  1. Great suggestion once again... even tho its been in a game for long long time doesnt mean its a feature. (I dont think tabbing was a feature)

     

     

    idk, it would be imposible to survive a para, being a mage. maybe they should leave it the way it is.

     

    damn it, u are a mage, mages are overpowered, and u are the ONLY person who doesn't want

     

    this lool, think a bit, a para last only 15 seconds, and its very difficult to wars to make an ek

     

    because if ur hits are 41+ u will not break the cast, so the mage is gonna escape very easily,

     

    u should think a bit, i think that this suggestion of breaking cast in any hit is awsome, it makes

     

    the pvp balanced.

     

    i guess you have a shitty war, but a well equiped war with bbh+3 dm 5 and rodrag can hit u by critical at least twice b4 u get your tower shield on, theres no way that a mage can live after a para in a 2 vs 1 fight, or something like that.

     

    what i mean with this is that hb nemesis has not being balanced for 1 vs 1 fights. bug or not the ppl who worked on it probably took this into acount the way it is when they designed the features for this server.

     

    In that case u suck... 1st of all when ur being parad by war he will be atleast like 8 squares away from u, if u cant cast firewall or get ur shield on in those 8 squares he has to run to you, you suck... even if he was right next to you being able to crit you right away, it takes 0.001 seconds to hit f3 for your hot key which is supposed to have shield in it.

     

    And it is REALLY REALLY rare that even a war with bbh+3, rodr, dm5 would hit critical trough mages dk set

     

    Playing my itemless mage (Dont even have m.shield wand) I can easily take on 3 average warriors and kill them... even if there were like 6-10 warriors I would still make it out alive.

    today on abby i fought for around 10 mins before my hero plate started stripping

    thats good enough i think

    and i wasnt even always getting hammered..

  3. its obviously a war without items can safe a 5 mages with mass blizz....and its obviously a mage can't safe a 5 wars mass clicking + lizing.....i think war is hard to use for pvp, this server have like 1.5 year and now talk about tower shield's, and pa on dk set..or im wrong?

     

    If I understood you right, you are saying that war has better chance surviving 5 mages than mage surviving 5 wars?

    Well if thats so, u couldnt be more wrong.

     

    Dk set pa has been discussed ever since hb neme2 went to high experience, and shield changes have been suggested before, as m.shield wand changes.


  4. I have a tanker/pvm char thats is:

     

    130 str (DK 15)

    190 dex

    59 int

    18 mag

    200 vit.

     

    I can really take all monsters up to GG (if runner only). Demons/Unis are easy task, and you will be able to handle spawns alone also.

     

    The bad points are that I can't use it for any pvp action, as not having 50 mag, it sux in that aspect..

    And I carry very few hp pots, mostly I carry mana because I run out of it, not very fast, but after a while you will need them.

     

    The 50 mag builds is nice also. But I prefer the 200 vit, I love it for hunting :P

     

    well I prefer having 50mag, cause then u dont have to carry mana, if you happen to get attacked by various enemies you have some hp pots to save you... + you wont be helpless when pvping. and any vitality up to 140 is pretty damn good imo =)

     

    The build Synz said would work great =)


  5. It is true that all the body parts takes damage separatedly and there are different percentage for the possibility to hit each part.

     

    I know the percentage, but I dont know if its information that farjat wants to give to the public so I let him decide if he wants to publish them.

     

    Just think about how armors strip, why does plate strip 1st even tho it has the most endurance? Theres a hint for u. =)


  6. well thats a good joke since they have alot more experience than you ( and me )

     

    they made changes according to their server..

    in korean servers i have seen crazy items they will try to upgrade a xrapier up to+7

    since they hunt so much they have alot of them

    thats why they made safe+3ing and alot more stuff

     

    each server has their own setups..

     

    anyway i said about mshield and emmy , that was incase anything was gona be done

     

     

     

    you guys should remember this is an old game...

    i dont know you guys but i play this server because its pretty close to original hb.. which i used to love and still love

    if we wanted a different game we have alot of options, i love the classic pvps , hunts , etc.

    im not saying new things are not welcome, we all will love to see new spells /weapons/ armors etc

    changing The basics is not a good thing for me .. since.. i honestly dont think anything needs to be done

    notice i have a war and mage and i havent played my mage in months

    When it comes to "classic hunt" I dont remember hunting hc's with 3 warriors, or hunting wyvs with 3 mages.

    When it comes to "classic pvp" I dont remember any mage surviving trough a paralyze with 6 wars critting him, not even 3 wars critting him.

    And by classic I mean those x1 exp x1 drop rate times.

