match up war + mage vs 2 wars was not good idea, we should have either put 2 mages or 2 wars against Gimlin and White.

     

    I think our participants Josh and Worm are both outstanding players and they fought well, the war + mage combo just didnt work vs 2 wars in this kind of event.


  4. Agreed with tbone. Make a timer that makes it so you cant recall within 5 seconds of damage.

     

    Yeah but make it another way around, that you can actually recall anytime you want but it takes few secs untill the recall activates and if ur being damaged while the countdown u gotta cast the recall again.


  5. simple fix to this actually.

     

    after cast, include a timer.

     

    eg : cast recall, then on ur screen shows :

     

    Recalling in 4 secs

    Recalling in 3 secs

    Recalling in 2 secs

    Recalling in 1 secs

     

    Should any damage be taken during countdown, the spell cancels. Its same principle as logout or restart on death timer.

    I think this is an easy fix for the skilled coders this server has. Heck, with some luck i might be able to do this myself lols.

     

    EDIT : I think recall shld be left the way it is now though, recall having a longer recall timing would affect the newer players.

     

    If its coded well and it works fine, new players would only see that this server is being kept updated.

    And to be honest Im more worried about the old players leaving than new players coming, because I see some good players leaving every week and I can only see few new players who usually quits in first few days/ weeks.

    From my experience recall as it is has been, is one of the main reasons for old hb players to leave nemesis or not to play it and go for another servers.


  6. Ok, the conversation about recall timer has been goin on forever, but I got a different kind of suggestion to make that spell a little bit less annoying and at the same time pvp a little bit more enjoyable.

     

    Suggestion: Double the casting time for recall

     

     

    Just a simple idea that crossed my head, this way you would still be able to recall whenever needed, just not while being damaged. This suggestion is made, so pvp action could be more enjoyable.

     


  7. Great move >> making those overpowered mages even more powerfull and make the difference even bigger between wars/ mages.

    Ofcourse its a rare spell and I believe no1 has it yet, but it may cause troubles in future.

    I'm saying this as an inactive player so Im not on either class's side.

     

    Oh and dont get me wrong, Im glad to see new things brought to helbreath, but all those wars out there would like some new toys aswell!

     

    i guess if this keeps going i will have to show some people this still is a dictatorship.

    Leave SLYONE alone.

     

    I dont think any1 was whining about SLYONE's edit items (if there were'nt any posts removed), people were only voicing out their consern about possible problems in the balance between classes and towns IF Tyrone got some of these new spells.


  8. asif my leather is useless! it has low endurance but against 5-7mages and im pfmed i last fine,it has never broken once,i only use it against mages,never against wars,

     

    wat % of mp armour would my leather be worth though?mp49,mp14,mp28 berk.

    is that worth hp84 leather?

     

    assuming its 49 leather, 14 hose, 28 berk... I would say no.

    For hp84 leather you could get like berk/ hose mp49-56 if you're lucky, or mp63-77 leather.. Or a set that u described above.. and I would rather take 1 good piece than crappy set.

    Guess i'll don a MR set and start blizzing garden without PFM.

     

    Stay invi and check how the spawn move, you will notice the spawn follow to one GP.

    Also you can hold the Leader, invi yourself and the spawn will not move, then you can blizz in line...

     

    That only goes for bigger spawns, usually gp's respawn in pairs so..

    Monsters follow amped players better than pfmed players, but amping urself makes u lose more mana.

     

    Didn't know that! I shall AMP myself from now on.

    You'll notice a difference, but even if you were using no protection spells some of the mobs would still turn around and walk away.


  10. this rule might benefict mages, remember that a mage/war can run from a war for 5 secs to recall easy, but u cant run from a mage without getting hitted (unless he has a horrible aim)

     

    Long distance blizzards/ other spells are easy to dodge.. this recall timer would be addition that benefits all class types.

     

    Eldon you are right that its team based game and that is just another reason to add recall timer.. See most annoying thing ever is being in a middle of group fight getting some1 parad, having 5 guys critting him and he gets to recall because 40+ dmg doesnt interrupt his cast... some1 is going to think he is smart while saying "make some1 hit norm hits insted crits"... well if the parad enemy is war or dex mage getting actual hit within the very short time it takes to cast recall without the additional hp that critical hits gives you is pretty damn low.

     

    Adding recall timer to max lvl players would be an awesome addition and it would most likely make alot of more players to join nemesis (including lots of old Survivor players). lets say its 3-5 seconds u have to wait after being damaged to recall, if you are not parad/ badly stunned/ frozen you can easily avoid being damaged and escape the situation... and in the other hand if you are parad/ badly stunned/ frozen you arent supposed to be able to escape easily.

     

    I do not understand why this would not be changed. From personal experience, there are VERY FEW situations in which you have no other option to evade death besides recall. It is very hard to raid on a warrior, knowing that 1 cast can stop you from getting an ek, this is a little different than a mage cause mages have blizz, a damage spell that also freezes. A big thing that I have always argued against, 15 second para, already cripples warriors enough. Noone likes to be eking, have someone recall and pm you "jaja 10 hp noob", its annoying and unnecessary.

    My solution, as previously mentioned, make it so you cannot recall within 10 seconds of damage if you are above level 150. At level 150 you can properly defend yourself, and have enough stat points to evade death by other means. To ignore this problem is to live in ignorance of whats going on in the server.

     

    The 1st sentence goes already wrong... There are no situations in which you have no other options but to recall, if you get in such situation, something has gone wrong earlier.

    This sounds like farjats doings. As much as I like nemesis, probably the biggest consern for me has been farjat's discretion.

    Farjat tends to do things, just because he can. He does not take any critisism or negative words about himself.. That doesnt seem like a grown up man to me.

     

    Hope I'm not being punished just because I said it out loud.

    Alright, well I just assumed it was farjat.. And atleast I got a chance to speak my mouth clear =P

  14. I think DS damage is fine on zerk/normal swings. Same with lightning blade.

     

    What I've seen of gbh, it sucks. But I guess it has more strip probability (30%?). Haven't seen many crits.

     

    What I gather from ds/lb (and even k blade) is that crits seem to not calculate properly. They do very random damage, and alot of the time the crits are lower than zerk swings or dashes. I don't know if the calculation is correct or not, because I don't look at the files.

     

    K Blade would also be heaps better, but as most people witness there seems to be an issue with the reputation on HB Nemesis. No one besides Lii uses any form of a righteous weapon (besides maybe whoever has the kwand I heard about)

     

    KB crits seems to be fine, I've had couple of chances to test Lii's kb and its as high as its supposed to be.

     

    But what Ive seen from LB, its dmg and especially crit dmg is pretty damn low. This same problem were seen in neme1 when ds dropped, its dmg was something like sharp gis and I think such rare weapons like ds and lb should be quite effective.

     


  15. Unfortunately Im gonna have to say Survivors arent taking part in the event, atleast I am not cause I cant come at that date.

    I will inform the rest of our guild and if they want to participate its up to them.

    But for now, Survivors are unjoining (is that even a word? =D)
