Buckets - Term for making baskets in basketball. I was watching basketball while making the char. IcedTea - Pretty straight forward, was getting into a bottle of iced tea at the time.

If these players just want to pvp and get Ek's, why not just implement a pvp arena?

The bigger problem however is that this is AGAIN a suggestion that hurts newer players, and only strengthens the established players with items. In general, it's newer players who NEED to train/hunt for Maj's and Items so they can try to shrink the gap in PvP between them and more established players. This update would only make this increasingly more difficult for the newer players. So unless you are planning on putting pits in non-PVP maps for these newer players, this is a terrible idea.

Certainly deserves a boost in damage. However, if we are going to begin re-evaluating the weapons in helbreath, certainly the K-wand is not the end. The DK weapons have eliminated the usefulness of most items. Pretty much every person in game uses either DK+15 weapon ( presuming they have ), a BH or a BBH. Why should a Battle Hammer, which gets the bonus of stripping amors, ALSO do more damage than say a battle axe. At the very least they should have a similar dice, with the extra 13 str being to get a weapon with armor stripping ability. Anyways, went on a tangent there but I agree with you Soli. A change is logical in this case.

The starter sets are a step in the right direction. To make this server more attractive to newer players, and to keep them playing you truly need to help level the playing field. If new updates are catered to help the already rich get richer, it only lessens the incentive for new players to come.

Oh don't get me wrong Moha, the admins here do a great job. Most of us are adults here who have other priorities in life to deal with.

It's funny, trying to solve something as straight forward as server population becomes a pain in the *censored* when: A) The game you are trying to "sell" is extremely outdated. B) The fact that HB nemesis is not a legitimate server such as HBUSA. 'A' can be worked around since Helbreath does have simple, yet very good gameplay. 'B' on the other hand, makes advertising on many of the big RPG forums (onrpg, ect) close to impossible. Sounds like you have a good event idea though Elite. See who can design the most effective advertising campaign for hbnemesis :P

It's easy to say things like you care about keeping new players, but you are not thinking about them with new updates. Pushing Barracks max level to 140 but keeping PL lvl at 140 completely kills any low level EKing for new players. Now they are just forced to be easy pickings from 140-180. The other issue as you pointed out is items. The mule thing is a great idea to get people started, however ultimately people need a way to acquire their own items. Of course, rares like GBH, Xelima items ect ect need to stay rare. However, there should be a way to EARN more basic rares like armors in the 21-28% range, low-statted weapons ect. This would still give older players an advantage, but at the very least gives newer players a guaranteed goal to work for, and even the playing field when it comes to pvp and pvm.