     

    As I said in some of my earlier posts, warrior is lots of fun to play when u got a decent gear for it.

     

    I do agree that hb nemesis doesnt need any CRITICAL changes, but it needs adjusting.

    Since Helbreath came, the fire and the wheel has been invented... The game needs some changes!


  7. Simple as that, description tells everything.

     

    There are people (like me) who usually cant play at weekends and would love one raid day in week, lets say wednesday for example and I bet there are those who can play at weekends but would still love 1 more raid day... My case is as follows:

    I live in this rather small town 60km from Helsinki our capital, and my whole family, my relatives and all my friends lives in Helsinki so thats where I spend my weekends usually. And Im pretty sure Im not the only1 whos usually not capable of playing in weekends.

    Im not fan of permanent raid for obvious reasons, but 1 raid day in the week wouldnt do much harm, I actually think it would do more good than harm, if it does harm at all.

    First of all the gameplay was balanced by paid people to do it, and they worked for much longer time that all of us, so is hard to get a better balance.

     

    If you think, by any stretch of the imagination that Siementech did any sort of balancing for this game you are gullible and delusional.

     

    Vampyr is right.

     

    Those who made this game, did not have 25x experience, 3x drop rate, dragonia and they definitely didnt play this game for like 5+ years as many of us have.


  9. 7 a side works fine..

     

    with 1 player acting as a GK.. you then have 3 defenders and 3 attackers..

     

    or better yet u can make it 3-2-1 formation. I personally think 2-2-2 would work brilliantly.

    Ruutu your idea is fabulous, i was thinking that after the other days football event. Im like im not gonna play if all these hacks who dont know about football formation are playing..And all just chase the ball like we are 8 years old playing football in a non football country like Pakistan.

     

    not too mention koreans thought it was a pvp event..

     

    Ive trained and played much HB Futbol. Im like Alexis Sanchez of HB Futbol!!

     

    So 5 a side, 7 a side.. its all good.

     

    *I saw this once on a fruit server , where they had in City Hall an entrance to a futbol pitch.

     

    with goal nets and the lines drawn up.. and ppl could enter at will and muck around.. most of the time it was empty. But renting it would make sense for ppl wanting train and work out formations and which position they are best in.

     

    Im excellent for sweeper position , LW or all out striker..

     

    I saw this hb football event in some server and it was like whole server running behind the ball, it was chaotic.

    I think its a funny idea to make some sort of nemesis football league and have games held monthly, weekly, every 2 weeks or whatever works and then have a grande finale with some good price while in the other games u'd only get stones or something.

     

    If this is ever gonna happen, I'm 100% sure Ill make a team for it and we'll train harder than any1!!!

    How come? you can still get a cast out if ur fast enough or if ur a little bit lucky... wearing shield and chugging few pots would also do the trick, unless theres multiple enemies hitting u... in witch case u should not be able to survive it, after all para is 1square spell, incredibly hard to land it on target + it can be resisted and it doesnt hit trough any magical protection spells, it should be lethal spell.


  12. I dont like it. As a bmage user, I think it would kill this class..

    Really, 72 vit, man, 3 wars clicking you, you equip mshield and it helps you to live. Without shield casting, you die clicked..

     

    I insist, make it 100 STR requirement..

     

    bmage is supposed to have lots of physical / magical dmg and low vitality / defense... hard class to play but in right hands its lethal... making this suggestion happen would benefit bmages aswell, people wouldnt have m.shields so u made more dmg with physical attacks and neither would they have eme rings and u would do more magical dmg.... good offense is the best defense.


  13. Ok, i?ve read all the post, quite fast but all of if.

    There are about 10 replies i'd like to quote, i dont have the time neighter the patience to do it!

     

    Anyway, what i like to say, is that i do not agree, and thats why:

     

    As someone already said, mage concept is that is better at higher lvl, and is true that after barracks mages may be a bit more powerful.

    First of all the gameplay was balanced by paid people to do it, and they worked for much longer time that all of us, so is hard to get a better balance. This may be a fast server and it modifies that balance, yet not that much.

    After barracks, to get dk+15 is much easier for a war than for a mage. In the way to get it war can get lots of items that mage doesnt. Emmy ring (and santa comstume in those days) is easy to get as mshield, and protects a lot too.

    Plus, mage is harder to play, to be swithching between many spells is not like swith weapon/wand as the war does, thats the main reasen the amge is a better char as far as i see. Just one spell missed and the mage can be dead.

