very good khelben this idea qualifys for the event and is very possible

it also has the flavor of the event which was giving players a new thing to do :)

 

do you have any others maybe something that other servers could not replicate

 

something with-in our capability's but beyond theres and something that would

provide level 180s something new to work on

Ah covered low end now to do mid end and High end.

 

In Middle land is the capped off teleport pad near elvine zombies... that would be idea location to trigger something mid level like another style of dungeon or tower... Or even better may take a little looking at the coding but a triggered gateway where you can only access it if your criminal....

 

The bad lands... \

 

No recall death while still criminal results as starting back at entrance to the bad lands.

 

death which results in your slate is cleared sends you to recovery zone.

 

The mobs in that location being of a higher calibur mob like the lizard men and the centaurs... also could be the location from which to test new mobs as they come around.

 

Mind this would be one of those locations we will have people racking up PKs not eks for just to have their time in the Badlands.

 

The triggered gateway is possible in that Nemesis uses the SQL sources not the compiled binaries. Also if I remember right there may be a bit of coding that triggers the gateway for durican city upon a condition being met, I know between the infernia and the maze there is one, so this also is doable just a matter of figureing how to set the trigger to be crim status instead of all mobs killed. Other servers would have a hard time copying this MID LEVEL ADAPTION. I would say 120 to 180 range.

 

Dragonia is defelntly already high end and does not need the focus given to it right away but I will see about what I could come up with for other 180+ ideas.

 

Come on guys are you going to let me out race you give some more Ideas I would love to see people try to top me.

There's one thing u gotta change! It's been helbreath's carma all this time.

 

 

Its quit annoying to kill a GG by your self, and get for drop a wood shield n/s. or REV POT.

 

 

You should find the way to change that. If it's gonna drop a stupid wood shield, it should be a HIGH STAT wood shield.

 

Put a floor for mouster drops. It makes no sence at all like this... yea yea... tonto simentech. lol

I want to see a third town, green and gold hero. I've heard just how difficult this is to implement, would require an entire overhaul so it's probably not feasible. What I'm wondering is if a third sort of town (similar to criminal status but friendly to others in that town) is feasible if it is not implemented in crusades/sieges.

 

It would just add another level of strategy to battles, getting jumped from a third side, chances are the weakest would still get targeted first but it'd be a very interesting experience.

How bout this:

 

'Marketplace' on forum needs an overhaul, why not add a secure trading centre where players can offer real cash for items?!

 

Create a new GM to handle trades (FairTrade[GM] perhaps :blush:). Items for trade are deposited with this GM, for a small fee paid for by the buyer. Transactions are done via Pay Pal, the GM will verify the Pay Pal accounts of both Buyer & Seller. The buyer pays seller via Pay Pal and sends confirmation to GM. Once GM confirms that payment has been made, he releases items to buyer!

this service is already avaliable its called escrow

 

if you want to buy sell items it should be done via WU paypal often results in being scamed and is often offered by scammers

 

you should not buy an item with money you cant afford to lose

as GMs do not support this form of trading

I like this idee very much, but it will req. a lot of coding, and the whole HB story should be written all over, or add a new chapter.. (I would love to do it) :D

Okay seeing that my idea had already been listed I will make another suggestion which too may have already been listed I am too lazy to read 5 pages worth. Any ways I would like to see in addition to another town or two maybe another class or more options for characters. Maybe a necromancer or assasin type class and adding new spells or abilities for each. Necromancers could have spells or a skill like summon demon or summon skeleton army or something undead from the underworld that would require way more int so that low vit is a must and assasins could have an upgraded version of invis but only able to use smaller weapons or maybe a crossbow. Which may not be a total overhaul might be able to take care of this by simply adding a few spells and items. With all the other games out there we continue to play Helbreath because we love its style, I mean in comparison to how fast games and the computers they operate on are advancing we are the equivalent to 50 year old men collecting old arcade games like Ms. Pacman the sit down one of course. I understand that the people that are kind enough to run this server for us may not be equipped to add everything that this game would need to have the complexity of newer games but maybe we could cheat it a little to make it more diverse and to truly make us unique. Please dont touch the graphics though.

