  1. Well the HP formula was edited for Nemesis 2 to decrease the maximum HP. I'm sure they could do it. Its just a matter of finding a good balance and still maintaining the HP and regen advantage lower str characters have.

     

    Perhaps instead of having a system where each strength point contributes to HP have a system of bonus's. At 100 str theres a bonus, 130 str a bonus, 160 str a bonus, 180 str a bonus 200 str a bonus towards vit.

     

    I think taking away tower shields will be very critical to mages.

     

    I think it would be better to change warriors for the better, than to change mages for the worse if you get my drift.

     

    Taking away the towers from mages would not be critical... Other shields are also extremely usefull... just a lagi, or iron or even targe shield with 100% shield skill is quite damn good, not to mention its easy to get statted shields.

     

    ok. After thinking of this problem and about Jing's idea I have few thoughts. I think shields should stay, but dk sets should be gone.

    DK removing brings few new problems: stripping, endurance of armors. Make all different hammers have some kind of chance to strip armor? Like.. Hammer 5, bh10 and bbh15%? The endurance problem? hmnn..I dont know exactly how much does every hit reduce endurance, but lowering it might work? This way of change would also effect war vs war fights, which are boring atm.

     

    Thats exactly the reason I have suggested removing dk sets... Sure highering shield str req's would balance war vs mage a bit... but war vs war would still be extremely boring.

     

    I would be happy to see the following to make warriors stronger relative to mages:

    - Adjusted vit formula (like vamp suggested)

    - Removal or nerfing of DK armor

    - Or some sort of increased damage/hp

     

    I think shield casting is a great little piece of HB skill - taking that would be pretty rough.

     

    for the millionth time... there would still b other shields! =D

     

    i think mages are really a bit stronger than they should, but i dont agree very much on most ideas.

    str increasing for shields: cut the increase at half, for tower shield it increased 60 str points, cut to 30, and might work, because mages need sum extra dr, or they get easily stunned.

     

    removing dk: every1 always complained about builds variety, and now when we finally start to see sum dk15 wars, and 160 str, it would simply come back to every1 holding a bbh.

     

    and about pfm X shield mshield, a mage can usually survive to 5 wars using tower and mshield while trying to run away, but a war not geared hardly ever stand a chance against 5 mages atacking him when hes trying to get away, even pfmed.

     

    my suggestion would be a slight decrease on both mage and wars pa of dk, or reducing the mshield pa, 30 is too much, and a mage with only tower on, isnt that big deal, the mshield is normally the problem

     

    ps: about hp formula, what changed from nem1 to nem2, is that on 180 EVERY1 has -90hp, the formula would include smth like lvl X 2 and changed to lvl x 1.5 if im not mistaken

     

    They could only remove the dk armors, weapons could stay... seen such server before and it was awesome!

     

    i failed to see vempy's post and i like his suggestion of making a bigger gap between warrior and mage hp.

     

    i also like the idea of lowering pa on both mage and warr dk set. this would make warr vs warr pvp a lot more interesting

     

    Or maybe adding mr/ma to a warriors dk set?

     

    now the thing is, finding the way of closing this gap.. in my opinion mages should be a little more powerfull than the warriors.. since wars level faster, and they can solo much more mobs than mage can.

     

     

    I've seen a couple of mages soloing wyvern in hb nemesis... name me a warrior who does the same? =DD


  2. As far as I have seen shields helps mages alot because they dont get stunned so much. (Also the damage reduce, but I think the stun is more important). That why I dont know if this is right way to solve the problem. It would be a problem if 3wars critting one mage causes a paralyze-like effect. Yes, the idea is definitely worth a try! Not a big change in server files, so we could test it for few weeks/ a month and see what happens! STR Reqs of Muta seems good.

     

    Thats completely the other way around, under 40 dmg will stun target... with tower u get probably stunned some more.

     

    And I like the idea very much, we would probably see some more battlemage builds and light shields/ statted shields would be more usefull since tower had higher str req than bfore.

    witho no tower in mass fights mages are almsot useless

    2 wars vs 1 war 1 mage

     

    imo players were equally skilled

    but the wars beat them even when 1 of them dc more than once..

    whys that?

     

    yeah a right set up war is HARDER to kill than ANY mage

    its like asking pfm to ask for 100+ int if u ask me

     

    you are missguinding people with this post. even if you were able to use just wood shield with 100% shield skill its GREAT amount of pa... tower isnt the only shield out there!


  3. Ever since hb neme2 went to high exp I've been begging for staff to change the pa on DK sets or removing them.... and add some sort of recall cooldown (not necessarily 10sec, but even 5 or 4 sec).