    And what about mr/ma sets?? some wars with low ma set can stand hitting like crazy!! And the mage?? Oh, yes, we have mshield... just to take it off and cast a blizz that hits almoust nothing against that set. And mages has ring as wars to rise damage, but not necks, a war wearing bbh+4, dm5 and rogd does a huge damage.

     

    As you can see i have a mage, not becose i know how to use it, just becose i like it. A mage like mine, with 50dex and 40str, has a lot less vit than a mage that doesnt wear tower, and if someone with those stats doesnt use them, is close a free ek or a runner.

     

    Finally, for me tower+mshield is the price to sacrifice many vit points and the price to be a skillfull player, not just a bag of good items.

     

    Yet you think that theres a gap? Well i think that there can be, but not so big as many think it is.

     

    I dont think mages are any harder to level than warriors and if they are, the difference is very small. I do agree tho that mages are more boring to lvl, but you gain majestics on it just as fast as on warrior.

     

    Santa suits will be wiped soon, so that doesnt really count.

     

    So you sacrificed 10vit points while taking 40str and maybe 40 vit points while taking 50dex... Even if I were only able to use targe shields I would still go for 50dex on my mage since the defense of any shield with 100% shield skill is pretty big.

     

    Anyways the common mage build: 200int, 200mag, 40str, 50dex leaves you with 107vitality.

     

    While the common war build (in order to do some dmg) is: 200str, 200dex, 59int, 25-50mag that leaves you with 113 vitality at maximum and 99% of warriors being 50mag leaves you with 88vit, even with just 182str you'd still only have 106 vitality... so which class needs to do more sacrifices??

     


  14. Okay this suggestion popped out in the "Making shields heavier" topic and I think it was an awesome suggestion.

    I myself have suggested making m.shields a real rare drop before since its one of the best defensive items you can get in this game, but making emerald rings rare drop aswell sounds fair... BUT! If emerald ring is being made a real rare item it should also be unbreakable, or its endurance should be critically raised.

     

    About the rarity level, it could be something like ip neck or even ie neck maybe?

     

    Well I thought it was a suggestion worth its own topic, so here it is... Discuss!

    thats the way i see it..

     

     

     

     

    also remember that character stats where taken into account for big fights between lots of players, not for one on one pvps, so its normal to think one character built is stronger than anotherone if u compare them in pvp.

     

     

     

     

     

    ps: hey junoh, what are ur stats, bro? u must have sum skills to play naked, i would like to see you play.. too bad i played nemed int very little :P

     

    I definitely dont agree that geared war > geared mage, it might be it might not be.. it depends on how well u use your gear, its always a matter of skills and even the best players makes mistakes.

    And what does "geared" mean anyways?

     

     

    My glory days (about a year ago) I used to play on my warrior.. I had anc bh rep3, mer neck, great hp set, dm5 neck, hero full (ofcourse), MaginEme and some other decent items... with a gear I had warrior was lots and lots of fun to play with and it was actually quite lethal against any char, even wars...

    But playing itemless warrior is the most boring thing in nemesis I can imagine... its fun if no1 else has items either, but starting out in a server thats been running for almost a year now (neme2) and where most people are stacked its booooooring, especially with the current defense mages can easily get.

    So if I started in nemesis with nothing, I'd definitely be mage... and I can see why there are lots of mages here these days.


  16. If you change the shields, you kill some builds, lets be honest the only shield that worth to be used is the Tower.

     

    Better to change something on the m shield which affect every build.

     

    Thats not true, any shield gives great amount of defense with 100% shield skill... I've played various mage builds, even here in neme... used to have 30str mage and couldnt use a tower, so I used hp42 lagi shield and it worked even better than tower shield, cause I now had 42% hp rege and 10% more vita.

     

    Removing DKs is not really good idea. What about hunting? People would stop hunting, because tankers would take too high hits.

     

    IMO The only, the best reason is DECREASING dk ENDU.

    For example 2k endu dk chain 4k endu plate, but berks, hoses like 1,5k... etc. theres dark knight and dark mage berk/legs so mage ones could be lower...

     

    Thats also incorrect... you can make 200vit tanker in barracks in like 4 hours, and your problems are solved.

     

    And when we played a server which has no dk armors with survivors, we had no trouble at all to hunt quite effectively even without a tank character. Maybe it took 1 more mage than it would have taken with dk sets, but is that really a problem?


  17. Well the official game needs 22 players so, what about making it like the real one. This is a reason to be in a guild so you could sign up your guild and have the tournament held between cities and the final winner elv team vs ares winner team for a stated weapon or armor nothing rare :) ?

     

    Its quite a mess when theres lots of people...