Here are a some more ideas i just thought up:

 

1) FireStarter - Two handed Weapen (very much like StormBringer), attacks produce fire walls! Requires 45 Int to use, and 143 Str for full-swing.

 

2) Disruptor - Mages have cancellation manual, so how bout something for the wars. This two-handed weapon cancels magic protection and berzerk mode.

 

3) Inhibitor Blade - When activated will render its opponent unable to cast spells for 1 minute.

 

4) Crafting Skill - Crafting could now be a trainable skill.

 

5) Shop Uprade - Items for trade on the forum should be accessible from the town shop.

 

6) Angel Uprade - Angels are now bound to thier characters.

 

7) Charisma Stat - The redundant stat of Charisma should be put to better use. How bout Charisma increasing Char Luck? Or perhaps increasing the chance of better items from the shop lottery?! :wub:

 

8) Town NPC's - Those roaming NPC's in town (Perry, Devlin, McGaffin) just got a little smarter! If you're lucky enough to catch them in a particularly talkative mood; they could offer unique quests, useful tips on gameplay, or even reveal the location of hidden treasure :excl:

 

9) Bonus Creatures - These creatures are like all the others in helbreath, just with unusual pigmentation. For example, pink coloured IceGolem. These creatures should appear only rarely, but should be endowed with 100% droprate, guranteed to drop something when killed.

 

10) Hired Help - Merceneries can now be bought from Command Hall at anytime to assist you in battle. Thier fee could be gold, or contribution points, or both!

Make a duelling system like wow, where when players agree to pvp they fight down to 1 hp then remain innvuln to attacks for 10 seconds to heal or run e.t.c (incase straight after you pvp you get cheap shotted for lame ek)

Ring Of The Hero Warrior = 350 eks

42-49 of hitting provability And 2 of dmg

 

 

 

Necklace Of The Hero Mage = 450 eks

Its ms21 Magick Necklace and add 1 of dmg

 

 

Ring Of The Hero Mage = 500 eks

 

ms10 and 2 of dmg

 

 

 

Neck Of Hero Warrior = 700 eks

5 of dmg and hp 35-42 (Or blood weapons Effect)

 

And one good event can be a Survival Chalenge on citys ... There are a lot of monsters (Can be an abbadon, tw's, wyverns, demmons,ggs,etc) The city with the most players death will loose, but all can kill monsters and get drop's

 

And the last one can be edit Capture the flag... dont need be a genius to imaginate waths is the objetive

Aresden has a red flag, and elvine blue flag, one team must capture the enemy flag then put it in one selected point(Can be city hall, church, etc)

guys dont waste ur time trying to think about ideas... i dun think the gms are sirues enuff to do anything from what u all sayed..

and i still havnt saw 1 thing new in hb nemesis from the big big topic of: design the future of event.

 

i would like an admin/gm will tell me if the admins are even discuss about the ideas.. or trying to accomplish 1 of them.. please ?

new quest system,

-timed quest, killing 10 ogres in X min, etc

 

-guild quest, clearing maps or killing 100+ monster

 

-killing a quest boss whos in a custom map, like instances said before.

 

-find some npc whos lost in ml or another map (long time ago in private server there was an event where cities had to protect custom characters, there was Lady Xelima and Lord Merien, you had to rescue and escort them outside the map, that map could be a custom one or maze or infernias)

 

-finding some items and parts of monster, when i finish it you get a weapon or a something made of those items.

 

-WANTED quest, killing someone or a stronger monster

 

and better prices like exp, contri, stones or some items like invis, sex, summon pots, maybe slates etc

 

better prices harder quest, ppl would play to get some items for sure not grinding like crazy to get dk+15 or a drop.

 

 

I dont beleive its really hard to get improved quest system... at least its easier than changing the whole game tho