     

    These two things have been bugging me for a long long time.

     

    DK set was a great invention when it first came to hellbreath when it still was exp x1... but now as every1 gets it, it just makes things awfully boring and since you can get easily max lvl char, I dont even think dk set is necessary... besides theres manufacturing!

     

    Couple of months ago I played some Estonian server with my fellow guildmembers (Survivors)... That server had no dk armors at all, but it had dk weapons and I can tell you it was awesome!

    Hunting tw's / hc's was not a problem since you could easily get to 180lvl...

    Besides here in nemesis we have barrack high exp settings you can make a tank character in like couple of hours and u never have to worry bout hunting even if u wear regular kni set.

     

    I know farjat wants to keep helbreath close to the original HB, but maybe thats exactly what made people leave helbreath, they got bored.

    Now nemesis is losing alot of players, dont you think we should try something new?


  4. Ok since we now have the football court and the football added in HB nemesis, I have the following suggestions for it.

     

    1st.

    Make 5 vs 5 events where friends could form up their own team and then sign in the event in forums. Make this kind of event monthly and then after a year has passed 2 highest ranked teams would have a final tournament (best out of 5) so first team to have 3 win's would win the championship. The team that wins the championship should get some sort of great price, also make some sort of price for the monthly events, but nothing big (stones, basic necks etc.).

    Team name needs to remain the same whole year, but players in the team can change.

     

     

    2nd

    The football court I saw seemed quite messy, make a small very simple map with only grass with nothing extra (expet the football court itself). Form a football court in it with trees or stones or whatever would work the best (leave some space outside the court so there can be spectators) also leave 1 corner open so players can enter the football court. Also make the goals in the court with trees/stones or whatever works best.

     

     

    3rd

    Remember when we had the pits you could rent with contributions? Lets make the football court cost like 50-100contri to rent for 1hour, so people could train their skills and become the ultimate team and win the championship when the grande finale comes!

     

     

     

    I personally LOVE this idea (great fan of all kind of sports) =D


  5. Ares have had their share of rares aswell.. Some of them are on inactive players.

    1 xrapier were lost cause of Perun gave it to elvs, that xrapier found its way back to ares later tho.

     

    I still got my thumbs up that I get positive news about Survivors xrapier and ie sword, atleast Id like to know what happened to them, but I hope we'll get them back aswell. There would b a couple of active rares more for ares.

     

    Doesnt onecast have the first Survivors XR?

     

    Yeah, I think he does... He traded something for it cant remember what tho.

     


  6. Do you GM should wipe the Rares on characters who are using it? Elv simply having too much of rares, lol, they are sooo lucky. 3 zwand, 3 sb, (maybe) 2 ice, 1 xelima... Aresden? Geez.

Yeah I still dont really know the backrounds of how we lost our x and ice... part of the reason I am not intrested in playing anymore is that when I stepped down from leading Survivors and few others quit / went for brake... the guild was not ran well, every1 had access to the gm and the activation wpons and now theyre lost.

    I've logged in few times lately, even done some hunting, but all my items are gone and our activation wpons are on banned char its kind of hopeless.. Especially the part where Im supposed to start building Survivors again since I got nothing to offer to the old members at the moment.

     

    I believe the activation wpons are on Grx, but I dont know the backrounds, or the reason why he got banned.. So could farjat or any other GM inform me and let me know if there's a possibility of getting back the ice sword and x rapier? Cause Im truly intrested in getting back in business here in neme =)

  8. Ok so I got a little problem with my mouse.

     

    My old wheel-mouse broke yesterday so I had to start using my optical mouse.

     

    So the problem is simple, no matter what my mouse sensitivy settings are my mouse is ridiculously fast when I start playing Hellbreath..

     

    So could some1 please help me fix this?

     

    My mouse is some cheap logitech opt mouse, but I doubt its the mouses problem since this happens with every optical mouse I've tried.


  9. Sine the previous 2 answers were rather messy here's a simple answer:

     

    Rare dyes can only be obtained from events held by GM's or ofcourse trading them from other players.

     

    Rare dyes: Crimson red, Pink, Gold, Orange, Ivory... I think thats it.


  10. You should probably create a BS item map, say PL. Kind of hard to control, but it?d be kind of cool to keep rares/stated items out of scene just for one map.

     

    This way new players could still enjoy some pvp while they gather items. As they progress and acquire more items, they can use them somewhere else.

     

    Just give them the chance of having a fair fight.

     

     

    Maybe even bringing back the ND (noob dungeon). Roll back to the time when the entrance was in town instead of farm. Increase the lvl to 140- or 160 179 (maybe even trough a couple of pits in), and as I said before, dont allow rares, because then they might have to face ND raiders, or PL raiders (item whores) which are impossible for them to kill.

     

    I think that if you keep tuning this idea, you can get something really nice for new players. New thoughts keep comming to my mind such as, an entrance to ML mines from the ND, or a link to D2. Just helping new players to get faster to some places, say stone golem pit at d2, while enemies from the other town, have to run as hell to get to the sg pit in d2. Maybe modifying the maps could help.

     

    I remember when I used to play hb int (the original) I used to love the noob dungeon because I could have fun in there, get quick to the other town, mine etc etc.

     

    Just a thought

     

    If they made a map where u couldnt use rares it would just start killing pvm action... After all I see HB in 3 parts that should be in balance... Hunting (pvm) fighting other players (pvp) and leveling your character and its skills.

     

     

    1) Dedicated Pits - I suggest dedicated pits for different creatures. Hunting for me is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game, new pits for creatures like unicorns and Liches, which are rarely hunted, would certainly rekindle my interest! There is alot of redundant space in dungeon level 3 just waiting to be exploited ^_^

     

    2) Fishing - Giving the game an extra dimension might not be a bad idea. Imagine being able to fish for rares and stated items? There have always been rumours that excalibur+2 could be fished from water, how bout making it a reality?!

     

    I like the 1st idea, even tho it doesnt necessarily have to be those pits... and adding new pits would also bring some more pvp action.

     

    The 2nd idea is great also, but I see that part in a bigger scale. I think skills like manufacturing or mining has lost their usefullness because of high exp rate... Who needs manu armors when u can have dk, or who needs to mine for money since u can get tons of it from anywhere... Not to mention fishing or farming, theyre pretty useless.


  11. EK trade system will make happy just to a few ppl, doesnt count...

     

    the people that worked hard to get eks.. ek trade system will make full hero warrios play more and people get fh so they can get eks to ek trade system.. eventually if u think all people that play often will get full hero evne if it take slike 2 years xD.. its not players fualt if they have like 500+ eks already :S so for example if u made ek trade system when server opened woulda it be more fair then now?is the same thing :S

    i think if lvl till 179 on barracks will solve all the problems.. the problems are the low lvls players, if all get to 180 easy without problems = no problems

    yea but dont miss the point.

    The point is TO GET AND KEEP new players.

     

    Isnt it just as important to keep the old players?

    I mean ofcourse Nemesis needs new players, but whats the point in getting 10 new players while losing other 10 old players.

     

    Not that I even like the idea of ek trade, tho I would love to see some new hero items like hero boots or chances to upgrade your hero set.

    anywho my ideal of honey moon is in MiddleLand river , just enjoy the monster'spassing by and fishes swimming , nothing more romactic than that

     

    Oh I'd love to go on a honeymoon to the aresien garden. It has the most beautiful landscape in the whole world and it would be soo romantic to see all the unicorns wandering around <3

     

    I havent found the love of my life yet tho =/ (except for Lycanth, but nemesis doesnt support stupid marriages =/ )


  13. I kind of like the idea of making that new arg server, since its a fact there are lots of arg HB players out there.

    On the other hand Nemesis INT is maybe not dieing but getting in coma. Those who dont leave for nemesis arg, are watching their friends going there and they quit playing or gets semi-active.

    Most european / north american players are leaving to nemesis arg just because of the new start, they wanna start from empty table despite the high ping, so how about wipe in neme int?

     

    Just what I feel about the situation and just for the record, news about neme arg made me quit playing.


  14. for all those who are afraid of this idea, keep this in mind.

    arg players who already made their chars in neme int are going to stay at neme int, maybe they create some chars to see whats like to have good ping, but no one would go from a FH 100% skilled war to a traveller, just because of ping.theyve been playing with this ping for years and they are used to it.what neme int is definitevily loosing is US, rotating players who come from other servers (specially near-extinct LMDL ), and who are not willing to skill and train a char from 0 in a 200+ ping server.

    trust me.arg players who already made a name and friends on neme int will stay at neme int.

    ppl in need of a good safe server, real hb players, old timers, good players will join this neme arg project.and idk if we can see hb int numbers..but there is a high chance of playing with 300+ on :D

     

    Actually those who have already gotten pretty much everything, reached max lvl, gotten hero full gotten some items... They are most anxious to go conquer something new.
